Chapter 2: A Kiss

"Gosh, it's a human!" Iris exclaims excitedly, with shuffling steps towards the small human figure. Litzy is no less enthusiastic, she is twirling at Iris's feet.

Iris's wrinkled hands touched the little human gently. His body was full of mud but very soft and smooth.

Iris rejoiced that she hadn't died and that she would live much longer.

The figure is very small. Maybe the human being is only four or five years old. His hair is beautifully white, his skin is pale white, and his body is very thin.

"Hum? Why are the clothes torn?" muttered Iris, carefully turning the figure over, and gasping at the sight of a back covered in whip marks. Litzy stood on top of the figure's head, stared at the sore back then back at Iris.

"How unfortunate you are, with a body this small to feel pain," Iris said sadly, but then she chuckled.

This body is very suitable as a substitute for her rotten body. Even though it has many wounds, she can give healing potions in a short time.

She can take this body tomorrow.

Her hands cheerfully did not stop groping the entire human body, from top to bottom,

checking carefully, as if to confirm something. Suddenly, she became silent and tensed up.

"Why does she have something that men have?" Iris asked shakily, looking at her own hands. With one push, she pulled away from the human.

"A boy! How can he be a boy!?" Iris screamed in annoyance. She needed a human to recover her body and strength, a human of the same gender as herself. Being female or granny didn't matter, but boys were different. The magic wouldn't work.

"Damn, this human is a boy! What should I do?"

Litzy was still standing on top of the human body, looking at her master who was pacing in confusion, Iris's broken steps were very uncomfortable to see.

"This is the first time a human has been sent here," Iris looked at the swamp in front of her, trying to think positively about her failure.

"Do I have to wait another hundred years for another human to arrive? No, that's too long," Iris muttered nervously, looking at the human again.

"Oh, I can take a little bit of his soul core, then get out of here. This human must know the way out!" Iris exclaims cheerfully, ignoring her body, which might break if she moves too hard, Iris jumps over.

Iris touched the human's neck and checked for signs of life. She felt a very weak pulse, Iris became anxious and looked at Litzy for a moment. She could no longer change her pet as she pleased as in the past because she was dying and weak.

So she carefully dragged him away.

With difficulty, Iris placed the petite body into the coffin she made, and caressed the smooth face full of mud.

"Looks like I have to clean it up," said Iris, glancing at the black marsh, she shook her head.

There was no way she could clean this boy with such dirty water.

After thinking hard, Iris remembers that in the middle of the meadow there is a pond filled with clear water, so clear that whatever is there will be reflected clearly. She has never been there, afraid to see her face, so to clean this boy's, Iris will dare to look in her face.

Walking with shuffling steps, dragging the boy, through the meadow, from a distance the pool of water glittered.

CRACK!

"Gosh, my arm is broken!" Iris screamed and hurled the human to the ground. She almost burst into tears, seeing her crooked hands.

Iris carefully straightened her hand.

"Ahh... my hand will break soon," complains Iris, carefully straightening her hand. Litzy ran around the boy, sniffing.

Iris dragged the defenseless boy back to the edge of the pool, the sparkling water reflecting her face.

"Oh, how ugly!" said Iris in a disdainful tone, unwilling to look at her reflection, hastily looked away, but suddenly remembered that it was her face and felt very sad.

Reluctantly, Iris lowered his muddy body into the pool, taking off his clothes one by one. When she reached the last cloth, Iris screamed again.

"How could a holy being like me strip men?"

As a witch, Iris was already hundreds of years old. She had traversed all kinds of creatures, but as much as she had encountered, she had never interacted with a male human, let alone this close.

"Ouch, where did I put my face? My face must be red!?"

Iris excited herself, glanced at her reflection in the water, then screamed again. Litzy, who was standing on the grass, just watched silently.

"He's just a boy, he's a boy," Iris said to herself. She quickly rubbed the boy's body.

This boy was charming, his skin was so smooth, his white hair so soft, but he also looked fragile. Iris had never touched someone so carefully.

"Uh ...." A low mumble stopped Iris' activity, staring at the humans in her arms, half of their bodies under the water.

The eyes blinked, slowly looking up at Iris, who was frozen still. The atmosphere became silent for a moment.

"Am I in hell?" Thomas asked confusedly, he woke up in the arms of a living skull wearing a black robe in the water, not to mention a rat on top of his head.

"You're at my place," Iris said in an artificially calm voice. In her heart, she chanted the word 'little boy' over and over again.

"Am I still alive?" Thomas raised his hands, tears welling up in his eyes; the magic had worked, and he had survived.

Thomas realized that his body was almost naked, he looked at the person who was embracing him with a red face up to his ears.

"You were injured, so I intend to clean it and then treat your wounds," explained Iris. The boy in front of her looks very adorable.

Thomas got up from Iris' lap, tugged at the clothes Litzy had brought out of nowhere, and he nervously put them on.

"Thank you for helping me," said Thomas when he sat opposite Iris in the meadow, he was a little scared to see Iris's terrible form.

"My name is Thomas," he continued, hesitant to introduce himself as Prince Megalima.

"I'm Amara Iris." She said with a smirk on her face.

Iris saw the boy in front of her shaking with fear at seeing her face. This was a golden opportunity to get at his soul core.

"I'm helping you not voluntarily," she continued in a low but pressured voice, her hand touching Thomas' chin, forcing him to look up.

"What do you want?"

"Your soul, I want your soul. You want to give it, don't you?"

Thomas did not answer, just sat stiffly, the witch moved closer and touched Thomas' pale lips.

She kissed Thomas, who was frozen.

The witch casts a spell, making him drink her blood and vice versa. Iris broke the kiss with a trembling heart, inwardly screaming because this was the first time she had acted aggressively towards the opposite sex. Thomas looked at Iris in disbelief, touching his lips.

"This ... is my first kiss."
