Chapter 80: Mary's First Love **

When Noah suddenly held Mary by her arms.
She looked at Noah with the same neutral expression...She thought maybe Noah wanted something else. Hence, she tiptoed and was about to lean forward for a kiss when Noah blocked her lips with his palms.
Confused, Mary backtracked a little and looked at Noah as she furrowed her brows.
"What is it, Noah?"
She asked in an appealing tone. She has already come this far...if Noah had any particular requests she would fulfill them and be done with them.
"Why do you want to rule over the Delos Empire?"
Noah asked as he couldn't understand her personality.
A control freak she was. Yes!
Shrewd she was. Yes!
But why go this far when you are the Empress and already have enough authority?
Mary clenched her fists as the inequality that she has faced, flashed through her mind.
She was just a woman. A woman to breed and give birth to children who will rule!
She was just a woman. A woman who will always remain as a background character.
She was just a woman. A woman who would never rule!
A mother. A wife. A daughter.
That was her destiny. why?
She wanted to be like the Empress of the Geldin Empire. A single woman who rules over the entire Empire alone overturning the biased opinions of the masses with a sword. Geldin Empire has several procedures for people who want to be the next Emperor/Empress. One of which is to fight your way to the top with fists.
Unfortunately, Mary was not that strong. And now that her cultivation was reduced to S-rank due to that accident, her powers dwindled further. She could only plan everything from behind the scenes.
"Why do you want to rule over the Delos Empire?" Noah asked again to break her trail of thoughts.
Mary furrowed her brows as she replied with gritted teeth:
"It's none of your business Noah."
"..."
"huh? But it is my business!" Noah replied with the most 'sincere' expression he could find from his 'book of expressions'.
He wanted to find out why Mary was going so far as to rule over an Empire, which in his eyes was insignificant.
"Why?" Mary asked in a neutral tone and looked at Noah.
"Because it is my first time Mary..." Noah lied through his teeth as he wanted to solve the puzzle of Mary's personality and motives.
"Your first time huh?"
"Why me?" Mary squinted her eyes and looked at Noah in suspicion.
Mary couldn't understand why Noah would be interested in her. She was not a virgin and she knew the personality of men because she loathed them with all her heart. She knew men like to take the virginity of women and feel a sense of conquest. So, she was slightly intrigued by Noah.
"Why not Mary?"
"You see...You are quite interesting...Mary..."
"First you sent assassins after me in order to probe about my abilities, and when it was confirmed that I could be stronger than A-rank and may even be hiding more abilities, I became a variable. You tried to make me your slave and although you didn't require to make Ares, Valentina, or Lady Adah your slave, yet you decided to make them your slaves too...why? A control freak..."
"When you knew I could be a much stronger variable that may spoil your plans, you decided to chip in your allies about my abilities."
"Now that you are out of options, you are willing to spread your legs for me?"
"The person whom you wanted to kill not long ago as I was a variable in your equation?"
"Do you not fear me? I might betray you and not follow along with your plans..?"
Noah's years of experience were telling him...that Mary was on her last straw...
But-
Was this all really necessary? What if he betrays her? She didn't even ask Noah to make a divine Oath?
Noah deduced that she wanted to build trust and not an Oath which may make Noah hesitate.
Why is she going this far?
"If you betray me...then I will be lost...truly lost..." Mary said in a dead tone.
"haha~ In fact, I expect you to betray me...haha" Mary chuckled slightly.
"Men will be men...hahaha" she chuckled self-depreciatingly. For some reason, she found this extremely hilarious. At the end of the day, she was still nothing and was trying to fly on a dragon's lap.
"I see..." Noah understood everything. Mary was not his enemy...She sent those assassins to probe him and not kill him or hurt him. She tried to use slave items on people related to Noah and paid for them. And the possible assassination that was avoided due to Noah's intervention was not planned by Mary. She only relayed the information she had.
"Do you think men will change if the ruler changes?" Noah asked Mary, who was finding this situation funny.
Mary stopped laughing as she looked at Noah with loathing. She continued in an emotionless tone:
"Of course, as long as you hit them in the nuts and they couldn't hit you back because of your status and power behind you...it will all change"
"You are right but your plan is flawed Mary"
"Huh?" Mary didn't understand.
"Men will not be happy with your rule...and you know what will happen with the dissatisfaction and restlessness?"
"A rebellion?" Mary smirked...
"I would use the soldiers to fight against those men who rebel..."
"Even if I lose...I would still be the winner as the men of this Empire will suffer and many will die" Mary's smirk widened further.
"So your ultimate goal is to make men suffer...right?"
"Yes...but don't worry, I promise you I will leave you alone and give you a chance to escape before this Empire is ruined completely." Mary's last hope to make her plan successful was Noah. She would keep her end of the deal as long as Noah follows along with the plan.
"You want my body...you can have it. I could only hope that you don't betray me" Mary said neutrally. Her eyes didn't hold any emotions.
"Heh~" This time Noah smirked as he found Mary entrancing.
Alarmed, by Noah's devilish smile, she asked:
"What is it?"
"I like you~" Noah straightforwardly answered without hiding anything.
"..."
"Wh-What?" Mary blinked twice in disbelief.
"Do you remember the events of Trynis city?" Noah asked as a small grin formed on his face.
"Men had sex with men, but it was reported that they were under the control of some strange force. Many killed themselves because of the things that they did unconsciously." Mary recalled.
"Do you remember what happened in Yutao city?"
"Many people died, including Luke due to unexplainable phenomena." Mary was deeply thinking about something...The casualties of men were higher than women. Maybe the women have devoted themselves to their husbands that their first call for help was towards them and not the Divine Goddess that saved them, and men as the proud individuals they were, only believed in Goddess.
Noah pulled Mary's clothes by magic and put them in Mary's hands.
Mary didn't ask anything and put her clothes back on herself as she was still trying to figure out why Noah was reminding her about these incidents when he suddenly grabbed her by her lithe waist and stepped forward, brutally cutting apart space and appearing above the mansion of noble households in Delta city.
"This..."
Mary saw several men grouping and killing other noblemen. Their eyes were grey and they kept fighting, not caring about their well-being at all.
"Do you like this?" Noah's smile widened as he held her by her waist tightly up in the air.
Mary had several questions about how he teleported them in mid-air above delta city suddenly but then she connected all the dots...
Trynis city- Noah reached there and only then did that unknown event occurred.
Yutao city- The same happened there as well...
And now Delta city!
"You..." Mary was shocked, her mind blank and her heartbeat raced at an all-time high.
Noah leaned forward and gave a peck on her lips...
...Mary's breathing turned erratic as she closed her eyes accepting the kiss fervently. She understood Noah was similar to her...creating turmoil in the hearts, bodies, and minds of men.
Noah teleported them to Mary's bedroom again. Noah was laying on his back while Mary was on top of her kissing him. Mary opened her little mouth and expected Noah to intrude her mouth with his tongue. Noah didn't disappoint and pushed his tongue inside her mouth as Mary's tongue coiled around his.
Their tongues battled and danced around each other as they tasted each other's saliva with blazing passion. Mary was confused about how Noah could be this good even if it is his first time...but Noah didn't give her time to think as he squeezed her butt which cause her to make a muffled sound in his mouth and forget about useless things and only enjoy what she was feeling.
Mary tore off Noah's clothes. He didn't mind Mary's behavior as he had many clothes. She threw her own clothes in the corner immediately. Soon they both were naked, engaged in a wet kiss.
Mary's black eyes as deep as abyss peered into Noah's purple eyes and a spark of electricity was created in between. Mary started kissing Noah's chest, nipples and slowly her mouth reached Noah's rod that was still limp.
Mary immediately dived in to taste the divine rod of the person she has fallen for the first time.
