Chapter 10: Chapter 10

Days seem to fly quickly. It's now Friday, Yuri's most awaited day.

He hasn't seen Paris these past few days at all, so he's hoping to see him again today. It's still morning and the club meeting starts after class, so Yuri is patiently waiting for the classes to end.

"Let me sit here," Chesca said as she stood in front of Yuri's seatmate, asking him to move to another seat. "Why should I? You keep coming here even if this isn't your seat. Just go somewhere else," Yuri's seatmate, Ren Takahashi, frowned.

These past few days, Yuri hasn't really spoken to him at all. He's too quiet and he only ever speaks to Chesca. It's like he's not allowing anyone to enter his world.

"Come on, Rain... It's not like this is the first time I asked to sit here," Chesca said as she pouted and gave him puppy eyes. "You really have to stop that or else I'll poke your eyes," Rain said as he frowned at her.

He then stood up and said, "Careful, Ches." He then walked away, leaving Yuri clueless as to why he told Chesca to be careful.

'Seriously, he shouldn't be saying something like that out loud...' Chesca thought as she watched Rain walk away.

The omega looked at her and saw that she had a serious look on her face. When she noticed that Yuri was looking at her, she then smiled and sat on the chair.

"Are you guys friends?" Yuri asked as he raised his brows. During the first three weeks of school, Uriel noticed that they don't speak much to each other inside the classroom since Rain is always keeping his distance from everyone, but Chesca still approaches him.

Yuri thought they must be close friends since Chesca doesn't really approach anyone first aside from him and Yuri.

"Hmm? I didn't tell you about it?" Chesca said as she raised her brows. "We've been friends since primary school," she smiled. "He may seem like a total snob, but he's just normally like that. I'd totes get alarmed if he starts being all friendly and clingy," she laughed.

"Really? Your friendship lasted so long, huh?" Yuri said as his eyes widened a bit, amazed that they've been friends for a long time.

'I'm kinda jealous of that... Having a longtime friend...' he thought.

"Yep. There are still some other people in my inner circle. Theodore, Tori, Rain, and Paris. Theodore is my cousin, Tori is my best friend, Rain is Rain, and Paris is... well, he's Paris," she giggled.

"Did you say, Paris?" Yuri's ears perked upon hearing his name. "Yeah? Do you know him?" Chesca asked. "We're in the same club. I met him when I applied," the omega said as his heart skipped a beat upon remembering his encounter with Paris.

"Huh? Paris? In the Drama Club?" Chesca scoffed in disbelief. "Is that a joke?" she laughed. "Oh, no. Not in the Drama Club. I actually joined the Outdoors Club..." Yuri said and touched his nape as he looked down.

"I forgot to mention it but it just happened that way. There were too many people applying for the Drama Club, so I just went with a senior who was looking for club members," he lied.

"Oh, July dragged you away, huh?" Chesca laughed. Yuri raised his head and looked at Chesca with widened eyes, unable to hide the shock on his face. "How did you know?" he asked.

"He did that back in middle school as well. I was a victim too," she said and rolled her eyes while smiling. "Anyway, you'd probably find the club fun if you're an outdoorsy person but if you're not, then... sucks for you, Yuri," she giggled.

Yuri had an indescribable expression on his face. He thought of the possible things that they might do in their club, and just thinking about it is already draining him.

"Judging from your face, you're probably not that fond of the outdoors. Don't worry, I'll ask Paris to look after you," Chesca smiled, her dimples showing on her cheeks.

Upon hearing the name 'Paris', Yuri's face turned bright red. The guy's smiling face flashed in his head, making his heart flutter.

Chesca remained silent upon seeing how Yuri's face looked.

'He suddenly turned red because of what I said. Is he embarrassed that I found out that he doesn't like outdoors activities or is it because...' Chesca examined Yuri's face more and finally came to a conclusion.

"Do you have a crush on him?" she asked. Yuri's eyes widened and his face turned even redder upon hearing what Chesca said.

"Ah-hah! So you do!" she giggled. "I'll be rooting for you. You can ask me anything you want to know about him," she winked.

"Ch... Chesca, shh... Don't tell anyone about it, please," Yuri said as he put his palms together while still blushing.

"Yes, yes, I won't. I promise," she smiled.

Yuri's face felt so hot that he could almost imagine steam coming out of his head. He felt embarrassed and shy that Chesca found out about it so easily just because of his reactions.

'Hmm...' Chesca smirked from seeing Yuri look so shy.

"There's still time before class starts. Come with me," Chesca stood up quickly and dragged Yuri from his chair. "Hey, where are we going?" Yuri said as he let Chesca drag him to wherever she was taking him.

"Just somewhere," she giggled and sped up a bit more. They headed to the classroom at the end of the hallway, and as soon as they were in front of the door, Chesca knocked on it even if it was open to grab the students' attention.

Yuri wondered why they went there, and as soon as his eyes scanned the entire classroom from outside, he felt like his heart stopped when he saw Paris sitting at the back of the classroom with some of his other classmates.

"Hi, Chesca! What brings you here?" One of the students said as he approached the two. "Can you call him for me? That guy over there," Chesca said as she looked in the direction where Paris is.

"Just a sec," the student said and turned his head to look at them. "Hey, Chesca's calling you!" he yelled.

Yuri's heart began to race and his palms started getting sweaty. He wanted to run away but Chesca's grip on his wrist was tight.

A man started walking towards them, his eyes glued to them. He stood in front of the two and said, "Yeah? What is it?"
