Chapter 41: Save The Sundae! Part 4

"Be careful with the explosives or you'll kill us all!" Someone yelled at his partner. She was placing a bunch of explosives in a crate and was adding a timer for when it would all explode. She finished adding the timer and had it ready to explode for 10:00 minutes. As she made her way to the elevator, they noticed that it was currently being used by someone, and they were going up.

They could see that the elevator was getting closer and closer to their floor, and wondered who would be coming. They assumed it was one of the people on the lower floors that needed to do something important. The only problem was why they didn't inform them before coming to the 120th floor.

When the elevator finally arrived at their floor, they could see the elevator door slowly open. They could see two teenagers inside of the elevator. One of them didn't have a scratch on him and had expensive clothes and jewellery on it. His demeanour, fashion sense, rings, chains, rolex, shoes, earring, everything about him was screaming rich kid.

The other one on the other hand looked like he had just come from surviving world war 3 and 4. His clothes had hundreds of bullet holes that he was practically shirtless, and even his pants had bullet holes. In spite of that, he didn't even have a single scratch on his body but they did notice his body.

He looked like he regularly worked out except he also had multiple scars all over his body. From bullet wounds, cuts from blades, broken bones, he had a whole gallery of different scars. His body was telling them that he wasn't normal, and had been in several fights even though he was so young.

"Criminals! Your scheme of wrongfully stealing all of the ice cream treats ends now. Give up now or we shall have no other option but to end your malfeasance." Sebastian said with a heroic expression on his face.

"What the hell are you talking about? We're here to blow this place up, not for some ice cream." One of the robbers said.

"I see." Sebastian said with his head held down, and a horrified expression on his face. He couldn't believe what he had just heard, and didn't know that such scum existed.

"You're really going to explode this place?" Sebastian asked.

"That's the plan, kid." He answered.

"You bastard, if you do that then that means you'll also destroy all of its amazing ice cream treats!" Sebastian blasted one of them with a beam of light, and looked incredibly mad.

'It's a good thing they're blowing this place up because if they were just robbing the place then Sebastian would have lost his motivation and would go easy on them. Sebastian really loves his ice cream huh.' Victor thought to himself.

Sebastian had successfully hit his enemy but they quickly got back up, and drew their sword out. It looked like a sword you would see in a fantasy anime because of its unique look. It had an empty hamon in the middle of the black blade that looked like it could be filled with something.

Sebastian blasted him again with another beam of light but with more force this time, and his opponent responded by blocking it with the end of his sword. Sebastian's own spell was being absorbed by his opponent's sword, and the empty bar the sword had was being filled with Sebastian's magic.

The sword hamon had a white light of mana filling it up, and because Sebastian had used more power the sword was completely filled. She then vertically swung her sword at Sebastian, and a giant white line of mana went straight towards Sebastian.

"Let's see how you handle your own attack!" She yelled as the white slash of light went straight towards her.

He summoned his shield of light but the crescent slash of light easily smashed through his shield with ease. It continued towards Sebastian at an incredible speed but he used his light travel to move out of the way.

"So you can use my own attack against me, that doesn't change a thing. Your ass is still gonna end up unconscious on the ground." Sebastian said when he saw their arrogant smile, and showed her a thumbs down.

Sebastian used light travel to appear behind his enemy in less than a millisecond. He blasted them with a regular orb of light that didn't explode but his enemy turned around, and absorbed the attack. This time the blade was only filled up by only 5% capacity. Sebastian used light travel to get right in front of his enemy, and blasted another orb of light at them.

They were sent flying towards the wall but were able to get back up, and spit some blood while they got back up. She swung her sword at Sebastian and another slash of light went towards Sebastian. However, this one was far slower and smaller than the last slash of light she swung.

Sebastian easily moved to the side and it went right past him. Sebastian used his light travel to appear behind his enemy and shot a beam of light. His opponent turned around to absorb it with her sword but while she was absorbing the attack, Sebastian appeared behind her.

He started blasting her with multiple orbs of light and they all hit they're target. Because she was getting hit from the back, she let go of her sword, and also got hit by the beam of light from behind. She was hit by a barrage of powerful spells, and a small explosion happened. Dust and smoke was thrown everywhere, and when it finally cleared, somehow she was still standing.

In spite of that, she was in terrible condition, and her equipment had seen better days. Her armor was mostly destroyed, her chest piece was broken to pieces, her helmet was non-existent, her leggings were cracked beyond repair, and she was bleeding all over her body. Her sword on the other hand was completely ok and its mana capacity was full, and ready to blast Sebastian. She was using her sword to support her balance so she wouldn't fall

"What's this? You're still standing? Looks like you're tougher than I thought, insect." Sebastian had an arrogant smile on his face.

She swung her sword at Sebastian, and another slash of light was heading his way. It was way bigger than all the other attacks, which Sebastian wasn't expecting but still easily avoided with his light travel. The blast went straight past him straight through the building window, and everyone outside saw the giant slash of light.

Sebastian could see that the sword was still filled with his mana, and finally understood how it worked. He had completely underestimated the abilities of the weapon and had a basic understanding of how she survived.

'I assumed that container was filled, then she could fire back an attack. Something like that is really powerful but also brings a disadvantage. If that was true, then she would have to wait until her sword was fully filled. My plan was going to be to attack her with blasts that couldn't fill it up then attack her from behind.

'Despite that, she could still fire out attacks even when it's not 100% filled up. So then I tried to fill the damn thing up and give her a barrage of attacks from behind her. In spite of that, it appears it's able to absorb more than I thought it would. Well it doesn't really matter, I'll just grab that sword for myself. I just need to deal with her first.' Sebastian analyzed.

He then focused a large amount of mana to his hand, and blasted it at his opponent. She raised her sword to absorb the spell but underestimated how powerful it was. The beam started to push her back, she was struggling to fully absorb the attack. She was struggling to not fall over, and her sword was about to reach its limit.

Eventually she was able to absorb Sebastian's spell with her sword, and was ready to send it right back at him. When she looked in front of her, Sebastian was nowhere to be seen, and she could feel an astounding amount of pain on her back and stomach. When she looked down, she could see a sword of light that had impaled her from behind and was sticking out of her stomach.

Sebastian was right behind her, and was holding the sword in his hands. Sebastian pulled his sword out and unsummoned it. His opponent immediately fell to the floor, and their body rested in a pool of their own blood. Sebastian grabbed the sword she used, and could immediately feel the power it granted him.

Sebastian then started healing his opponent's wound so they wouldn't die. He only closed up the stab wound so she wouldn't get back up. He decided to save her as a thank you for such a great new weapon. Sebastian only healed her to the point that she wouldn't die but would still be unconscious for a few weeks.

She would die of blood loss after a couple of hours but Sebastian wouldn't really care about it at that point. When he looked over in Victor's direction, he was surprised to see that Victor had already killed the other two. At least, it appeared that the other two were dead because of how they were covered in blood.

His katana also had blood on it, and even Victor was covered in blood. It looked like a bloody massacre, and Sebastian couldn't see a single scratch on Victor. Sebastian stared at Victor's back, and noticed that Victor seemed a little different.

"Victor, are you alright?" Sebastian asked. Victor slowly turned around, and had an extremely arrogant look on his face. It was even more arrogant than Sebastian but the difference was that it looked like he deserved it. As if it would actually be rude if he didn't look arrogant, and sort of pissed Sebastian off a little.

"As you can see, I've dealt with the problem." Victor said but Sebastian felt like he was acting strange. This was because Victor wasn't the one in control, Kuro was the one who was currently in control, and was also the one who took care of the other two.

_____

While Sebastian was taking care of one of the robbers, Victor was about to go against the other two robbers. The female robber he was facing used daggers as their main weapon, and was wearing thin beast armor that was made for speed.

Her male partner had armor that didn't affect flexibility or mobility, and had a scythe as his main weapon. As Victor was about to summon his weapon, Kuro started a conversation with him.

'Do you mind if I take control this time?' Kuro asked.

'That's weird, why do you want to fight all of a sudden? You never showed any signs before.' Victor responded but he didn't say it out loud.

'I miss it. I miss a lot of things, and being in your subconscious is far better than being in that crystal. Despite that, I am still trapped in a prison but a more enjoyable one. I am not free, maybe when you die I might get freed but I would rather not have you die in exchange for my freedom. I just wanted to have another battle, one more time.'

After hearing something like that, Victor agreed to it, and let Kuro take control of his body.

"Thank you, VIctor." Kuro said as a black portal opened in front of him and Victor's atrocious katana slowly came out of it. Kuro grabbed the handle of the katana, and a black aura immediately surrounded it.

"It's been thousands of years since I have been in battle, let's see if I still have it."
