Chapter 3: Chapter three: Protecting the Princess
Qin Haoyu after befriending Akeno spent most of his time with her. As they spent time together she became less and less nervous. They have gone to the amusement park. And even slept at each other's house. Everything was happy and perfect. On the day of his 5th birthday everyone came to celebrate. The day was filled with joyous laughter. When everything was over his father told him they needed to talk.
Qin Chao: Listen, your instincts as a devil Arhat will only grow stronger as you grow. Therefore from now on I will be teaching you to control your powers. Also take this ring, it is a sacred gear I had god of the bible make it for me.
As his father said that he handed over the ring to Qin Haoyu. The ring was multi colored with a dragon engraved on it. The ring is obviously the gift he got from god. When he put it on he immediately felt a connection. Once the connection was formed he heard a voice.
???: Hello master my name is Li Yun. I am the youngest of our nine sisters. We will all work hard and fight alongside you.
Since that interaction with one of the dragon sisters. He began trying with his father. At first he could only use one dragons' powers. But slowly he became able to use two. Not only did he improve his use of his ring. He also discovered that he had all of Qin Chao's (MBT MC) powers. For example his body is strong borderline invincible. He also is able to summon Netherworldly creatures. Except in his case he has Netherworldly avatars. Not only that but he also had Nine Underworld Yin flame.
His training included hand to hand and swordsmanship. A few times during his training Akeno would visit. When she did she would watch him train. Her lovestruck gaze started to worry him. After all if she fell for him then what about Issei. Life went on like this until one day tragedy struck. While he and Akeno were hanging out he sensed a disturbance. It only took a second for him to remember what would happen to Akeno.
Right as he was about to run home with Akeno. A group of youkai with vicious smiles stood in front of them. They each held different weapons slowly walking toward them. Haoyu squeezed her hand nervously. Akeno was clearly afraid. He noticed her fear so he pulled her behind him. When the youki saw that they started laughing.
Youki A: HAHAHAHA..... Hey boys look at mister hero trying to protect the princess. I am so afraid. Oh please noble knight, forgive me for my disrespect.
Mocking the children one of the youki received a laugh from his comrades. This act managed to royally piss Qin Haoyu off. Before anyone could react he vanished. When he reappeared he was holding the head of a youki. Confused the youki looked amongst their group. All of them still had their heads except one. The one mocking Haoyu to be exact. Haoyu then held up the head and said.
Haoyu: I will give you guys two choices. You can either leave and live or stay and die. Your pick gents but let me tell you. You better stay away from Akeno otherwise there will be no more mercy.
His words case them to take two step back. On the inside they were pissed at the idiot who planned this. Who was one that said handling two kids will be easy. The monster in front of them was no child. Torn between either staying and fighting. Or leaving to be never involved with this night mare again. Their deliberations continued until a clap brought them back. They turned to the sound. The sound was coming from a seductive woman. She wore a kimono that hung off her shoulders. A single black tail swayed behind her back. Adding that with the twitching ears it is obvious that she a nekomata.
While she was smiling she still remained on high alert. Haoyu demonstration just now. Clearly showed he has not only speed but also strength. His face is completely calm. Which, means that he is either a skilled fighter or a fool. Miyuri joined this mission because she owed the Himejima head. Back in her youth she often cased trouble. Until one day she pissed off the wrong person. Luckily she was save Himejima Shuri. So when she heard that a fallen angel controlled her mind. Miyuri felt like she needed to help. At the very least she wanted to insure Shuri's daughter's life.
Haoyu searched his memory of Akeno's family for this woman. One second later he remembered. This woman should be Miyuri ,a youkai who took part. Except she is only involved because a debt owed to Shuri. Unfortunately she was tricked and cased her death. Originally she was supposed to be holding Baraqiel. But due to him killing one of the strong youkai. She instead was sent to investigate.
If things fallowed the original story she is supposed to die. But since Miyuri did this how the kindest intentions. He decided to spare her. Making his decision Haoyu transformed into a blurry. Miyuri also moved and blocked his attack another youkai.
Miyuri: Damn, what kind of monster are you. That attack just now had enough force to explode a head.
Haoyu: Thanks for the compliment but, compared to my father I am still weak. If it were him he could kill three before you moved.
Miyuri's shocked expression was sorta funny. After all in terms of strength she actually really close to Baraqiel. So to find out that a man even stronger was in the area. Worried her greatly. Their plan was not exactly stealthy. If they took too long this kids father might show up. At least that is what she thought. She looked at the boy and noticed Akeno behind him. From what she can tell Akeno must be Shuri's daughter.
Miyuri: Excuse me little girl but I know your mother she saved my life. So you don't need to be afraid. We are here to save from the fallen angel to is holding you hostage.
Akeno:(angry) You are a liar. My daddy did not kidnap mommy. It was the Himejima family that banished us. If you are here to help then you wouldn't be with them.
Miyuri was stunned and for the first time she was full of doubt. Taking advantage Haoyu acted again this time with his Netherworldly devil palm. White flame burning on it his palm landed on a Tangu. After the attack all that remained was ash. Panic filled the rest of the youkai's hearts. Their group originally had 5. Now however all that was left is the weakest of their team. Haoyu actually did this on purpose. This is his father's favorite battle tactic. Rather than targeting stacking up number you kill of the strongest. This way there is no way to comfort their selves into thinking that they have a chance. Right as he was about to finish. A roaring explosion filled the air. Haoyu could feel that it was his father. But for some reason he had a bad feeling.
Unable to shake off the feeling he grabbed Akeno and blurred. Right now he is relying on the power of a avatar. The white tiger avatar who was master of speed and devouring. His first time using it was a little dangerous. Now however he could use it with little problem. He continues to speeding through the trees. Until they arrived at Akeno's house. Once outside they saw signs of a great battle. Akeno looks around before race in the house. Inside looks no better, as they bolt through interior. Blood and scratches were everywhere.
Their hearts sank into their stomachs. In one room Baraqiel and the Qin couple gathered. On the floor was a body. Her heart was pierced but her face held a peaceful smile.
Akeno: Mother!!!!
Akeno screams as she enters the room. Everyone turned to the noice. Only to see her flying into the room. She approaches to kneel beside her mother's body. Haoyu stood at the doorway heart broken. His daze was broken when Akeno started yelling at her father. It happened just like the story. Except now he can see the pain and regret on Baraqiel's face.
Only now did Haoyu understand why he left Akeno. It was because he thought she will reminded of her greatest. It also was because, his pain as well. Luckily this time they were not alone. As Akeno kept crying. Haoyu appeared behind her and tightly wrapped his arms around her.
Haoyu: Don't worry everything will be okay. After all my dad is the Devil Arhat. He is the man who laughs in the face of the gods.
Haoyu unsure what to do decided to believe in his father. Fortunately for him his father never let him down.
Qin Chao: Actually we have two methods to revive her. Either I or my wife can do it. Haoyu do you remember when, I told that your avatars have a secret skill. This skill can allow them to possess another person. By doing that the person will have that avatar's powers. But the individual must be a woman. The possessed woman is called a devil bride.
Avrora: As for me I can turn her into a member of my household. In that case she will be a Noble vampire. Of course the sun will be no problem. To be honest you should take my offer. If you choose my husband's method her life will be tied to his.
Her suggestion forced Baraqiel into deep thought.
