This book is fine. The characters seem good enough, and interactions are genuine. That's good. But this really needs a run through grammarly or something similar, as the grammatical issues are obvious. The paragraphs are far too big and need to be spaced more. Finally, far too much backstory is given far too fast. Giving this kind of information is fine, but the payoff feels ham-fisted. Don't force background information on the reader. Not bad. 3.4/5

Have enjoyed the first few chapters of this novel so far! It is a little description heavy and could use some more summarisation in places, but the flow of the chapters takes a good pace. I personally cracked up at how tragic the MC has had it so far, rather entertaining. Keep it up author!
