Chapter 28: Mechanized Units
Tomorrow morning, he have thought of something and decided to move forward to that plan.
"You know what, I want more defenses in my building!"
So he goes outside the building, and stands at the vast wasteland besides the building.
He still felt depressed not being able to talk to the first people he sees since coming to this world, but he decided to not dwell on that matter too much.
For now, he wanted to create a more secure area so he will be much safer. Also, in case he got his family back, they will also be safe along with him.
"Mechas! Those are freaking strong I think?"
Mechanized Units are one of the things he can buy from Dinah. They cost at least millions of DP, with expensive ones going on the nonillions up to decillions.
He knows he can't afford hundreds of those expensive ones. Maybe if he spent all his day converting the infinite pizzas to Dinah, he might have enough to afford a hundred of those, but he didn't want to waste his time just looking at the pizzas being converted repeatedly. That would be dull.
So he is going to buy the good quality ones. Those that costs quadrillions of DP.
Of course, he is also going to buy some of the expensive ones. At least a pair or something just for more variety.

After accepting those purchases, the whole wasteland lits up in light. Many holographic outlines of different machines slowly appears on the surface.
It is an army of sleek and advanced mechanized units. There are three battalions of black mechanized units with a red visor-like accessory on their head. Each battalion differed from one another. The first battalion being more closer to humans in figure, the second are more larger and bulkier, and the last one is more lean and stealthy looking than the first battalion.
There are also a battalion of large cool looking mechas twice the size of people. They look like they have a lot of gadgets and gimmicks within their bodies.
A battalion of doll-looking ladies wearing a victorian maid dress. All of them have different appearances, though all of them are a lot more beautiful. They have the beauty that can make even a model run barefooted.
A hundred of giant moving castles, easily outsizing his building by many margins. These moving castles contains a lot of weaponry within them, and it seems like there are eight sharp limbs on this futuristic moving castle that makes it moves nimbly on the ground.
On the other side, giant super tanks that emanates some sinister auras. They are mainly dark and looks very dangerous.
Besides these tanks are humongous robots that seems to be as tall as the mountains itself. Even if he stretches his neck, he can't see where it's body ends at all.
Then two human sized mechanized units that almost look like a ripoff of a Sentai Hero. The only difference is that these two are real robots.
Behind the building, another large robot is there. It is not as large as the titanic robots besides the tanks, but it is still as large as a skyscraper. It's face looks more like a beast, though it's body is a bit closer to human but a lot more cool. It can be considered closer to looking like a lycan with just the bulk of it's body and it's mechanized wings that shines with yellowish forcefields.
Overall, it is something that almost put him in a panic.
"Fuck, I didn't think this through!"
In a haste, he quickly tries to put the very large infantries on his Dimensional Storage. He is glad when he manages to do that.
He wanted to be secure, not to scare off people who comes here. That kind of titanic creature is just asking for trouble.
The only ones remaining are the units that are reasonably sized. Which means only the battalions and the tanks remained. The two Sentai-like robots are also not put on the dimensional storage.
"Phew... that almost gave me a shock." He said with a sigh of relief.
Then he looks up and glances at the large array of units that he have just created. There are a lot of them, and he felt a bit overwhelmed.
Still, he thinks this is fine. Unlike those giant beings, these ones are acceptable to make people more comfortable.
He didn't want another group of people to run away again. He still didn't know why the group from yesterday ran away from him.
"Anyway. Nice to meet you all. I am Neil Howard." He waves his hand at the group of machines, though he is feeling awkward at their gazes.
Their stare only stayed for awhile before all of them did their own way greeting. The Alientechs kneeled to the ground, the Xenogears saluted with their hands on their back, the Homunculi curtsied gracefully, and the two Supernova Units just nodded at him.
He felt a bit awkward, but he decided to gulp out his shame and talk to them.
["User. You don't have to worry, they will absolutely obey you."]
He didn't know why but Dinah sounds exasperated despite her robotic voice.
He still decided to explain to them why he bought them. He wanted the whole place to be secure and no hostiles to get inside even by chance. He also wanted the to explore the forest, so he will leave it to their discretion.
He told them not to kill humans if they meet one. He didn't want to become a murderer, even in an indirect way.
After telling them all of that, every units around obeyed him with their varied forms of confirmation. It ranges from kneeling, saluting, curtsying, and just nodding.
"Good. Thank you for helping me." He said while feeling a bit sheepish.
He can't help it. Even if they are robots or something artificial, they shaped like human. The Homunculi are the worst for him, as they look so beautiful.
He is not that shy to the opposite sex, but that doesn't mean he have met anyone as beautiful as these homunculi. Just seeing them is like meeting a school celebrity. It's just not the same as talking to his female friends.
"Okay. I will be going back to my room."
After he said that, every units within looks at each. They seem to be talking to each other in their own hidden communication channels. After awhile, they seem to have accepted whatever they talked about and have started moving.
The way their move feels scripted, like they already know where each should go. It's like a well-oiled cog as they move around in group, individually, and sometimes in pairs. Some goes to the building, others makes a line up and move on the perimeter, while others makes a group and go to the forest to explore.
While that is happening, he is just going open the door to his room when a Homunculus suddenly passes him by and opens the door for him.
"Please." The beautiful doll gestured for him with a graceful bow.
He is surprised. Even with his enhanced senses, he didn't sense the lady behind him.
Looking behind, he almost shrieks in fear when he saw a line up of homunculi standing on each side of the walls, giving him a bow of respect without any unnecessary movements.
'Goddamn... what is this, a freaking anime!?'
He can't help but think it like that as he saw these colorful array of beautiful girls lined up and bowing to him like he is some young master.
Some people might have been excited by that prospect, but for him, he didn't have a habit of seeing people being so respectful to him. It felt so strange when someone decided to do just that.
["Everything within my System is supreme!"]
Dinah seems to sound so proud, even when she is saying it with an emotionless voice. He felt like palming his face as he felt some headache.
'Ah... Systems are like this...' He thought, recalling some of the webnovels he read about something like this.
He decided to just accept it and not think to much. It will hurt his brain if he thinks about it for once more.
