Mao Clan Techniques
(author note: I will put every Mao clan technique mentioned in the series here)
[The Way of the Cat]: A fundamental technique the Mao clan made to support the learning and comprehension of the techniques the Mao clan developed, without learning it first the progress of learning the more advanced techniques will be very slow. The Way of the Cat technique enhances the users senses, perception, and agility to extraordinary levels.
1st stage: the user's five senses, perception, and agility is slightly enhanced.
2nd stage: the user's five senses, perception, and agility is greatly enhanced.
3rd stage: the user feels a lot closer to their cat spirit and their senses, perception, and agility can now be compared to a real cat. (only reachable when the spirit is awakened)
4th stage: the user feels a connection between himself and his cat spirit and has an aura that can only be seen on the wildest of cats. (current)
5th stage: the user and his cat spirit is one and the same, the user will be able to use spirit skills without materializing spirit rings, but their spirit power consumption will be three times as much.
[Shadow Cat Steps]: An advanced movement technique developed by the Mao clan, it is developed after observing the movement of many different kinds of cats focusing on speed. It will increase the agility, dexterity, flexibility, unpredictability and stealth ability of the user.
1st stage: the user's speed, flexibility, unpredictability and stealth ability is slighly enhanced but because of the lack of dexterity, the control of the user on their speed is not satisfactory.
2nd stage: the user's speed, flexibility, unpredictability and stealth is greatly enhanced, the dexterity of the user is also improve to enhance the user's control.
3rd stage: the user's speed, flexibility, unpredictability and stealth is unmatchable in the same level, and the dexterity of the user is greatly improved.
4th stage: opponents of the same level could never touch the user and the user's presence will never be discovered by enemies at the same level, but is still slightly flawed because of the user's dexterity. (only reachable when the fundamental technique reaches the 3rd stage)
5th stage: the user have perfect control of his body and his movements can never be followed by the naked eye. (current)
[Cat Imitation]: a spirit power circulation technique developed by Mao clan, by circulating energy in the body in a certain way, the user will develop certain parts of the body and imitating the special traits of cats. This martial technique doesn't have stages but the more times the user circulated spirit power according to the technique, the more evident the changes in the body is. Current Circulation: 200 .Max Circulation: 1000
Enhanced body parts:
1. Enhanced Sense of Smell - the user can taste what they smell, use their nose to identify enemies, remember people, and estimate the strength of someone.
2. Enhanced Speed - the user will be faster, and burst speed to cover short distances.
3. Enhanced Hearing - the user will be able to pinpoint anyone just by the noises they hear
4. Far-sighted focus - by sacrificing what the user see near, the user will have a farther sight though the more the user circulates this technique the more they will recover their near sight.
5. Abnormal Flexibility - the user will have a very flexible body.
6. Powerful Palm - the user will have more stregth in their palms.
Additional abilities(for only those who experienced a mutation in their body when they awaken. example: having cat ears, cat tail and many more)
7. Whiskers - sensing nearby changes through the changes in airflow, and to check if a person is still alive.
8. Balancing Tail - helps the user to balance themselves easier when doing sharp maneuvers.
[Cat battle style]: by imitating the way cats fight and making it their own, the Mao clan made a battle style focused on the speed, senses and flexibility of the user.
[Way of the Lion]: A fundamental technique the Mao clan made to support the learning and comprehension of the techniques the Mao clan developed, without learning it first the progress of learning the more advanced techniques will be very slow. The Way of the Lion technique enhances the user's strength, fierceness, and intent(can be whether battle intent or killing intent) to extraordinary levels.
1st stage: the user's strength is greatly enhanced and fierceness and intent is starting to form.
2nd stage: the user's strength will be unmatchable in the same level, and the user's fierceness is felt by people in the user's vicinity, the user's intent is also formed but cannot be controlled that well yet.
3rd stage: the user feels a lot closer to their strength based cat spirit and the user's strength and fierceness can be compared to a real lion. (only reachable when the spirit is awakened)
4th stage: the user feels a connection between himself and his strength based cat spirit and will exude an aura that can only be seen on the wildest of lions. (current)
5th stage: the user and his strength based cat spirit is one and the same, the user will be able to use spirit skills without materializing spirit rings, but their spirit power consumption will be three times as much.
[Lion's Pride]: An advanced movement technique developed by the Mao clan, it is developed after observing how lions carry themselves, and how they fight. It will increase the strength, fierceness, firmness, intent and intimidation.
1st stage: the user's strength, fierceness, and firmness is slightly enhanced stealth but because of the lack of intent, the user's intimidation is unsatisfactory.
2nd stage: the user's strength, fierceness, and firmness is greatly enhanced, the intent is also formed which also increases the intimidation he can instill to his enemies.
3rd stage: the user's strength, fierceness, and firmness is unmatchable in the same level, and the intent is also greatly increased and controlled, which greatly improves the intimidation the user can instill to his enemies..
4th stage: opponents of the same level could never break through the defense of the user, but because of insufficient intent, the intimidation can still be countered by the enemy. (only reachable when the fundamental technique reaches the 3rd stage)
5th stage: the user have unimaginable strength, defense and the user can now fully control his intimidation, enemies with higher levels will be demotivated to fight the user, and enemies with lower levels will be petrified once they felt his intimidation.
[Lion Wild Battle Style]: by imitating the way lions fight and making them their own ,the Mao clan made a battle style which focused on the user's strength, firmness, fierceness and intent to intimidate and demotivate opponents while overpowering them with the user's extraordinary strength, doing as little a movement as possible.
[Cat's Hidden Lethality]: a battle style based on hidden weapons which focuses on the user's unpredictability and timing, by throwing a hidden weapon at perfect timings the user will be able to surprise enemies and in the best case scenario break their momentum.
