Chapter 2: Natures Demon
King of Autumn: YOU'RE TELLING ME THERES A HIGH DEVIL IN THE FOREST?!
Kell: Yes my lord, my group and I were out on a mission when we encountered a high demon. It massacred half of us.
King of Autumn: WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THE AUTUMN TEAR?!
Kell: uh-
Markus: King… I recall turning around as we fled and saw… Angela, she pulled it out. Then she tried using it on the monstrosity.
…
King of Autumn: And..?
Markus: … It didn't work.
King: WHAAAAAT?!

It's been two sun rises since I fought those humans. Earth is a much more simple place than Hell. I've started to memorize the are surrounding my crash. I've learned the creatures here are small and weak. I've had to eat hundreds of animals. I have not seen any other humans. I guess the forest isn't very close to one of their settlements.
Something strange I've noticed however, is that every once in a while I'll find the remains of my meals with small green or blue crystals inside of them. They remind me of souls, but smaller and solid.
I've decided to name a couple of the most reoccurring animals I've seen. There was a decently sized creature with black fur and black claws. It's mouth was elongated from its face and had yellow teeth. I've called these "Black boar's"
We had boar's in Hell and while they are very different in shape their size and fur is very similar.
The next animal I've decided to name is an animal with brown hair covering their whole body except for the face, which looks almost human but with a little bit of a snout. In Hell there is a Grand Demon known as Monk, who resembles these creatures very closely. Aside from Monk having red skin and razor sharp quills on his back. Because of this I've decided to name them after him. I call them monkeys. They swing from vines in trees and from what I've seen, I don't think they have any magical abilities at all.
I've learned that despite my first thoughts, I have not grown in size, the wild life and humans are just smaller than most demons, like myself. I know this because my sword is the same size relative to me as before, despite my magic power being almost unchanged. Today something interesting happened. I found a civilization of devils. Earths equivalent of demons. While devils look close to any low rank demon, they are the size of humans if not, smaller. They also seem to be a lot weaker than the average demon. I have not approached their walls yet. I don't know how they would react to me. I'm just going to watch them. I think some have seen me, but I'm a far distance away so I probably just looked like a wandering devil. That was until I was attacked by a group of Black Boar's and it only took me two minutes to kill 7 out of the 8 of them. That caught the devil that saw me do it by surprise. I think they reported it to the rest of the devils.
A lot of them have come up to the walls and look over at the scene. I already left it though, I can still see them but I'm now on top of a tree looking down upon what looks to be, their village.
They have sent out armed devils with slightly bulkier bodies. I wonder if they plan to fight me.
Perhaps they think I'm an enemy devil planning to attack them. Of course these are all assumptions but by the fact that there is now ten armed devils out in the forest. They don't look very friendly.
I've decided to leave. I hastily swoop down using my flight skill, and leave the area.

Kell: The king has ordered us to bring a large troop of knights, to battle the devils, in the east. We have seen a high demon.
Everyone in the crowd gasps. In the small kingdom of Azaliac, a high demon is a threat big enough to call on holy knights. Anyone that is in the troop who kills it would have them and their family instantly become rich. Allowing their next generations to go work-free for almost a century. The danger it could bring is extremely high however. In the past the chance of surviving a battle with a high demon is only around 10%. The fact that Markus and me even have the ability to state we survived an encounter with one is incredible. We have been ordered with the king to go to the nearest devil village to kill it. I am a holy knight there is nothing that can stop me. I am still a little hesitant to engage it though. That evil beast must be slain though. If I do it, perhaps I'll even get a seat in the royal table. Hahaha. Forget Angelica and trove. I can simply buy slaves to replace them.

I have left the devils village. In the future I might want to join them. Becoming one of their guards would be exhilarating. Plus they remind me of home, despite how much I hated it, I would like to see it one last time.
It's been a week. 7 sunrises, since I fought that group of Black boar's. I've seen devils around so I've decided to try and make some sort of disguise. I could probably sneak in and see what their like. I hope they aren't as aggressive as they look.
I've got to get the resources to actually make one first though. In Hell I didn't have to make anything at all so this might be hard…
I've found some of the black boar corpses and it looks like they used some sort of animal hide. I should to. I cast my sword spell and start cutting the body's into sections. I'm not very experienced so it still looks like a wild beast did this, which might be a good thing. I only take the cleanest fur I can find, which is not much.
I think I've got the hang of this, I wash it in water then star rapping it around me. It doesn't look that good but it should pass as a devil's clothing.

Markus: I've found some soldiers willing to fight with us.
Kell: Me too, shall we go?
Markus:… yes, but we should get better equipment first Kell, we'll need it.
Kell: hahaha, you might need some, there's no dirty beast strong enough to kill me…
