Chapter 4: C4: A Goblin was Born

"Who's that?"

Bane got spooked out.

Never before had he heard such a repulsive voice. It was as if it left his whole body left tingling in disgust.

He wanted to turn around and get rid of such an existence.

But the question was would the just born body of his even allow him to turn around?

The answer was quite counterintuitive.

Bane raised his brows.

"Amazing ...Ggireuk"

Bane had assumed that his bones and body would have been soft as hell, but apparently he was mistaken. A new born goblin was much sturdier than a human despite being smaller in size.

And the word 'small' was perhaps a huge understatement.

If a human's arm was at the size of that of a log then his hands would probably be more closer to twigs. But despite that his skin was much more rugged and green and the small bones inside were quite sturdy.

With his small height and weak self, Bane couldn't do much but apparently moving around short distances wouldn't be a problem. But if something were to fall on his head while he was moving around then he would surely die, no questions asked.

But Bane had mixed feelings to all of this.

"Even if the body is convenient now... An average goblin would be of the strength of an average human adult... an untrained adult that is. What's the use in that? Even with their rugged bodies they could only do so much. Tch, weak monsters."

Bane was beginning to understand why he would be granted a rebirth like this.

"Tch, I am being thrown away or rather he is getting rid of me. So that he doesn't have to deal with me. Struck in a goblin's body I couldn't possibly pose any danger."

The veins on Bane's forehead popped up. These turn of events hadn't done him anything better instead his hatred for the dragon had only grown larger.

But how reasonable was all of this? Bane had never asked that question to himself.

If the dragon wanted to, he could have probably thrown him into a worse situation. There certainly were monsters much weaker than a goblin. Thus, his situation wasn't as bad but...

"Yo-You won't be able to get rid of me that easily." Bane gritted his teeth as he basked in his helplessness.

He was irate. He couldn't possibly think with a sane mind in such a situation.

He couldn't conclude that his situation was much better than it could have been.

And the depth of his grudge was deeper than any abyss.

The dragon caused him inexplainable suffering.

And when it felt that it couldn't deal with him anymore and Bane's existence was a nuisance, it took a swift step to get rid of him.

Surprisingly, he had faced this kind of situation before his death as well.

"He is just like those humans."

The humans who basked in jealousy and were drunk in power.

The humans consumed by greed and whose soul was ridden with dirt and filth.

The dragon despite not being a human was just like one of them.

For some reason the scenery of the goblins eating and raping women felt much more tame in comparison.

Was it perhaps that kinship that led to such a conclusion?

Rather wasn't it something they had to do to live?

Or else the humans were bound to wipe them out. They were just devouring the pain they had captured while betting on their lives.

Just where did the end of the tyranny of humans lied?

Ever since they were born in this world they had been curbing anything and everything to their taste.

"Destruction had became the second name associated with this race now."

Though Bane's own opinion had been heavily biased owing to his hatred to his former race, it wasn't too far off from reality. And at the end of the day, Bane had always adhered to it.

"Status Ggireuk!" Bane whispered to himself to check if he really had graduated from a retched race.

*End of Status*

"Hmm not bad for the status of an infant."

Bane chuckled. He had been much stronger than this before death. But he seemed to have lost all of it. He was not more than a twig now.

But something like this for the cost of reviving?

He felt that it wasn't that bad of exchange. It was just that his future opportunities might be limited because of his race and he was frustrated cause of it. But all of that anger was in the end directed towards the dragon.

"Ha Ha...Ack," it was that weird shrill voice again.

Bane's eyes widened.

He had heard it before. But he was so lost in checking out his newfound body that he had almost forgot about it.

But even amongst the cry of suffering from the women, he could clearly hear those distinctive moans of pain.

It was like he felt some form of deep connection to it despite the voice causing him to almost stand on his toes.

Bane turned around and it wasn't long before his eyes widened.

"Gross!"

Bane struck out his paw in an attempt to attack it. His whole body moved on instinct as if disgusted by the very existence!

But his paw could only do so much damage. He was attacking a full sized human here. What could an infant like him possibly do?

But as Bane struck the woman, Bane's eyes turned to her bulging belly.

"What? Could it be..."

There wasn't much reason why Bane attacked the woman behind him on instinct. Part of it was probably because he despised humans but mostly it was because her very existence was repulsive and broken beyond relief.

She had no arms on her. Close guess would be that the goblins had either eaten or pulled them apart while raping her just like the other humans in the fuck nest.

Her eyes were pale and lifeless... they had completely given up on life and didn't seem to recognize her surroundings.

She had a runny nose but it wasn't snot that was running rather it was crimson blood. Some of that blood had even clotted into a black mess.

But it would have been tame if it was just that.

She had injuries all over her body. The goblins had been merciless while raping her only to satisfy their own lust.

Flesh of hers were missing from here and there, her fats seemed to be torn apart to the point that one half of her breasts had gone missing.

"How could she be alive after all of this?"

Bane didn't know much about medics. Had he known, he would have realized that she wasn't brought to such a state in a single day. Rather it was prolonged through the months of being raped while keeping her alive.

But that wasn't what Bane was most concerned with.

Probably it was because of his change of race or perhaps his own hatred with humans... but he felt no pity towards her.

Her state was no different that the other women in the fuck nest. She was by no means any special.

What Bane was concerned was...

"It can't be..."

His pupils shook as he glanced towards the blood and piss he was currently swimming in.

And then he stared at the woman's eyes.

"So you were the prison all along?"

One might began to question his own mentality for calling his mother who gave birth to him as a prison, but that was how he saw the whole turn of events.

Being conscious even before he had been born, that was the only conclusion he was come up with.

"So I was wrong all along... wait doesn't that mean?"

Now all the pieces fit together and somehow he felt like he had figured out some great puzzle.

After all being reborn while being conscious of his surroundings wasn't an experience that someone could come in tabs with.

So not being able to figure out anything from inside was only a given. At that time he had concluded that it was the dragon trapping him. But technically he wasn't wrong either.

But now that he was outside it all made sense...

Bane was inside trapped in his mother's womb with a weak body that wasn't even that of an infant's. No wonder it was cramped considering that he had more brothers inside.

Those thrashing and wallowing that he had faced was probably goblins raping his mother again and again. And his weak and conscious body could hardly bear the pain.

All the while this woman had protected Bane inside of her from their assault.

"But even after all of this something didn't make sense."

Bane didn't know how but for some reason, Bane could feel his mother's emotions while he was inside of her womb. Perhaps it had something to do with childbirth and a shared connection between a mother and her son.

When he was inside, it was only initially but he had felt a deep-rooted grudge held onto by his mother.

But as time went by that grudge only grew duller and duller till it completely disappeared.

"Probably she gave up easily after being raped so much. Even if that's a theory, let's go along with that. But even that doesn't explains it."

It was true that she was mercilessly raped.

And it was also true that it was only natural for her to holding a grudge.

But shouldn't that **** be directed towards the goblins who raped her? Why was it directed towards the humans?

There were probably a lot of questions.

But Bane who was losing his humanity every passing day couldn't ask himself any of those questions. For he was quick to make an assessment based on experience.

"Perhaps she is someone like me? Ggireuk"

"Keuk Keuk"

It was Bane's first day before he was born in this world.

And yet from the get go, it didn't take him long to find someone with whom he shared a sense of comradeship. Someone who had gone through perhaps similar hardships like him.

"Perhaps that alone explains how despicable the humans are."
