Chapter 3: Finally someone to talk
Three days have passed since the Adventurers left, and nothing has happened since then. Tom was bored and couldn't change a thing, so he added a new Floor when something happened. He was just about to change the layout when a window popped up showing intruders. It was a mother and her child, but they had ripped and dirty clothes on. They had both red hair, fluffy ears, and foxtails.
"Mommy! Where are we? Why can't we just go back home?" The little girl asked, clinging to her mother's tail.
"I thought this would just be a cave, but this seems to be a dungeon. But we should be safe here for a while!" The mother replied, patting the girl's head to calm her down.
"But, but there are those green people and those round bouncy things!" The girl pointed at a group of slimes and goblins that came closer.
"Fufufu, don't worry Mio your Mommy is quite strong and slimes or goblins are no problem for me!" She said while making a bodybuilder pose.
'Don't touche the Milf... uhh the two! Just leave them alone!' Tom ordered his Monsters when he saw them getting closer.
"See, they ran away! They knew they wouldn't have a chance against me!" She proudly puffed her chest and pushed her hands in her hips.
Tom was wondering if he could get more DP if they would stay for a while. He observed them, and they don't seem like they will leave soon, so he placed a few things on this floor like a horn rabbit spawner, a hut, a spring, and a few fruit trees from the Decorations Tab. After that, he changed the third Floor into a Maze.
Then he thought about finally getting someone to talk to, so he looked through the Monster Tab.
-Dungeon Fairy: This cute little Fairy is something like the Dungeons Janitor. For 50 DP a week she will resummon dead monsters after they got defeated. Also good with nature-based magic.
-Vampire: Fast, Strong, Deadly!
-Succubus: This demonic beauty will lure you in like a moth to the light and then torture you to death. She is as deadly as she is beautiful.
-Doppelgänger: Good Assassin. Perfect Actor. It can take on any form and even copy skills to a certain degree.
-Dragon (Humanoid form): One of the strongest Races and good with magic. The perfect Boss Monster.
'Beside the Dungeon Fairy, they all cost more than a thousand DP. That is too much! Isn't there something cheaper?' Tom thought while scrolling through the list.
But then he changed his thoughts, his priority was to keep the dungeon safe, so he could not waste his points for a Demon Maid or something like that. So he clicked on the Dragon in human form which cost 2000 DP, leaving him with only 100 DP.
A Red-Haired woman in a tight red dress walked up and down on the third floor as if she was on patrol.
'A dragon is not the right thing for a maze, but i change that later.' Tom thought when he watched her finally arriving in the middle of the maze.
'Hmmm, the second floor is like always! Ok, let's look for the first floor.'
There was a group of goblins at a little creek fighting another group, it seems like a battle for territory because one group with self-made spears is trying to cross the creek. When a goblin with a spear managed to get over the creek it raised its spear and screamed in victory. The other group stopped fighting this one, so Tom thought it is a game or they are just training. Being happy with what he saw he looked for the fox mom and her child. When Tom finally found the Fox woman, she was on her way to the little hut with the few branches she had gathered. The girl was not far from away from the hut and collected some berries.
'Hmmm, but what should i do in the future? I don't really have a plan. Maybe there is a way to go back with magic, maybe I can open a portal and let an army of monsters slip through?' Tom thought, grinning as evil as a ball of light could.
Tom flew up to the maze and wanted to see the dragon he had summoned. The maze was creepy... It was so dark, and the walls were made out of big black rocks with a smooth surface; but the most disturbing was that it was quiet, no, it was absolute silence. With the help of the dungeon map, it did not take long for Tom to find the woman merrily humming a melody while she walked around a corner.
"Oh, Master, what a pleasant surprise!" The ruby-red-haired woman said when her yellow radiating eyes saw the small blue ball of light.
