Chapter 118: Chapter 40 : History Repeats itself
Just as Aliyeh and Shodai Kitetsu were about to clash a single finger came between them.
'huh!?!' Sanemi was confused as had put more than 30% of his strength in that strike. Both he and Vicci backed away as they finally saw the man who blocked their confrontation.
The man had long white hair, a clear sharp face, wine red eyes, and fair soft skin. His hair had a light touch of red as he spoke with a soft voice.
"oh my~ would you look at this," The man said as he glanced towards the broken chunk of Red Line.
"My perfect creation that should have lasted a few more eras destroyed already," The man said with sorrow.
"Alas, we can do nothing but cry over spoiled milk at this point" The man continued as let out a sigh.
"IM-sama?" Vincci asked in a confused tone as he himself has never seen IM's real face.
"So it seems Vincci. You and the other elders were not his matches despite the years of teachings I parted to you all" IM continued.
"You hold more potential than these old men. What do you say Sanemi? Would you like to become an elder instead? I would let you choose one other elder of choice as well" IM said as he approached Sanemi.
"I have no time for games IM. I am already tired of this world" Sanemi said as Enten appeared on his other hand and he face IM.
"A pity, In that case, we need to make sure to fight in a more quiet place," IM said as a white-colored orb formed over his finger.
"I did not take you to be a sympathetic type," Sanemi said with a smirk as relaxed for a moment.
"I am not" IM simply replied as the orb launched to the sky and split into multiple beams of light that aimed for everyone alive on the battlefield except for them.
Sanemi's eyes widened with surprise as the light beams reflected in his crimson eyes. In a burst of speed, he rushed towards his Heavenly Kings.
"Sheild up don't try to dodge!" Sanemi shouted as he approached Anne since she was the one with the least durability.
Over the years Sanemi had trained his Heavenly Kings to obey his commands regardless of the cause. The only exception to this was Ace and Marco the two newcomers to the Heavenly Kings.
Hearing the words of his captain Adam's body turned into flint as he covered himself with an additional layer of Aramaent Haki over it.
Duvalin too followed Adam's example and simply covered himself from head to toe in Armament haki to protect himself.
The commanders were too slow to react to the speed of the attack and Sanemi's commands so it was normal for them to unable to react. Lewin managed to cover his upper body with the strongest Armament haki he could muster.
Ace and Marco were rather confident in the abilities of their devil fruit so Marco just covered his chest with Armament haki and continued to charge towards Sengoku and Garp.
Sengoku and Garp's attention too was taken by Sanemi as they glanced towards the light beam.
Armament haki covered Sanemi's body and tentacles as he was ready to take the shot for Anne. Anne too was shocked by Sanemi's sudden appearance. Before she could muster her words.
"sacrificing yourself for your soldier? commendable" IM said as he appeared beside Sanemi and with the speed faster than Sanemi he kicked him away from the path of the beam.
All this happened so fast that others were unable to even register it. The beams passed through Sengoku, Garp, The Heavenly Kings, and the Commanders.
For seconds they did not even feel pain. In fact, it seemed everything was nice and normal but then suddenly darkness came in front of their eyes as they fell to the ground.
"wherever there is light...darkness will follow it. You should have learned it the first time I taught you the lesson" IM said as he stared coldly towards Sanemi.
"huff...huff...huff..." Sanemi let out heavy breaths as he clenched his fists in front of his chest. He slowly got up as his fists finally relaxed. His eyes were fixed towards IM.
'what is this' IM thought with pure shock at what he was seeing. Sanemi was standing there surrounded by deep eerie darkness despite the daylight.
'despite the distance, I can feel the darkness piercing me' IM thought he got further back to avoid the eerie feeling.
'It is not the power of a devil fruit, nor it is conqueror's haki. Just what in the world are you' IM thought as he pulled a katana with a silver-blue hue over its blade out of his sleeves.
At that moment Sanemi said something to IM. Something that sounded so real that these were no words this was a commitment.
"I will end this hell hole" Sanemi muttered as he unconsciously released a conqueror's burst.
"You can try," IM said as he mocked Sanemi and both of them charged towards each other. IM mustered multiple light blades with each of his swings to strike Sanemi.
The tentacles from Sanemi's back mixed and merged into a giant thick tail as he used it to tank the light blades. Multiple blades with eyes appeared over the surface of the tail as Sanemi used it as an extra weapon and smashed it towards IM.
A light shield appeared in front of IM as he backed away a little.
"you are strong but I am stronger," IM said as his arms and blade got covered in armament haki as he started to overpower Sanemi in speed and strength.
'OI King we can use that' Kazuha's voice came in Sanemi's head.
'We are already using the Bankai and Hollow mask' Sanemi responded as he had donned the hollow mask from the start but it was hidden using his system sub-function equipment.
'I know, however, we have a form that can make you stronger but you will have to give up something important to you' Sakuya's voice chimed in.
'Alright, what do I have to do?' Sanemi asked as on the outside he continued to black, parry and heal from IM's strikes.
'Believe in us and just resonate' Sakuya's voice rang in his head he made some distance against IM.
"Backing away?" IM asked
"hufffff" Sanemi took in a deep breath as he released a strong pressure in his surrounding. A light crimson hue covered his body as he got ready.
"Kagutsuchi" Sanemi muttered as he was engulfed in a huge crimson storm of reitsu.
'what is this? so many different and never seen abilities' IM thought to himself as he got his blade ready.
Sanemi emerged from the blazing inferno and his form had changed yet again. His outfit now consisted of a single, lose Kimono that exposed a bit of his chest. Another set of crimson scaled horns grew over his head his air turned into a similar hue.
"huuuuuf" Sanemi let out a breath as embers followed it as he then stared towards IM and in a burst of speed appeared beside him. "the show is up" Sanemi muttered as he punched IM.
Unable to react to Sanemi's speed IM was sent flying as he crashed into one of the few mountains of redline destroying it completely.
'What drastic increase in speed and strength no wonder the elders fell to him' IM thought to himself as his injuries healed in a blink of an eye. He stood right back up.
"you are getting my blood pumped as well you know" IM muttered with a small smile as used his blade to block another one of Sanemi's attacks as they both entered the zone.
Dark clouds gathered over Red Line as the lightning roared and rain started to pour down. Sanemi and IM continued to clash almost equally as neither seemed to get an upper hand.
"Burst!" Sanemi roared as he released a wave of golden flames.
"Let there be Light" IM chanted as he released a giant Lightblade to clash against Sanemi's flames.
Two opponents who are in equal strength zone were now clashing to decide the future of the entire planet. What would happen? who would win? find out in the next chapter which will never be released due to Tobi being a D*ck
