Chapter 7: Chapter 7 - The Information
The next day, Jun and Summer buried the body in the cemetery. They didn't know any information about Orone, so they just put his name.
"Summer, it's okay" Jun tried to cheer her up.
"It is?" She said.
Jun is silence.
He doesn't know anything else to say except "It's okay, Summer"
Jun gets up from the ground
"Let's stop thinking about it" Jun said "We got something else to do other than this" He throws a flower on Orone's grave.
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 1, CHAPTER 7, THE INFORMATION
CHINATOWN, IZUZUNU
Eungi and Melanie lives in Chinatown because of the nice style of building. A Chinese styled roof is like their taste of houses.
"I gotta say Eungi, who taught you how to build this good?" Jun smiles and asks.
"Oh I just copied the way Xiangwei made their houses, hahah" Eungi laughed.
"Xiangwei?" Jun asked.
"Oh.. right... Xiangwei is an empire on the other side of the world, Huampeisios. Huampeisios is a continent at the eastern part of the Kepkurian map and that's where Xiangwei is located" Eungi explained.
"Oh.. I see.. so are they-" Jun tried to speak, but "Aaaah!" A scream from one of the houses of the Druzels was heard.
"What the hell was that!?" Eungi got frightened.
Eungi and the rest runs to the druzel's house and opens the door "What's happening!?" Jun shouted.
He sees a druzel on the floor covered with blue and black auras except his face. His wife is standing there afraid of what is happening.
"What is going on!?" Jun shouted and asked one more time.
"I don't know!" The wife yelled back.
The man screams in pain. He stops and then asks Jun "Help me... please. Help me! Help me! Help me!! Help me!!!" He cried, raising his arms on the air for help.
All the blue auras covers up his face as the blue auras vanishes along with the man.
Jun and the rest are confused, except Eungi.
"What happened.. to my husband?" The wife was frightened as tears run down her face.
Eungi knows what's going on "The Kaimog Dragon" He looked up at the man's wife "I'm sorry"
They all looked back at the floor "He's gone" Eungi said.
The wife cries, tears falling and dripping from her chin. She falls to the ground, traumatized at what she has witnessed.
"That was the Kaimog Dragon... taking your husband's life.. and fusing it with his for immortality" Eungi explained.
"This has been going on for centuries. It just... never occurred to us" Eungi explains once again.
Jun walks out of the house with his fists, looking like he's about to hit someone. He punches the walls of a druzel's house.
"I'm done with this.. Kaimog Dragon bullshit" Jun said.
Eungi reaches Jun and asked "What are you doing?"
Jun looked at Eungi with an angry face "I'm gonna go kill the Kaimog Dragon"
MAINLAND, IZUZUNU
Mikey is just walking around the town, looking at buildings to buildings. He stops at the Izu Bridge and sees a girl at the distance "Oh, not this again!"
Every time someone appears at the Bridge, it means new members or more people that wanted to try the barbecued ribs.
"Here for the barbecued ribs?" Mikey asked as the girl walks closer.
"No.. I woke up yesterday in the middle of nowhere" She explained.
Chloe comes out of nowhere "What? Another human?" Chloe questions.
"Yes" Mikey said.
They bring her in to join Izuzunu "Here, a free shelter for you to live in" Mikey surprises her.
"Thank you" She smiled.
"I'm Chloe.. and this is punk" Chloe jokes.
"What!? No! I'm Mikey!" Mikey shuts her up.
"Haha" She laughs "I'm Kayla Thao" she said.
"Kayla? That's a beautiful name" Chloe said.
"Thank you" Kayla replied.
"Well, I got you some stuff if you'd like some" Chloe offered "Yeah sure" Kayla gladly takes her clothes.
Mikey spots Jun walking around with Eungi, George, Kyle, Edison, Coen, Collin, Tidus, Summer, and Melanie.
"Hm?" Mikey walks away from Kayla and Chloe and goes to Jun and the rest.
"What's happening? It's been a long time since all the humans have been together in a group" Mikey asked.
"We're planning something Jun wants to do" George answered.
"It's not something I want to do" Jun said "I have to do it"
"Do what exactly?" Mikey asked.
Jun looks up at all the members and then Mikey "Kill the Dragon"
"So that's why you brought all of us together" Coen and the rest realized "Sorry... but today's my last day" Coen said.
"Wait, You're leaving?" Kyle asked.
"Yes, my king needs me to continue my mission. I said I only could stay for a few days but stayed for over 30" Coen scratches his head "Heheh"
"Well, at least help us find the ingredients we need to make the- the-.. um"
"books" Eungi answered.
"Yes! The books of kaimog!" Kyle said.
"Yeah sure, I could do that" Coen said.
Jun walks away on his own "You can go back.. We don't need you"
"Oh... no I'm good, I'll stay and help you guys find the four books of kaimog" Coen replied back.
"But we don't need you" Jun says.
"Actually we do" Eungi says "The more people we have, the more faster we can get this over with... and the more people, the more power we have to fight and protect one another"
Jun looked disappointed, but they couldn't see his face because his back was facing their view.
"Fine" Jun says as he slowly walks away.
Kyle shrugs "I don't know what's wrong with him" as he follows Jun.
JUN'S HOUSE
Eungi slaps down a huge map of the world onto the table and starts making the plan.
"Alright, so we know that kaimogs are the brutes that runs super fast and stuff, but, they are the protectors of a castle, a large one. It lies in the nation of Illyeo right by the Lake Uhato. The Kaimog Castle. No one visits it or anything, because it is the most deadliest town filled with the kaimogs. It lies one of the books.. or possibly two" Eungi explained.
"What else?" Edison asked.
"and then you'll need to go to the poxus dimension and enter the castle and take out all of the brutes inside it. Kill the guards and bust through the door and you'll find the book inside the guarded door in a basement"
"Alright" They all said.
"Also, there is another castle in the poxus dimension.. I think from our portal in the cave, when we enter and head east, there should be another castle where the third book is located" Eungi says.
"Wait, how do you know all these stuff?" Kyle asked.
"They're all theories" Eungi answered.
"What?" Kyle asked.
"We're all going by theories?? What if they aren't true!" Edison shouted.
"Don't worry.. we had ancestors that went through this and died" Eungi says.
A few minutes after planning, Eungi finishes his last sentence "Don't.. die!" Eungi warns them.
"Well, if we're planning on not dying, we need a team" Jun said.
Jun looked at the corner of the room, where Coen was at.
"I got just the right people" Chloe says as she opens the door to Jun's room.
"What the-! You were here the whole time!?" George shouted.
"It's good... we have more people now" Eungi says.
IZUZUNU BORDER
Eungi plans the teams "Alright, Jun's team, Jun, Coen, and Summer"
"Alright!" Coen and Summer agrees.
"I'm stuck with this guy again" Jun looked disappointed as he whispered. Coen manages to hear Jun saying that.
"Okay, my team, Eungi, Kyle, and Edison"
"Let's go!" Kyle and Edison hand shakes.
"Okay, Team Chloe, Chloe, George, and Mikey" "Oh Come on! Chloe!?" George shouted.
"Shut up, kid!" Chloe shouted back.
"Careful there, alright last team, Tidus and Collin" Eungi finishes.
"Wait what? Just the two of us?" Tidus asked.
"Well Melanie can't go.. she's only eight" Eungi said.
"What? Let me go, please!" Melanie pleases him.
"Melanie, I'm sorry, but we can't manage to lose another person after this-" Eungi is silenced by Kayla.
"I'll go with her.. I'll take care of her in Tidus's team" Kayla says.
"Are you sure?" Eungi asked.
"Yes, I will protect her with my life" She says.
It took Eungi a few seconds to answer "Fine" Eungi said.
"Yay!" Melanie is happy.
"Alright! Jun's team! Go to the second castle in the poxus dimension! My team! We will go through the huge castle filled with kaimogs! Chloe's team! You guys go to the other poxus castle and get the book! Last one! Tidus's team! You guys will go to the underground city, it lies the last book" Eungi made their plans.
"Alright, Eungi!" All of the members shouted.
Jun smiles "This is our time to shine... our time to finally avenge all of the ones who lost their lives from the kaimog dragon" Jun says in his head.
"Alright... let's go!" Jun shouted out loud as everyone runs to where they have to go.
OUTSIDE THE FIRST KAIMOG CASTLE, 4 DAYS LATER
"Alright... let's sneak in carefully" Eungi said out.
The team runs through the forest, bush to bush. They look at the huge castle and began making a plan.
"What's the plan?" Kyle asked.
"Alright so we'll be-" Eungi stopped to the sounds of Edison drinking water.
"What the hell bro!" Eungi yelled quietly.
Edison yelled back "What!? I can't drink water!?"
Kyle grabs the bottle from Edison and tried drinking it. Edison drank all the water "You drank all the water!"
They started hitting each other.
"Guys! Stop! We'll never make it inside if you guys won't stop arguing! Now listen to the plan!" Eungi yelled out.
Soon Eungi ducks as everyone else joins in too. The guards heard the sounds of Eungi's screams.
"Alright so... we'll sneak in there through that carriage right there" Eungi says.
They all sneakily run towards the moving carriage and got under it. The carriage moves closer and closer to the entrance of the castle.
Some kalkruts inspected the carriage to see if there are any enemies in it. They didn't check under the carriage so they let him in.
They got into the castle successfully. Eungi and the rest jumps inside the carriage to find some paint. They open the light blue paint and Eungi gets an idea "I know!" He said quietly.
"We have to camouflage"
THE FIRST POXUS CASTLE, 4 DAYS EARLIER
George and Chloe follows Mikey to the walls of the poxus castle and knock some poxians off the wall.
They hid behind another wall "Okay, there's gonna be a lot of guards after we turn around this wall. Be ready" Mikey says.
"Who made you leader?" Chloe asks.
"I know the way around this castle, so it makes me the leader of this squad" Mikey explained.
"Yeah Chloe, don't speak to the leader like that, bro" George says, pulling out his diamond sword.
"Whatever" Chloe says.
"Okay, when I say 3, we all go run to the guards and kill every single one of them" Mikey commanded.
"Alright, you guys ready?" George asked.
"Yes" They both answered.
"1... 2... 3!" Mikey shouted as loud as he can as they all run from the walls to the poxians.
"Hah!" They all yelled out loud as they kill the guards in the castle.
They all jump off the walls and into the castle territory. They run through the castle and enters inside the castle, looking for the basement.
"On your left, Mikey!" Chloe shouts.
"I got this Chloe" Mikey says.
"I doubt that" Chloe replied.
Mikey then manages to dodge the swords behind him.
"Chloe! I could've died!" Mikey shouts at Chloe.
"I thought you got it"
"Guys stop, we're here.. the door to the basement" George says.
SECOND POXUS CASTLE, 1 DAY LATER
"I got this" Summer says as she walks through her own pathways.
They don't know the map of the castle so they are going to have to split up. The castle was empty, not filled with any brutes.
Jun gets stuck with Coen again, but soon Coen starts a conversation.
Jun tried walking away, but Coen stops Jun by speaking out "Jun" He said.
"Why do you hate me so much?" Coen asks, Jun turning around.
"Leave me alone, walk your own path" Jun tried walking away again.
Coen grabs Jun's shoulders "What did I do to make you hate me!?" He asked again.
"I don't hate you" Jun turned away with an irritated face "It's just that... I don't know"
Coen spoke out "What do you mean?"
"It's just that.. you tried killing me and now you think everything's fine just because you took me home and wrapped a few bandages on me" Jun says.
"I-.. I thought you were okay after that" Coen says.
"Well, I wasn't.. You didn't even apologized afterwards" Jun walks away and began mining, Coen standing there frozen.
