Chapter 38: Chapter 38 - Oshir and the Departure
"Grand opening!! SukiSushi!" Chloe shouted out loud as she caught some people's attention. "Woah! So that was what that building was for!" A little boy shouted.
"I want to try SukiSushi!" "Me too!" "I want some!" They all screamed out.
The restaurant was packed with many people. Mikey and George take the order, as Chloe, Evelyn, and Lilly cook the Sushi. Chloe, Evelyn, and Lilly accidentally discovered Sushi while exploring out in the wilderness.
They found a nearby town with a restaurant called "Matsuri's Seafood" and it was filled with plenty of people. She cooks and makes something called "Sushi" and everyone seems to enjoy it.
So Chloe and the rest ask Matsuri if she would like to teach them how to make it.
Matsuri said "Sure"
So they went into the kitchen and started making it.
To this day, Chloe and the rest are so proud of knowing how to make sushi, because everyone loved it back in Izuzunu too. Edison manages to work there too. But not really there, he just goes out fishing and catches salmon and tuna for the sushi recipe. "Sushi" Chloe smiled, looking like a fatty.
JUN'S HOUSE
"Wake up" "Wake up" "Wake up!!"
Jun quickly wakes up. His head began to hurt as he held it with his hands.
"I feel like... puking!" Jun gets off his bed and runs to his bathroom. All you could hear was throw-up noises.
"Oh... god," Helena says. Jun sat on his bed "I think... I drunk too much" He says.
"Don't worry, we all do that" She laughed. "What..." Jun suddenly remembers his visions.
Jun didn't understand what those dreams meant. Why is he dreaming about Mikey and George?
"The airship is here!!" "Williams is coming to get us!" "Go to a safe spot and hide!" "World War..."
Jun's eyes widened as he clenched his teeth in fear.
"What.." He said out loud.
"What? What's wrong?" Helena asked as she looked at Jun's fearful face.
"I-... I don't know... for some reason... I'm just... really scared right now... these dreams I've been having.. I don't get it... are these reasons why I can't remember anything?" He asked.
"I don't know" Helena answered. He calmed down a bit and remembered. Jun gets up from his bed "Today's the day" Jun said as he walked out of his room and into the basement.
"What's today?" She asked. "Today me and Xuanyu and a couple of his friends are going to fight... the oshir"
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 4, CHAPTER 38, OSHIR AND THE DEPARTURE
MAINLAND, IZUZUNU
"What are we gonna eat for dinner?" 07 asked. "I don't know" Nugget answered.
They stood there leaning on the portal in silence. "Ah!!" Jun runs through the portal with Xuanyu screaming.
"What the freak!" Nugget and 07 screamed out. Xuanyu helped Jun up "We got it!" They breathed heavily "We got the revival stick we needed!!"
"Alright, where are we going to fight it?" Nugget asks. "Yeah, uhm... follow me" Jun heads back inside the portal. "Bruh, did he just go back in," Xuanyu said.
Later, they spot Mark and Phoenix talking to each other in front of Mark's house. They're out of the poxus dimension.
"Hey Mark!" Jun shouted. "We're going to fight the oshir today! Wish us luck!" 07 exclaimed.
"Oh, it's pretty easy, I've killed the oshir six times already" Mark smiled.
"Oh... okay... wish us luck, goodbye" Jun leaves the crowd, not impressed at all. "Goodbye," Xuanyu laughs and takes the rest of the squad with him. "Okay, have fun," Mark said.
Around thirty minutes later, they finally crossed the desert and made it to the plains area.
"Alright, I'm going to summon it now!" Jun shouted as he created a circle using the black sands. He runs behind a tree and lights a match on fire.
"Any last words? This will be the fight of your lives" Jun says. 07 and Nugget smiled "No need"
Xuanyu joins along "Yeah, we will live"
"Then let's do it!" Jun laughed as he threw the match into the circle, lighting up the sand in flames.
Jun runs back to Xuanyu and the rest.
The light shines brighter and brighter until it explodes and the oshir rushes through the circle and into the sky.
"Fire your arrows!!" Xuanyu shouted as they began shooting their arrows. The sky was raining fire arrows as Nugget managed to hit it. The oshir turns around and starts flying to Nugget.
"Oh shoot! It's going after me!" the oshir chases after Nugget and tries to take a bite out of Nugget.
"Alright! You- you distract-" Jun couldn't finish his sentence. "Run!! Ah!!" Nugget yelled as he was in danger. "Nugget!" 07 shouted and chased after the oshir.
The rest follows. The sky was raining arrows as Nugget dodged every one of the oshir's fireballs.
Out of nowhere, Xuanyu pulled out his mechanical wings and began flying toward the oshir "I got you Nugget!!" He shouted.
Jun quickly stops shooting "What the!? Where the hell-!?" Jun shouted, surprised.
Xuanyu manages to slice one of its wings off as it screams in agony. Nugget quickly goes into a cave as the oshir becomes confused.
"Yeah, Nugget! Just stay in there!" Jun yelled. 07 continued shooting his arrows at it and Xuanyu kept flying toward it, damaging it with his sword. The oshir switched its target to Xuanyu as it regenerated its wings and started flying to him.
"Xuanyu! Fly!" Jun yelled as Xuanyu flew away "Oh my god!" Xuanyu shouted.
"It can regenerate!?" Jun shouted in his head. "It can regenerate!?" 07 shouted out loud.
"Yeah! You have to kill it before it regenerates again!" Nugget shouted, "Aim for the head!"
The oshir then stops and faces Jun's direction. "What... why is it looking at me?" Jun stood there.
The oshir flies towards Jun "What the hell!?" Jun sprints as fast as he can through the grasslands "Shoot the oshir, hurry!!" Jun yelled.
Nugget came back out and continued shooting it. Xuanyu from the sky comes down and slices its wing off and then goes back for another one. The oshir screamed in pain as it switched its target to Xuanyu.
The oshir is too late, as Xuanyu slices its head off, the oshir falls to the ground and finally dies. "Woah" Jun exclaimed.
They all met up at the oshir's body and looked at the oshir's body "It stinks" Jun said. "What are we gonna do with the body?" 07 asked.
"Uhh... maybe we should just leave it here, our town isn't even near this place" Jun suggested. "Really?" They asked.
"Yeah," Jun replied. "Thank you, we don't have to clean it, let's go" Xuanyu and the rest began walking away.
Jun stood there thinking about the dream he had this morning. "Let's get back home, it's dark" Xuanyu began walking in the direction of Izuzunu.
Everyone follows along with Xuanyu. 07 looks at his bow "Dang... this bow was super strong"
"Hey, you think you can make us that mechanical wings too?" Nugget asked Xuanyu. "Oh... yeah sure, but it's gonna take some time" He answered. Jun still stood there, thinking about his dream.
THE ELECTION STAGE
"We have an announcement to make" Xuanyu shouted into the microphone as all of the citizens looked at the stage.
Jun walks up to the microphone "He's back!?" "How is he!?" The crowd shouted.
"Shut up!!" Jun yelled into the mic "Shut up... I'm sick and tired of this"
The whole crowd was silent.
A man then screams out to Jun "Tired of what!? Calling you a murderer!? I guess we could call you something else, like... the brutes!"
The whole crowd begins chanting "You brute!"
Jun looks at everyone and throws his knife down near someone's feet. "Aaah!" The woman screamed as Jun jumped down on the ground.
He looks at everyone "I tried to protect this country, you know... I know you wouldn't have the skills to kill your best friend too!! Look! Now! Look at everyone in this room!! Imagine having to kill someone important to you!! Believe me, you don't know how it feels!!" Jun screamed out loud as his armor glowed red.
Everyone looked at their family members and their friends. Their brothers, their sisters. He breathes heavily as he falls to his knees.
"You don't know... you don't understand how I feel" Jun said. He begins to cry a little as he covers his face on the ground.
"Being called a murderer every day, even though it wasn't my fault that your friends died, it was Moises's. He was the reason why your friends died! I didn't do anything!! You know what I did!!? I stood there!! Like the rest of y'all pussies!! Everywhere I looked, I see everyone either standing or running away like a pussy!! So what different am I to you, huh!!? Shut the fuck up! And accusing me of killing your family members too, don't fucking lie!!!"
His armor began shining into their eyes as it became bright red and orange.
Everyone screams. Mark runs to go check what's happening and sees Jun on the floor with red auras surrounding him.
"What is-" He realizes it was probably the spellbind Xuanyu gave him.
The fire spellbind. Once the armor feels the person feeling down or mad, it glows red, and once he lets all the anger out, fire will consume him and make him powerful.
But Mark didn't consider stopping Jun, he just watched as Jun talked to all the citizens.
"You're right... I wouldn't know how it would feel if I were to kill my sister too" A girl spoke out.
A man in the distance spoke too "I stood there, watching my family die... I had all my set of metal armor on, but I didn't help them because I was too afraid"
Jun looks up at everyone.
They all looked gloomy. What were they sad about? Don't they hate Jun?
"I apologize for my actions" The man kneeled. "What? Why are you apologizing to a monster like me?" Jun asked.
"You're not a monster," The man says as he tries to change his mind about Jun "I was just... scared... that's why I called you all those terrible things... I listened to the citizens without listening to your stories"
"Me too" The man from the other day approached with bandages all over his face "I'm sorry too"
Almost everyone on the stage grounds felt bad about Jun. They felt bad for calling him names and not knowing how he felt. Soon Jun's armor goes back to normal. Almost everyone gathered around Jun to apologize.
The ones who didn't speak up "Why?... Why are you talking with a murderer!!" She attacks the man as he falls to the ground.
"What the!?" Jun shouted as the woman began running up the election stage and tried to stab Jun with a knife "Aah!!" Jun blocks as she pushes harder, but Jun quickly throws her to the election wall.
"That murderer!! Get away from him!!" A man called out as he ran straight to Jun. "I could kill you right now if I wanted to... but I'm too afraid to," Jun said as he jumped off the stage and to the ground.
The man charges toward Jun "Kill me if you can" The man pulls out the knife as Jun kicks his head. He falls to the ground.
"Why is... everyone trying to kill me???" He said in his head.
Jun picks him up by the hair and beats the crap out of him. He punches, kicks, elbows, and even throws him.
"Enough" Mark kicks Jun as he flies through the paths.
"Anyone who feels bad for Jun, go on the right side" Mark pointed "And everyone who doesn't care about Jun, stand on the left side" They all took the command and began moving.
"Sixty-seven people are on Jun's side.. as for ninety-four still think Jun's the cause of the damn war," Mark says.
Jun stood on top of the election stage with Xuanyu. "Should I end this? Right now?" Jun asks Xuanyu. "What do you mean?" He questions back.
"Should I kill everyone?" Jun looked depressed.
"Are you crazy!? What are you talking about!?" Xuanyu yelled quietly. "I'm tired... I want this to end already" He says. "If you don't like me... then why stay in my country?" Jun spoke.
"Go home. rest... president's orders" Xuanyu tries to pat Jun on the back.
Jun pushes his hands away and backs off "I have more power than you... I'm the emperor of Izuzunu" Jun leaves the election stage with a depressing look.
Everybody watches as Jun leaves for his house. "Emperor?" Xuanyu questioned.
Jun's house was still filled with trash and paintings on the walls that the citizens wrote on. The front yard was a mess except for the inside though. Jun sat on his dining table "God's Kingdom"
He repeated "God's Kingdom! I'm gonna make... God's Kingdom!"
NEXT DAY, SUKISUSHI RESTAURANT
The door opens as Chloe welcomes them to the restaurant "Welcome!" Her smile soon became a terrified face.
There stood three men, with black and gray clothes on, a teared-up cape on the back of them, and... a mask on... It was the guys from back then. They've been watching... the whole time.
"A table for three please" The man smiles behind the mask. "Oh, sorry, my mask was on" He took off the mask and there stood a boy.
He looked young... maybe in his 16s? "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you or anything. This is my friends, Leo and Moon, and my name is Toast" He laughed off. A druzel with green hair and green eyes.
Leo and Moon take off their masks and smile back at everyone. Leo and Moon both had blue hair and red eyes.
"Oh... thank god" Chloe smiled "Right this way sir," She said. Evelyn and Lilly were terrified too.
"So... what would you like to order?" She asks. "Give me your best meal," Toast says.
"Coming soon!" She sped to the kitchen and closed the doors.
Toast then faces Moon and Leo "So... what's the plan? We kill everyone right now? Or we kill them later?" He asked.
"I got a better idea. We kill them if the food tastes bad, and we don't kill them until maybe another month or so if the food tastes delicious!" Moon explained, but quietly.
"That's a good plan" Toast agreed. Along with Leo "I'm fine with anything, I'm just hungry" His stomach growls.
After a few minutes, the sushi finally arrives "Woah!! It looks so good!!" Toast exclaimed. "I'll take my first bite!" Leo grabbed the sushi with his hands and shoved it in his mouth. He then cries out "It's... it's... it's delicious!!"
"Wait really!? Hold on!" Toast grabs the sushi with his hands too and tries it "Oh my god!"
Moon takes a bite too "Oh yeah, it's good, I'm just not a big fan of fish" He says. "This is like the best thing I've ever tasted, I was also nervous about the raw fish, but it's... delicious!" Toast exclaimed.
"I guess we're not killing them," Moon says in his head.
After that moment, Toast and the rest are ready to leave "I'll come back soon! I promise! That sushi was good!" He smiled and waved and also ran away with his squad.
Chloe closes the shop as Mikey points at the wedding palace at the east of Izuzunu "Mark is ready to leave"
Everyone runs to the wedding palace and sees Mark waving Angie goodbye.
"What's happening?" Chloe asks. "Mark... he got his memories back... and he and Edison are going to go back to his hometown... Kujukaeya" Jun explained.
"So... you're gonna head east?" Jun asked. "Yeah... I remember everything... " Mark explained. "I see," Jun said.
Everyone hugged Mark goodbye as he looked into the sunset with Jun for the last time. "This is great... we should do this more often... drinking sodizu... and enjoying the sunset" Mark smiled.
Jun smiles back "Yeah... let's hope you get to meet your family again"
"Yeah" Mark gets up from the ground "My family... were kidnapped from the Usagians, so I'm gonna go to Kujukaeya first, and then possibly Usagi"
Jun then realized "You sure you don't need any of our help? That seems like a whole mission"
"No" Mark answered. "But.. Kujukaeya is on the south side of the world, you're gonna be walking a ton," Jun said.
"It's okay, I mean it. Protect your country" Mark said. Jun replied "I-... okay"
"I think it's time to leave" Mark throws a helmet at Edison as he is talking to Evelyn. Edison puts on his helmet.
"This is it... I guess I'll see you soon, Jun" Mark says to Jun.
"Yeah... I'll see you soon too, Mark" Jun says as Mark turns and starts walking through the paths out of Izuzunu as the sun sets behind them.
Edison waved goodbye and Mark looked as strong as ever.
"We've all grown up... we're not weak anymore... I'm not weak anymore..." Jun spoke.
"We were all not weak" Xuanyu pats Jun's back "We're discovering our strength"
Jun smiles as he watches Mark and Edison leave. They get farther and farther and farther away as the sun goes down.
"Well... I'm going to bed... I'll see you around Jun" Xuanyu leaves the crowd as the rest leave too. Jun stood there with a smile on his face "I'll see you soon... Mark and Edison!!"
