However, as he dug deeper, he became suspicious of the travel agency that was responsible for the trip. Despite having only started a month ago, it had amassed over a thousand glowing reviews, which seemed too good to be true. 

Despite the suspicion, Leandre sent a message to Clary. [Enforcers: Her parents might have lodged a complaint by now if something had happened, but I don't see any such until now. She is probably just sick or resting after the trip. Don't get worked up. But if she is a no-show at College tomorrow, I will investigate]

Leandre assumed that Clary might have hit the bed since he took the time to respond, but her immediate response proved him wrong.
