<Shin P.O.V>
The massive creature almost bigger than me slowly swam in a serpentine pattern.
It got closer and closer with each and every single one of its eyes studying and observing me.
It was very tense to say the least.
Even when your also a massive monster of death and destruction.. or on your way to become one, coming face to face with something like this can make you shiver at the thought of what it will do to you if you don't react.
'Reminds me of that time I came across a wild coyote.' Shin thought to himself with a sudden idea.
In a way the coyote and this creature acted very similar.
Yes the creature was huge and had tentacles all over while swimming, but if Shin is right then this creature is no different from an animal trying to survive.
It seemed to be trying to assess wether I was a threat or not depending on my energy and features of my body.
Like a mongoose watching a cobra getting ready to pounce.
Shin studied the creature too.
There was a weird distorting energy surrounding the massive monster that made him get a strange headache by just focusing on it.
The creature kept getting closer and closer before his system interrupted for some news.

'A bit late for that don't you think system?'

Shin slightly chuckled when he didn't hear a response.
In a way the system was kind of like his old friend..
He still felt angry for being killed by some stupid lightning that was triggered by that jewel of whatever.
While he was thankful for the old man, he still was a bit depressed.
He had ability in his sight to get home but the journey was across treacherous and deadly lands with multiple objects standing in his path.
This creature was just one of them..

Shin gritted his sharp massive teeth making a sharp screeching sound like chalk on a board.
He wasn't sure if he was strong enough to kill this abnormal creature but then again he wasn't sure if this creature could kill him.
Maybe it was an even match of a Creature of Time and Spacial Disruption against a Monster of Death and Destruction.
Shin readied himself and felt his energy pulse throughout his body making his body, tail, spikes, and mouth glow a bright red before turning into a purplish green color.
The creature, seeing shin ready themselves for battle, also prepared themselves.
Each massive slimy tentacle hit each other trying to form behind the creatures head.
Shin could see massive tentacles coming from the dark blue of the ocean behind the creature making a huge wall or tentacles likely as a defense strategy to scare away their opponent.
While it may be very intimidating to shin, he wasn't scared, but instead he was hungry for a battle.
Opening his mouth while feeling his lower jaw split open, he fired an atomic beam at the creature, the water around it boiled to over a thousand degrees.
The spiral of energy hit its target but instead of taking damage it bounce off and continued to fire in a different direction.
Shin immediately noticed this and stopped his attack.
The creature grinned an evil smile full of teeth as if it was sneering at his failed attempt to hurt them.
Slightly ticked off, shin tried to find a way to penetrate the creatures armor but he soon found an answer to that.
Looking very closely he could see the creature was covered in vibrating waves like sound waves.
'But how do sound waves deflect my beam?'
Maybe he was missing something.
Were they not sound waves? We're they magnetic waves? But that wouldn't make much sense..
Looking more closely he could see the creature taking in water as if breathing and when it did the vibrating waves moved with its body and when making growls or roars the waves would fluctuate more violently.
Shin formed an idea and decided to test it out.
He gathered up remaining oxygen from the water into his chest taking in as much as he could.
His chest began to swell getting bigger and bigger with his chest spike bulging out.
Feeling heavier and heavier, he finally couldn't hold anymore air and let it all out as hard as he could.
*SCHKREEEEEEEEEEOOONKKK*
The waves rippled extremely violently that even made water move out of place at the sudden roar.
Shin could feel his own mouth start to bleed as well as his very little holes on his head that act as ears start to bleed.
The roar could be estimated to be over five thousand decibels sounding louder than a literal nuke going off.
The creature was stunned, literally, at the roar as it disabled its vibrating field and overtook their entire body paralyzing them.
It's body was pushed back as the roar kept moving it away before it stopped.
Shin felt his throat choke and become very dry as well as soar.
He felt his entire body ache from how hard he let out the piercing roar.
With a mouth filled with boiling red blood tasting like metal, some broken teeth, and popped ears, shin looked at the creature before him and saw it paralyzed.
Shin slowly swam forward feeling his regeneration ability kick in making him feel better while the creature wasn't doing to well.
As he got close he saw the creature try to swim away with its massive tentacles sprawled everywhere in every direction making it seem like he was in a jellyfishes stingers.
Biting off tentacles that floated into his face, which tasted actually quite good, he finally made it to the creatures head and saw all of its eyes on him.
It creepy to say the least as the creature tried to move away or use its tentacles to wrap shin and squeeze him but they only floated towards shin and bounced of him like noodles.
Shin wasn't sure what to do at this point.
Earlier he felt the urge to kill it and fulfill the quest then continue his journey but now he felt a bit bad.
Sure if it wasn't paralyzed it'd probably kill him in a heartbeat.
Every single one of the creatures eyes begged one thing… mercy.
Shin was focused on the biggest eye of the bunch that glowed a golden color while the rest were red and blue.
He wasn't sure what to do with it.. all those skeletal bodies he saw days before and the blood.. this creature could've killed those beings in cold blood, but how would he know.
'Why not form a contract of sorts with it?'
Shin heard Azazoth's voice in the back of his head still sounding like a little girl.
'A contract?' Shin asked puzzled at her suggestion.
'Yes it is when two beings form a type of bond and they can share each other's power and energy, although since you'll be the maker of the contract you'll get more power and authority over them.' Azazoth said before going by silent.
The water was still rippling like crazy from shins roar but it was slowly going down making the area around the two massive creatures become a bit more peaceful.. and the creature more able to move it body..
'I'll do it then.'
Shin looked to the creature and before he could try and communicate with it a massive tentacle swiped across shins face knocking him away slightly.
The creature growled and moved as many of its tentacles as it could to wrap around shin.
Large and small, medium and long.. the size didn't matter as each and every single one wrapped around shin and squeezed as hard as they could.
Shin felt the pressure around him increasing before a large tentacle wrapped around his neck closing off his gills and then wrapping around his snout shutting his mouth closed.
With pressure increasing and shin running out of oxygen he tried to bite and scratch at the tentacles but his limbs were subjugated and bound.
'Damnit, I'm such an idi-'
Before thinking any further shin felt something pierce his stomach.
A bunch of very sharp ended tentacles glowing a red hue pierced shins body countless times as blood seeped through gaps in the tentacles.
…356 Hp lost…
…1,372 Hp lost….
….3,058 Hp lost…
Shin heard the system continue announcing that his Hp was getting lower and lower.
Since evolving shin hadn't once checking his new powers, skills, or stats.. not once!
He couldn't tell how much Hp he even has currently but the one thing he knew is that it was getting lower by the second.
The pain of being stabbed over and over made shin angry as he couldn't move and defend himself before his spines on his back started to break under the pressure of the tentacles.
This made him snap as he concentrated all his energy on different points of his body.
The pressure was unbearable as shin could no longer breath and felt himself choking decreasing his Hp even more.
More tentacles covered up shins body showing no sign of him being there but only something covered in tentacles.
The creature squeezed with all its might while wearing a deranged smile with crooked teeth.
Overall the creature was pretty much laughing and mocking the massive lizards stupidity for sparing them.
It felt the creature slowly stop struggling before stopping altogether.
The creature smiled and readied itself for a hefty feast, but before it could do anything else they felt their tentacles begin to burn getting hotter and hotter.
Beams of purple light cracked through small gaps in the tentacles making the entire area light up.
The water began to boil and making the creature even more uncomfortable.
Growls and clicks could be heard getting louder and louder from within the mass of tentacles before more and more beams shot through the tentacles completely piercing through their slimy and thick skin.
The creature screeched in pain as more beams kept appearing before it let go of the lizard making the entire area illuminate like a flash bang of purple and white.
A huge wave of hot energy barreled its way towards the creature.
It's eyes wide open the creature tried to cover themselves with its left over tentacles but they were of no use.
The searing hot energy encompassed them in a bright light as it felt its body waste away into atoms.
Letting out one final screech of agony and despair the beams of energy swallowed its entire head before then expanding further past the now gone head to devour the remains of the tentacles laying around everywhere.
The beams of energy even found the creatures main body hidden from the tentacles which was scarred and blood with a reddish brown color.
The entire surrounding water was encompassed in light dissolving the water and any nearby fish.
…
<10 Minutes later>
…
A massive amount of water had disappeared but was quickly filled up by the rest of the ocean.
Not even vaporized it was simply gone as if it never existed.
A massive crater was formed where a massive black rock was formed into the shape of a strange animal curling into a ball.
Cracks began to appear around the surface of the rocky structure before a piece fell off revealing a large white eye with pitch black pupils that would stare into your soul.
Before long it moved around and then the rest the black stone type material fell off.
There lay a massive lizard with its skeleton exposed in various spots, it's muscle and meaty insides leaking out, blood everywhere, and even missing a few limbs.
Shin managed to survive.
