Chapter 27: Rescue Mission
After taking some rest, I received a message on my phone from Takeshi.
Takeshi: "Please call me back once you got my message. This is urgent!" - 2 minutes ago.
So I called him, and he picked it up instantly.
"Hello? Could you come to school right now? It's really urgent." said Takeshi
"I understand, I'll see you at the gates," I told him, cut the line and immediately teleported somewhere close and ran to the gates.
'But still, tho, what could've been so urgent?'
Arriving at the gates, I saw Takeshi and someone else, seems like a girl around 5ft 3 inches tall with orange long hair and a school uniform.
"Good afternoon, what's so urgent Takeshi? I just got back home." I said as I got closer towards them
"I do not have much time to explain, but one of our classmates accidentally went inside a newly formed dungeon portal when they were playing in the field. And since it has only been 5 minutes since they went in, we still have around 5 more minutes before the portal is closed." Replied Takeshi
"I called you here because we need your help, come." Continued Takeshi
He then led me towards the portal. Judging from the size and the feel, it is a portal filled with small fries.

Anyways, I understand why it's so dangerous. I wouldn't even do it on my first dungeon.
But how do I kill the boss without standing out so much?
While I was thinking about that, Takeshi handed me a knife and chestplate, all whilst staying hidden inside a camp. Not that I need them tho.
[Military Knife: +10 damage]
[Military Chestplate: +5% physical resistance]
Now.. These are trash but I dont wanna say that. They would still work with my passive skills and normal damage.
I could get better knives and armors from my [Shop]
[Divine Rapier (6000 Gold): +400 Damage, Grants Truestrike <Passive>]
[Assault Cuirass (5500 Gold): +40% physical resistance, Grants Assault Aura <Passive>]
'Not to say that they are bad. Yes, I do have gold but I don't wanna spend them all as I am saving up money for something else.'
My thoughts were broken when Takeshi told me that they were ready to go.
We prepared and all three of us went inside the portal. I wanted to ask about the girl but it seemed like we had no time for an introduction.
We went inside the portal and we saw a scene where the classmates were about to be killed by the goblin. Being the person I am, I used spider legs and caught up to them in an instance, blocking the goblin attack and killing him in the process. I saw another 5 goblins ready to pounce on us. Of course, I turned off my [Magus], fearing that I would accidentally trigger a [Reaper Scythe] and show off too much. But worry not, I was able to kill the goblins with ease even without my [Reaper Scythe] as my physical ability alone was enough to overpower them.
Seeing me surrounded, Takeshi caught up to me and helped us kill the goblin.
'I don't wanna be arrogant but I didn't actually need help.'
But I thought wrong, with the help of Takeshi, I was able to look 'average' and not show off too much.
After killing the goblins. We took a rest and discussed, seeing that the boss room is still far away.
All 5 of us sat down and the two of the people that we saved spoke up.
"Thank you for saving us." Both of them said
"No problem. What's your name?" I asked them while looking at them both.
"I'm Naomi and she is my sister Miyuki." The girl who identified herself as Naomi told me.
Naomi had purple short hair and Miyuki had a tied up black hair.

"I'm sorry for saying this but shouldn't you know our name already? We're classmates and we all introduced ourselves this morning. Not only that, we both sat in front of you." Miyuki told me with slight irritation on her face.
"Sorry for that, it's just hard for me to remember Japanese names hahahah." I told them laughing it off
"You did well, transfer student. Oh I am sorry for not introducing myself earlier, I am the student council president of Sunny Highschool, Mae." The red haired girl said to me
We talked and talked, we also told one another's abilities. But of course, I lied about mine and told them that I had some experience and my skill was Bodyflicker. We then formulated a strategy in order to take the boss. Of course, they didn't know that it was a warlord boss, and I didn't tell them. Well they didn't need to because I had already killed the warlord boss in secret and taken his loot with my [Smoke of Deceit] when I told them that I had to go for 'boys business', to which I got a weird look from a couple of them, really I was trying to imply that I was going to take a leak.
When we got to the boss room, they were of course surprised as there is nothing in the boss room. Deciding that it was clear, we went back to the portal, which is now open. We were all then able to go back safely. They were splitting the loot but I refused, but they insisted so I took 1 of 100g monster core. In total, I got 100g of monster core and 4kg of monster core from killing the goblin warlord today.
I teleported to Brooklyn, exchanged them for money (secretly with Claire) and teleported back to Japan.
However, before I could teleport back to Japan, Claire stopped me and asked me to sit down for a talk.
