Chapter 56: Chapter 54: The Hunter, Prey and the Bait.
Edward with few other Ravenclaw students were led by Adam where harry Fred and George were.
As they took their first step from the stadium to the back. They saw harry standing with Fred and George by his side looking all tough. As Edward was walking towards Harry he put his hands in his pocket and acted casual.
'Fred and George are acting as his body guard. Even with the people with me I am at a disadvantage.'
Harry looked at Edward and smiled, "So you are here. Took you a while to come here. I didn't think you would actually come. To my knowledge you should have already ran away." He said with an annoying smirk.
"It seems to me that winning quiditch has gotten in your head, you think you can just take the world just because people say that you are special. What are you? Just a parentless child? You can't do shit to me" Edward grunted while looking at harry with anger.
Harry did not lose his composure he had a slight grin, 'It looks like he is getting angry.'
"I am better than you who just hides behind his parent. I have even fought troll and I was also responsible for Voldemort's death." Harry revealed his scar, "Do you want know how I got this scar?" harry mocked Edward.
Everyone on the Ravenclaw side were taken back as harry actually took the name of the dark lord without a hint of fear.
"What do you say? Should we dual and find out who is better?" Harry retained his smirk. His expression showed overconfidence to the extreme.
'I am exactly copying what Malfoy does. I hope he falls for it.'
"You want to dual now. Don't be ridiculous?" Edward rejected Harry's proposal.
"Are you scared?" Fred mocked Edward.
"I think he wants to go hide behind his parents." George added fuel to the fire. Both started laughing in a mocking way which made Edward want to curse them.
Harry took two steps forward, "The ending ceremony will start in just few minutes. Everyone will be busy in the ceremony, we can head towards the castle and duel without any intervention. Just you and me. No one else."
'This little prick. He is being over bearing. He thinks he can beat me in a dual. Just started learning magic and win a dual.' Edward was full of confidence, 'He won't see the light of tomorrow. After I deal with him I will end these twins.'
"I accept your dual." He said with full confidence.

[Liam's plan step no. 2: The Hunter, Prey and the Bait]
[Hogwarts Castle]
Harry and Edward walked with few meters distance to one another. Harry didn't even know what a dual was. He just said what Liam told him. As they entered the castle. Edward asked Harry, "So where do we fight?"
"Just follow me." Harry replied in a cold tone angering Edward even more. Soon they reached the front hall of the castle otherwise also known as the entrance hall.
The front hall was so big you could have fit a whole house in it. The stone walls were lit with flaming torches like the ones at gringotts. The ceiling was too high to make out, and a magnificent marble staircase facing them led to the upper floors.
"You sure choose a good place." Edward had a weird smile. 'The people in the paintings are gone. No one would even think that someone would dual in the front hall. Even Filch won't come here.' Edwards started to look around a bit he noticed that the various doors are all closed. 'This… it is very weird. No one is around it seems like I am walking in on a trap.'
Edward became vigilant he started to notice each and every thing in the hall. He noticed that even though all the exits were blocked there was no one waiting to ambush him. He eased a bit.
Harry and Edward reached near the marble staircase. Harry started to look towards the door to the great hall. Edward noticed Harry's unusual behavior and he started at the door as well. Out of nowhere Liam appeared in front of him. Harry quickly ran to the way they had come before. Edward let him run back. He didn't even cared to look at the running harry.
"So it was you who planned all this." Edward said while looking at Liam. He had a little mocking tone in his speech. He walked down the stairs. Liam was right in front of Edward they had few meters distance between them. "I didn't even think that it would be you. Shouldn't you be trapped in the dungeons with a family of rats, a place where you truly belong." He touched the ring on his hands.
Liam glared at Edward, "Don't try to act dumb. I know it was you. And I also know what kind of magic you have used."
"Oh do you know. What are you going to do about it?" Edward mocked Liam as he put his hands in his pockets. Totally disrespecting Liam, his behavior showed that he didn't consider Liam to be a danger.
"Why?"
Liam asked with a plain tone, "What would you have gotten by doing this? Taking such big risks, using forbidden banned magic. Why would you do this? Just because you hate my guts? Because I was getting more attention than you? Please don't tell me it was the reasons I mentioned. Because if you have done all this because of such a silly reason then there is no one more idiotic than you."
Edward laughed, "Do you really think a brat like you is so special that I will use such a high level of magic just to deal with you. You're not even worth making such an effort. If it weren't an order from above I would have dealt with you the usual way. Even I wasn't able to understand what they were thinking. But who am I to complain. I shouldn't be telling you all this but as this is going to be your last day I decided to tell you."
'So my thinking was right. There is involvement of a larger group behind this. There was no way that a student would be able to perform such magic. But what is the purpose of this organization. Why was I chosen for this?'
Edward took out his wand from his jacket and held it tightly, "I came here for a dual and I will get a dual. I want to see how a troll killer fights. Take out your wand." He looked towards Liam with mockery. Edward was fully prepared to fight Liam and show his strength to him. Defeat him by overpowering and look at the helpless expression of Liam. His posture as well as his mind was filled with overconfidence which even made Liam heart tremble a little.
Liam was also prepared to fight, 'I can do this. So what if he is older than you and knows higher level spells. Even in such a situation I can win.'
As he had made this plan he had fully prepared to fight Edward. He didn't know the spells which Edward knew nor did he know how strong of a dualist Edward was. Liam didn't need to defeat him he just needed to hold him there till.

[Flash back no. 2]
Liam's room.
"So what will we do after having Edward in the front hall? Don't tell me you will fight him and then make him admit his crimes." Said Hermione looking at Liam who took out box which was hidden under a table with a weird magic, "Are you listening to me? Even if you were able to fight off trolls I doesn't mean you can fight a senior student."
"I'll have to agree to this. You can't be this careless Edward is still a senior student and knows a lot of spells than you. And According to what we know he knows unknown dark magic which we don't even know how to protect our self from." Cedric agreed to Hermione.
Liam kept the box on the table and took a long breath in and breathed out, "Cedric throw a dispelling spell on me." Liam took out his wand and walked away a bit.
"A dispel spell? Well it isn't harmful. Okay then." He got up from his seat and pointed his wand towards Liam.
{Expelliarmus}~
{Absorb}~
Just the moment Cedric casted the spell Liam also cast his spell.
Everyone in the room was shocked to see the spell disappear.
Fred: "Merlin's beard what was that spell."
George: "The spell… It disappeared."
Fred and George both had their mouths open.
"No it didn't disappear." Said Hermione who was looking at Liam's wand. Previously Liam had told Cedric to keep Michael's glasses on the table. He told everyone present there what the glasses could do. Hermione had taken the glasses out of curiosity and was playing around with it.
Wizards can instinctively feel if a spell was shot from a wand and they clearly felt the spell get shot out of Cedric's wand as it reached Liam it disappeared and the only thing which they saw was Liam waving his wand and uttering spell which they didn't know about.
"It got absorbed in his wand. I can see the bead in the bottom of Liam's wand glow like crystal." Hermione explained what she saw.
"She is correct. The spell was absorbed into pure magic energy which I can use to enhance my spells or just recast the same spell without losing my own magic energy and I think if I master this spell I could even be able to cast the absorbed spell without chanting but I haven't reached that level yet. I don't know how much more spells my wand can hold as I haven't tried to push its limits but. It will be enough to hold Edward for a while." Liam explained.
Fred: "That's awesome. It's a very cool spell."
George: "Once this is over please teach us that spell."
They looked towards Liam with excitement.
"Sorry guys, I can only use this spell because of my wand. I don't think anyone else can use this spell." Liam broke the bad news to the twins, "But I know a spell which is similar to this which I created while coming up with this spell. I can teach you that spell."
The twins cheered up after hearing this.
Fred: "But we have to admit, you are truly a genius."
George: "You created your own unique spell at such a young spell. That's something even Dumbledore wasn't able to do."
Hermione looked at Liam with weird eyes, 'Even though we entered this world at the same time. How can our progress and knowledge be in such different level.'
"Guys please don't give me such credit. It was only because of Michael that I was able to figure out this spell. If it weren't for him to first notice the strangeness of my wand I would have never been able to figure it out on my own." Liam humbled himself, "Anyway let's focus on the plan. I think I can hold him for a while. With this trick up my sleeves"
"Liam, what's in the box?" Harry asked curiously.
"This is a gift for Fred and George." Liam smiled.
"A gift for us." Both exclaimed.
"Yes, open it."
Fred pulled the box towards them and George opened the box, "Lovely mother of a magic!! Is this what I think it is?" George exclaimed.
Liam smiled slyly, "Yes, this magical firework (Advance version.)" Liam looked smugly towards the two twins.

I know it may seem to you that the upload stability is dwindling. But if you think a bout it. The chapter are longer and better written. When I was uploading daily I wrote the chapter to be 900 words long. The uploads were faster but the quality of the plot and the writing was poor. But now I take my time writing and I am able to write 2000 words with a better quality. So I hope you are able to wait a bit longer for the chapters.
