Chapter 36: Ch.36: Age Of Extinction.
"You know, I though I've seen it all. Kangaroos, dottobirds, sharks, ants, I really did think I saw it all. But a dinosaur, a freaking...dinosaur. Come on bruh.."
Kazemi and Tory were standing in the middle of a forest, a 12 meter tall T-rex having its snout in front of them. The dinosaur had black scales and brown skin. A small flower was present on its head as well.
"Yeah...uh-uhm, can I sit this one out..?" Tory said while shaking a bit. She now had her normal appearance back. She could apparently alter her figure which made them both happy. Kazemi didn't want to have sex with a grown child.
Yes, she was of age, but...well you know...you know...well, you know. "No need actually. All the monsters in this abyss are way too overconfident. Look." He placed his hand on the snout of the beast.
The abyss was an alternate dungeon that Kazemi fell into. Right now, he'd say he was on floor 35 of this alternative dungeon. Anyways, the beast allowed Kazemi to place his hand on its snout. In its eyes, Kazemi was a weak person with barely any magic. The same can be said about Tory.
'Its a shame that your species will go extinct now that I'm here..' Kazemi took its power and skills, the monster fading away into the wind as dust. "W-Woah....I didn't know...that your power was this destructive...."
Tory said in amazement. Ever since she came to this world, magic has always fascinated her. The possibilites of magic could be endless. "Yeah, I'm still amazed by it myself. A shame that I can't go to the next stage though.."
He sighed while Tory did the same. She felt sort of bad as she easily made it to the third stage and even thinks she could make it to the 5 if she really wanted too. 'But, like he said, Tory, it's not your fault. Its my talent as a vampire and so its expected.'
As she though that, Kazemi pointed in a random direction. "10. 10 of them are coming straight for us.." He pulled out his swords. His swords were katana styled with black handles and a red blade. The swords were very sharp and durable as well.
By pasting stats and skills onto the sword, it gave them this effect. That's right, Kazemi is using his brains. Hehe. "D-Do you need help or...?" While she was afraid of dinosaurs because of certain movies, she didn't want to be useless to him.
No One Likes Useless people..
"I mean,...no, but you can help if you really want too." She instanly shook her head and hid behind him. Her first 'horror' movie was a dinosaur movie and it traumatized her. Kazemi played with the swords he carried as the sound of thunder got closer and closer to him.
As the dinosaurs came into his view, he crossed the swords, forming an X. The swords were then covered in black lightning, a red outline to it. Tory felt the power coming off the blades and was being pushed back a bit.
"Hold on."
Said Kazemi. She rapidly nodded and held onto his waist. The dinosaurs roared and sent out a wave of air. Kazemi flicked his arms out, 2 slashes of black and red going at the dinosaurs in a horizontal manner.
It cut through the air waves as the magic it presented overpowered the air magic. All 10 dinosaurs then crouched down as their legs came off. 'I still need their strengths after all..' The lightnining on the blades died down, signaling him to put the swords back into their sheaths.
'All I'm saying is that the farther I go down in floor level, the stronger I become. You'd think that I'd struggle but nah, not really..' After that, the two walked up to the dying dinosaurs. Kazemi took their powers and put them into his swords.
'They get heavier as well, each of them probably weighing around 6 tons right now. That's a lot, but hey, the training results are something else...' He stretched a bit then took the scales off the dinosaurs.
"Here you go.." Tory opened up the huge bag on her back and held it out in front of him. "Thank you.." He put the scales into the bag. The bag had all sorts of minerals in them from each floor he's visited.
"You noticed that they all had flowers on their heads, right?" He asked her, recieving a nod and an answer. "Yeah, it's odd. And their movements...its very straight forward for a monster.." They both then went into thought.
Another dinosaur was approaching them which they caught onto but didn't reach in the slightest. 'Ah, I got it. Yeah, that's it. Monsters like a dinosaur would definitely sit back and watch their prey, gauging their prowess before attacking..'
He pulled a sword out and in a swift movement, the flower on the random dinosaur came off. The dinosaur froze for a moment then shook its head. It then stared at the two people in front of itself, seeing a blade coming at its pupil then seeing darkness.
""Yep, it was brainwashed.""
They both said at the same time. Kazemi took the stats and scales off that dinosaur as well then they both started walking. After walking and killing for over an hour, they arrived at a triangle shaped crack in a tall wall.
"Yeah, this is the place." Tory said while nodding and looking around. "How do you know?" Kazemi asked with a small cough. She then pointed back to where they came from, a trail of blood and dust in the way.
"They all started rushing here the closer we got to this hole.." Kazemi nodded while turning his head back to the hole. 'So the Dino King should be in here as well as the person controlling them. If I could get such a power then it'll definitely be useful..'
To give you an idea of where his power level was at, here is a part of his status.
[Health: ???]
[Strength: 98,456]
[Speed: 780mph.]
[Defense: 40,000]
[Magic: 200,000]
[Skills: 60+]
'Yeah. So that's something. Weak, huh?'
He laughed a bit while shaking his head. 'Nah, I'm kidding. That sort of power...is something that anyone should strive for...or try to atleast.' He then thought back to a few things he said. His clearest memory was of him saying that he could lift 3 planes.
'Planes are...subjective, no? Just depends on what plane I'm talking about to be honest...' He sighed while going over his other stats.
'Speed...my speed is something of rivaling sound. Defense....I could take the force of a plane and live. Magic...man, uh...I don't know how to explain that one. Oh yeah, every being has magic power. Some just can't utilize it for attacks. Anyways, skills....yeah, I've fought a lot of monsters. Oh yeah, if I take the same skill, it just adds control to that one skill. Not experience, but control. Control would be like...I can control the output of how much I use that skill. Experience would be like the best way to use that skill. Yeah, control falls under the experience category, but that's what's the panel told me and that's what I'm telling....myself? Yeah, who am I explaining this too?'
He then looked at his health. 'Why is it labeled as question marks? I'm healthy, right? Unlesssss,...oh, so I still have that, huh? Explains the coughing I guess..' He sighed as he and Tory began walking into the hole.
They soon arrived in an empty cave with an open roof. "Mh. Yeah, there's a monster hiding over there.." He pointed at a wall with a hole in it. Tory looked at it and when she did, an eye ball moved away.
Kazemi then started moving his head, eyeing the walls of the room in a weird manner. 'It can run,..but it definitely can't hide..' It then stopped running throughout the wall, causing Kazemi to look up. What he and Tory saw next was small crystals raining down towards them.
"You?"
"Okay.."
He made a cube of rock in which she touched. It then expanded into a sheild that acted like an umbrella. The shards of crystals bounced off the umbrella of rock and mineral and to the sides of them onto the ground.
"Are you okay, Tory?" He asked while checking her out. He got hit by some shards but his skin was too tough to be pierced. Her skin was soft and so if she did get managed to be hit by those shards, she would be hurt.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Nothing got on me.." Kazemi nodded and put his hand out at a wall. A sickle of wind shot out and collided with the wall 2 seconds later. What was then heard was a shriek of high pitched pain.
'Hope I didn't kill it..' Tory then started walking away, saying she was going to explore and find the King Dino. Kazemi began walking up to the destroyed wall. What he saw next was a green plant with a white out face.
"You're an ugly creature. I-I'm sorry. That just came out.." The green plant flinched as he bent down and held its hand. The plant blushed a bit while looking away. "Hey, stop it. Don't make a face like that."
It shook its head no and kept looking away. "Well, it's been fun. Uhm, this is sort of awkward, so imma kill you now, okay?" The monster flinched then nodded. It couldn't use its powers for some reason, rendering it powerless.
It could only die now. 'When In The Face Of Overwhelming Power, Just Give Up.' He decayed it away until it was dust. 'Remember guys, it's okay to run away or give up. Doesn't necessarily mean your weak. You just know when you're not strong enough..'
He sighed out while making a mineral mirror. He stared at himself in the mirror, looking at the scar that went over his left eye. 'You got too overconfident that time, Aric. Don't let it happen again..' He broke the mirror then met back up with
Tory.
