Chapter 24: Farmhouse Brawl!
Leonidus ran back towards the farmhouse, "Bakugo! Denki! Rei! Please, you gotta wake up! There's a Villain! Mr. Kasai! Please get up!"
Inside the farmhouse, Bakugo scowled in his sleep, his fingers trembled with anger. He burst out of the bedroom window as Leonidus was running up to the farmhouse.
"Alright! I'm fuckin' tired of sleeping! Where the hell's this Villain at already?!" Bakugo shouted.
"Bakugo! The villain's fused with the entire farmland! I'm not shitting you! The 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 Kasheak Farmland is the Villain now!" Alyx relayed.
"Huh? The fuck!? That just means there more of him that I can destroy!" Bakugo cackled.
Bakugo landed down on the ground as the parasitic Quirk of Yume formed around the house in some spots.
"Shit! Come on, Bakugo! We need to protect them!" Leonidus told him.
"Don't tell me what to do, damn it!"
He stormed into the house as Leonidus flew up into the bedroom. He noticed that the format of the room was changed completely. Rei was still asleep on the bed as multiple appendages slowly rose up around her. Leonidus charged forward with his Nichirin Blade reeled back.
"Water Breathing... First Form... Water Surface Slash!" Leonidus thought.
One horizontal slice cut the appendages cleanly with ease. The appendages disintegrated as Alyx picked Rei up off the bed. More of Yume's parasitic appendages rose up from the floor. In the very middle of the farmland sat Yume, he was resting inside of a flesh pod made from his own Quirk.
"𝑯𝒎𝒑𝒉... 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔, 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒎𝒆... 𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒇𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓, 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆! 𝑵𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒓𝒚, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒏!" Yume relished in thought.
Alyx sliced through more appendages as he kept a hold of Setsuko. He narrowly dodged one as it skyrocketed towards him. He sliced downward as another one came towards him.
"𝘋-𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘪𝘵! 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥! 𝘏𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴! 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐'𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘪 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴. 𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘱 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯!" Alyx thought.
In another room however, the elderly woman was fending off the appendages that tried to attack her. Try as she might, she wasn't quick enough to dodged one of them. It grabbed her by the neck and rose into the air. She screamed out in pain as the appendage tightened around her throat. All seemed lost, when suddenly, a flash of light hit her eyes from the now open window. A thunderous "KABOOM" followed afterwards as Kaminari entered the room, supercharged with his Quirk! It incinerated the appendage that held the woman hostage without leaving a mark on her.
"You'll pay... Indiscriminate Shock... 1.3 Million Volts... Godspeed!" He muttered.
He bolted around the room with peak precision, annihilating the surrounding appendages without any effort! He landed on the ground softly in front of the woman.
"I meant what I promised you... I'll keep you safe..." He continued.
She stood still for a bit, stunned at Kaminari's display of power, she blinked a few times before smiling softly at him.
"Thank you, Chargebolt." She smiled.
Kaminari looked behind him with his fried brain look, "Heh heh... Whey! Yoo Hoo!"
In Leonidus' room, he blocked one of the appendages and sliced it in half. He took deep breaths as he stood in the middle of the room.
"Thunder... That must've been Kaminari! Alright! He's finally awake now too!" Leonidus exulted.
Downstairs, Kasai finally woke up, he stood in the middle of the former living room with a smile on his face.
"Well, what do you know, Great Granduncle was right! It looks as if the party started without me! Very well then, I guess I'll just make my presence known!" He declared.
He crossed his arms, his eyes lit up with flames as his hero suit became engulfed in them. A huge fiery explosion rocked the farmhouse and the surrounding area, covering about a half mile radius! Inside the flesh pod, Yume hacked up blood violently as he felt the effects of Kasai's Volcanic Release attack! The house and surrounding area were left completely intact with no damage whatsoever. However, it did cause Leonidus to lose his footing, crashing into one of the room walls with Rei.
"H-Holy smokes! Was that Mr. Kasai? I've never felt that much pressure before!" Alyx remarked.
A fiery circle appeared in the middle of the room, Kasai Rengoku shot out of the the circle and landed down where it was.
"Young Leonidus! Glad to see you're doing well! Quite the situation we've got ourselves into, eh? That companion of yours, she doesn't seem to be waking up, something tells me her dream must be rather interesting!" Kasai grinned.
"Mr. Kasai! I didn't think it would get this bad whatsoever! How are we supposed to defeat this guy? He keeps on regenerating thanks to those parasites."
"It seems as if this entire place is controlled by this villain, the Kasheak Farmland has a total of 40 people, there's a total of 9 homes here. I'll protect this one and the two houses nearby. You and the feral boy need to find the source of this villain's Quirk."
Alyx nodded at him, "Understood! I'll get right on it!"
"By the way, you can call me 'Kasai', Young Leonidus." He smiled.
In the blink of an eye, he zoomed out of the room, Leonidus was vastly impressed with his speed. He felt Rei's head lift off his shoulder, she looked up at him with confusion.
"A-Alyx...? What's going on?" Setsuko wearily asked.
"We're under attack by a villain, don't worry, we've got everything under control. It just so happens that the villain's fused with the entire farmland."
The two stood up and a door to their right opened, Kaminari rushed inside the room, waving at them as he entered.
"Hey! Kaminari, you stay here with Rei and help Mr. Kasai protect the family in this house. Bakugo and I are gonna go after Yume!" Alyx instructed.
"Are you sure you don't want us to help?" Kaminari asked.
"We'll be okay, I'm sure Mr. Kasai will need more help defending the houses here than we will."
They nodded at Alyx and he hurried out of the room, "Bakugo! Where are you at?"
He heard Bakugo's laughing coming from outside of the Farmhouse. He kicked the door down to exit the house and saw Bakugo obliterating the appendages.
"Bakugo! We need to-" Leonidus shouted.
"Shut it! Firepants already told me what we need to do! Let's go already, the growth gets larger if we head North! Come on!"
Alyx entered Gear One and the two boys took off towards Yume. Yume felt their oncoming presence and sent a horde of appendages towards them. Alyx looked behind him and noticed the dozens of parasitic appendages flying towards them.
"Bakugo! Look out! Behind us!" Alyx yelled.
Bakugo's eyes widened as he looked behind him, Alyx held his both of his hands out as he flew backwards to fire off his Stardust Shoot beams. The beams cut right through the approaching appendages.
"Oi! I see the sack of shit up ahead! I'm gonna fuck this guy up!" Bakugo told Alyx.
The huge flesh pod pulsated as it was glowing red and dark blue from its veins. Bakugo charged straight in towards the pod with his hands outward.
"AP Shot!" He shouted.
The precise explosion slammed into Yume's pod, causing it to open to reveal Yume's weakpoint. Alyx rose into the sky, his arm encased with his Overdrive Blade, he held it up high before going down.
"𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴'𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸! 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦... 𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦: 𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳!" Leonidus thought.
He slammed his Overdrive Blade down hard on the weakpoint, an eruption of Overdrive lit up the surrounding area. Alyx smiled as he landed what he thought was a finishing move until a small appendage shot up and pierced his side.
"LEONIDUS!" Bakugo screamed.
Bakugo quickly pulled the pin on his right grenade gauntlet and let out a hellish explosion! He rushed over to Leonidus' side as he fell to the ground, clutching his left side.
"Hey, are you alright?" He urgently asked.
"Y-Yeah... I'm... I'm okay. He didn't get the chance to pierce me all the way through." Alyx responded.
Bakugo helped Leonidus up to his feet, suddenly, the ground began to shake and rumble around them. The dense smoke cleared to reveal a hulking parasitic mass controlled by Yume. The look of pure terror was written all over Bakugo and Leonidus.
"Oooo... That look on both of your faces... It's so invigorating~! I wonder if you both will make it out of this alive?" Yume's voice echoed.
"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵... 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘦...! 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘰, 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘔𝘳. 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘪!" Leonidus thought.
"Let's go, Bakugo!"
Taking deep breaths, Leonidus charged into the sky with his Nichirin Blade, Bakugo followed suite behind Alyx. Leonidus slashed at the giant eye in the middle, Alyx glanced over to his right and saw a huge fist flying towards Katsuki. Alyx pushed Bakugo out of the way, taking the hit instead, the fist drove Leonidus straight into the ground. Bakugo threw one of his grenades right into the bleeding eye of Yume. Instead of exploding like Yume thought, it only billowed out smoke.
"What the...? I can't see anything! That brat... What did you do?" Yume muttered.
As the smoke cleared up, Yume's giant eye looked into the sky to see Bakugo zooming towards him, spinning around in the air using his explosions!
"LET'S SEE HOW YA LIKE THIS ONE FREAK! HOWITZER IMPACT!!" He thundered.
Bakugo shot straight through Yume, as he did, Bakugo made eye contact with him inside the hulking mass as he passed through him. Bakugo landed down on the ground as Yume stood there, trembling as he slowly regenerated. Alyx coughed up blood as he slowly got up from the ground. He wiped the blood off of his face as he panted.
Leonidus looked up towards Yume, "𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘺... 𝘏-𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦! 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬-𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩! 𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘨𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘭! 𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘨𝘰'𝘴 𝘏𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘻𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯!"
"Hey, Bakugo! I need you to make another opening for me again, hurry! Before he fully regenerates!" Alyx shouted to him.
"With pleasure!"
Bakugo grinned as he stared down Yume, he darted into the air with insane speeds, he held out his left hand. He pulled the pin on his grenade gauntlet and let off an even bigger explosion than the one his former right gauntlet let off! It blew a hole open that exposed Yume completely! Alyx charged into the sky with his Nichirin Blade reeled backwards. As he took a deep breath inwards, flames spouted out of his mouth, Bakugo looked both astonished and confused. Alyx's blade lit up in flames as he approached Yume. Time slowed around Yume, figuring this was his end, he closed his eyes as Leonidus approached.
The smell of a cool fall morning hit Yume's nose, he sat up in his bed, looking around at his old childhood room.
"Yume, breakfast is ready!" His Mother called out.
He found a mirror in front of his bed, revealing that he a much younger version of himself. He looked down at his hands and to the mirror in front of his bed once more.
"𝑯𝒐𝒘... 𝑨𝒎 𝑰 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒅? 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝑰 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒍? 𝑾𝒉𝒚... 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆?" Yume thought.
He got up from his bed but felt a presence behind him, he quickly turned around and saw Leonidus standing in front of his window.
"You... What's going on?" Yume questioned.
"I've taken you to a place where you can finally be happy, Yume."
"But why? After everything I've done... Why have you given me a kind fate?"
"Because the afterlife wouldn't treat you kindly, you might be a villain, but you still had a family of your own. Even though you said harsh things to me, I will never view villains as monsters, unless proven otherwise. Almost everyone deserves a peaceful slumber, one without pain or suffering, Yume. Not as a hero, but because of my own morals, do I believe it wouldn't be right for you to not have that slumber. You've been misguided all your life, none of this was your fault, your actions were guided by fear. Rest easy, Yume." Alyx explained.
Yume's lip began to quiver as tears started to pour down his face, "T-Thank you... Thank you so much, Leonidus!"
"You showed me happiness in my dream, so I wanted to return the favor as well, Yume."
Leonidus had his hand placed onto Yume's face instead of slashing his neck with his Nichirin Blade. A peaceful, pleasant look came across Yume's face as he began to disappear into the Seventh Plane. His eyes met with Leonidus' as he continued to smile at him.
"𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆... 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖... 𝑾𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔... 𝑵𝒐, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕... 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒆... 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒆... 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒅... 𝒀𝒆𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒆... 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑲𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒐... 𝑰 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏." Yume thought.
Yume finally faded away along with the hulking mass that surrounded him. Alyx fell out of the sky, completely exhausted, Bakugo caught him in mid air as he landed on the ground with him.
"The hell was that?" Bakugo questioned.
"I... I used a technique... That sent him to... The Seventh Plane... B-But... It takes a lot out of me..."
"And the whole flames coming out of your mouth shit?"
"H-Huh...? I-I'm... That was my... Hinokami Kagura... It symbolized-"
"-You being a worthy Sun Breathing Style user, Young Leonidus. I'm rather surprised and impressed at what you just did! I'm sure I have some notes on it back at my headquarters. Are you alright? You look like you've both taken quite the beating." Kasai interrupted.
Bakugo simply scoffed and didn't say anything, Leonidus nodded his head at Kasai.
"I'm... Okay... Just a bit beaten up... Although, I c-can't really move. Is everyone else okay?" Leonidus responded.
"Yes, we've secured the civilians, they're all safe and secure. As for your friends and the other Pros, they're doing just fine as well. It seems like he was the only-"
Suddenly, Leonidus and Kasai shot their heads backwards as they felt the air grow cold from someone's presence. There stood a man dressed in black, ripped up pants alongside a near skin-tight leather jacket, he held the head of the elderly woman in his right hand. Leonidus gasped with anger and tried to get up, but couldn't muster the strength.
"Ah, I see you've dealt with my little friend, Yume. I guess it's safe to say that he wasn't strong enough. But you interest me though, I don't think I would've ever seen my own brother get defeated in battle before, especially not by some kids. There's one thing I'd like to know, who are you?" The man spoke up.
"I'm the Fierce Flame Hero: Torch. You are?"
The man cracked his neck, "Eh, Torch, huh? If we're using fake names you can call me... Hametsu!"
"𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘴𝘶 𝘨𝘶𝘺, 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯... 𝘏𝘦𝘳'𝘴! 𝘐... 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘔𝘳. 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘪 𝘣𝘶𝘵... 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺! 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦!" Alyx thought to himself.
"So, Torch, shall we get started?" Hametsu grinned.
Torch didn't say a single word to Hametsu, he charged forward and threw a fist at him, Hametsu caught it with an open palm. The two began to exchange quick blows to one another, expertly blocking them with full precision! Leonidus and Bakugo found it difficult to decipher who was coming out on top. They watched on in awe as the display of incredible speed and power continued.

Kasai and Hametsu clashed fists, "Amazing! Amazing! I'm surprised you're keeping up with me, this is incredible! I've never met someone who could match my pace!"
"And I'll make sure you won't meet another person that can!"
"Ho ho! Quite the declaration, Torch!" I like that!"
Hametsu dodged out of the way of Kasai's fiery uppercut as it sent flames spouting upwards. He hopped backwards from Kasai with a grin on his face, his hands began to glow bright orange and he launched a flurry of fists that flew towards Kasai. Kasai guarded himself as the orange fists approached him. They pelted against his arms and body with immense pressure, it caught Kasai off guard as he slid backwards. He quickly lowered his arms and ran towards Hametsu. He dodged Hametsu's swipe and drove his fist right into his stomach.
"𝘜𝘯𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦: 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘗𝘶𝘴𝘩!" Kasai thought.
Hametsu went flying into the ground as a pillar of fire burrowed him into it. Kasai kept his fist out as the pillar of flames exploded! As the smoke from the attack cleared, Hametsu was laid out in the impact crater. He coughed up blood as he began to slowly sit back up.
"T-That... I wasn't... Expecting." He muttered.
Kasai appeared right in front of Hametsu with glowing yellow and red eyes, "I won't allow anyone to die, because if I do, then I won't be able to live up to my expectations!"
"That's thoughtful, Torch... I just killed someone earlier though, it was quite amusing when his son was pleading for me to stop!" Hametsu smirked.
Kasai's eyes widened as bright orange energy started to glow out of the cracks in the ground. Hametsu's chest shot out a huge beam of energy that sent Kasai flying into the air. Kasai crashed into the ground hard as he rolled across the dirt. Hametsu zoomed across the farmland to deliver a huge kick to Kasai's stomach. He coughed up blood but grit his teeth through the pain, he grabbed Hametsu's leg and tossed him aside. Kasai got up to his feet, taking a moment to catch his breath, Hametsu spit blood on the ground then looked straight at Kasai. Bakugo and Leonidus were going to make a move but Kasai held his hand out.
"Stay back! That's an order! Don't you think about-" Kasai ordered.
A wave of energy went right through Kasai, but it didn't pierce him nor put a hole in him. He fell to one knee has he gasped for air.
"Mr. Kasai!" Alyx shouted.
"Hmph... I'm unsure why you took your eyes off me, Torch. Protecting those brats behind you I see? Perhaps I should just get them out of the way for you so you can focus!" Hametsu pondered.
Hametsu zoomed forward towards Bakugo and Leonidus with both of his fists reeled backwards. Before his fists made contact with the two of them, Kasai interjected, holding back both of Hametsu's fists.
"It'll be... A cold day in Hell... Before I let you hurt either of them!" Kasai fumed.
The flames around Kasai grew larger as his grip on Hametsu's fists intensified. Kasai reeled his head backwards to deliver a savage headbutt to Hametsu! The ground beneath Hametsu's feet cracked as Kasai's head impacted against his own. Kasai let go of Hametsu's hands before smashing his elbow into his jaw.
"Jet Burn Kick!" He yelled.
He jumped forward, spun around, then slammed his foot straight into Hametsu's neck. He sent him flying away and straight into an old grain silo, it crumbled on top of Hametsu. Kasai fell to one knee once more as he started to pant heavily, Alyx tried to move up off of the ground as he held his left side.
"Mr. K-Kasai... Are you...?" Leonidus asked.
"D-Don't strain yourself... Y-Young Leonidus... That wound... You'll make it worse." Kasai panted.
Kasai stumbled up to his feet as he felt at his stomach, "𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘴... 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘨, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘥. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯, 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵'𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦."
Hametsu pushed away a huge piece of the silo, blood dripped down his arms and head, he was breathing heavier than Kasai was! His head and arms slumped down as stumbled forward.
"Torch... I'm... Getting... Tired... Of this..." Hametsu mumbled.
Kasai stepped forward a bit as blood dripped down his face. He stood up straight as he firmly stared at Hametsu. Kasai closed his eyes and took a deep breath in before a flowing aura surrounded him. His eyes filled with the flame-like aura that surrounded him.
"I'm ending this, right now! I won't let you proceed with terrorizing this land any longer!" Kasai shouted.
"That aura... Your Quirk really is something else..." Hametsu smirked.
"𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦, 𝘪𝘧 𝘯𝘰𝘵, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦!" Kasai thought.
Kasai stood in his fighting stance with strengthened the flames around him. Hametsu's hands began to glow bright neon orange as he waited for Kasai to move.
"Ultimate Move... Fire God's Pride!" He roared.
A huge pillar of fire erupted around Kasai as he charged forward to Hametsu, the pillar changed into a gigantic fiery lion as Hametsu rammed right into him, surrounding him with hellish flames. Kasai threw a strike at Hametsu which narrowly missed him. Hametsu grinned devilishly as he drove his fist right through Kasai's stomach.
"Nice try, Torch!" Hametsu cackled.
Suddenly, Kasai burst into flames, the real Kasai appeared behind Hametsu with his hand reeled backwards.
"Mr. Kasai!" Leonidus shouted.
The hellish flames settled, Leonidus and Bakugo starred at the dense smoke from Kasai's attack. Alyx's eyes widened as he saw that Kasai was holding Hametsu's hand back from impaling him. Hametsu went to shove his other hand through Kasai's torso but he quickly grabbed his wrist.
"I won't let you kill me... Not until the boy... Learns what he needs to know!" Kasai fumed.
"Fuck...! Let go...! Let go damn it!! Die!! Get off me!!"
The two began a furious struggle for life and death. Hametsu grit his teeth as he tried to pull away from Kasai. He looked over in a panic, noticing that Rei and Kaminari were running towards him.
"Fuck... Fuck fuck fuck! Let go you bastard!!!" He screamed.
"I won't let go! Not until... You suffer for your crimes!" Kasai retorted.
The two screamed as their struggle continued, Alyx managed to get up and made a run towards them with his sword in hand.
"𝘎𝘰... 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯! 𝘔𝘳. 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘪 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳!" Leonidus thought.
As Alyx quickly approached, Hametsu quickly sent out appendages towards him, Leonidus did his best to dodge them but was narrowly hit by the attacks. Bakugo flew past Alyx, grabbing his Nichirin Blade out of his hands and holding it up high.
"Try and dodge this one, fuckface!!" Bakugo roared.
Katsuki darted towards Hametsu, only to slam right into the ground! As a last ditch effort, Hametsu dissolved himself into the ground just like Yume, he stood several feet away from the heroes before making a run for it. Leonidus ran past Kasai and Bakugo, he held his hand out and shot a beam of Stardust Shoot at Hametsu. It pierced his right shoulder as he made his escape. Alyx panted as he slowly put his arm down. Before Kasai could speak, Leonidus' emotions finally boiled over.
"YOU GODDAMN BASTARD! WE'RE NOT FUCKING FINISHED YET!!" Leonidus exploded.
Denki and Rei stopped at the bottom of the hill after hearing Alyx's yelling. Everyone stared at Leonidus.
"YOU'VE TAKEN SO MANY LIVES HERE! AND FOR WHAT?! FOR WHAAAAT!?!? IT'S NOT FAIR AT ALL! YOU'RE A GODDAMN COWARD YOU HEAR?! A SPINELESS WORM! IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU... YOU'RE THE ONES I HATE THE MOST! THOSE LIVES YOU'VE TAKEN CAN NEVER COME BACK!! YOU HEAR ME?! I'LL FIND YOU AND MAKE YOU PAY!!" Alyx screamed.
Leonidus took a deep breath as he gasped for air, he clenched his fists as he started to bawl hysterically. Alyx fell to his knees, Kasai looked concerned along with everyone else.
"Hey, settle down, you'll make that wound of yours even worse." Kasai advised.
Alyx slightly calmed down as he turned his head towards Kasai. Bakugo helped Rengoku up to his feet and over towards Leonidus. He knelt down in front of him and place his hand on Alyx's shoulder.
"It's alright, Alyx. You did well." Kasai spoke gently.
"B-But... He killed that woman a-and..." Leonidus sobbed.
"We tried to stop his parasites but we just couldn't. If anything, it's our fault, Alyx." Kaminari told him.
Kasai wiped blood off his face, "There are times when the opponent is just too much to handle, death isn't avoidable in this world, people like him... They'll do whatever it takes in order to see their ideals come to life."
"And you all did just fine." A voice interrupted.
A teary eyed woman stood with her newborn, "That woman he killed... She was my Mother. She would've done everything in her power to keep my child and I safe. Regardless of what happened here, you all kept us safe, she'd be forever in your debt."
Leonidus wiped his eyes, a slight smile came to his face after hearing her words. Time froze, Kasai looked around to see that nobody was moving.
"You did extraordinary, Grand Nephew! You've made me proud." Kyojuro suddenly spoke.
A look of content fell over Kasai as he smiled softly, "Thank you, Granduncle. You saved me from dying, didn't you? Was that why I knew exactly what I needed to do?"
"Yes, you'd be correct. I want you to be a part of his life, teach him a thing or two, eh?Perhaps tell him more about me as well. Good luck, Grand Nephew, I'll be watching over you." Kyojuro smiled.
"Yes sir! I won't let you down!" Kasai nodded.
With everything said and done, the heroes began to cleanup the place as best as they could. Leonidus buried those who had been killed in the attack, he sat in silent prayer in front of their graves, Rei walked over and stood next to him.
"Hey... I um..." Rei faltered.
Leonidus didn't say a word to her until he stopped praying, "If you're going to apologize, then don't. If anything, I should be apologizing to you, Kaminari and you fought that guy and lived. Ever since I met you, I've always been so rude and careless, almost as if I'm just annoyed by your existence. I shouldn't be so cruel to someone who's life has always been like that."
"W-Wait... You know about that? How?"
"When you were still asleep, I was fighting off those appendages from killing you, I had my Overdrive active just in case I wasn't fast enough to take out one of them. Every now and then, I'm able to see into people's memories thanks to the Seventh Plane. I saw almost everything that happened to you in your life." Leonidus explained.
Rei sat down next to Leonidus, "So, I'm sorry for acting the way I have been to you."
Setsuko simply rested her head on Alyx's shoulder without saying a word. Rei had finally heard the words she's been waiting for all her life. The heroes returned to the Butterfly Mansion to treat their wounds.
"YOU'RE GETTING BLOOD ON THE FLOOR!!!" A Kakushi screamed.
"He's been bleeding for 20 minutes and nobody has done anything yet!" Kasai remarked.
Several Kakushi quickly treated Leonidus' and Kasai's wounds before treating Rei and Kaminari. Alyx sat there in thought in the infirmary room, rubbing his injured side, Setsuko snaked over to his bed quietly.
"Boo!" Rei shouted.
"FUCK!"
He quickly looked over at Rei, "Don't do that! I might explode!"
"W-What?!" Rei giggled.
"Yeah! If I get scared my Quirk acts up and things go 'kablewy'! So just don't scare me like that, it's happened before and it's not pleasant!"
"Oooooh okay! I getcha!"
Alyx placed his hand on his lap, "I wonder how Mom's doing..."
"Hm? What was that? You kinda muttered whatever it was you just said."
"Oh, I was just thinking outloud. Excuse me for one second please."
Leonidus got up from his bed and looked through his bag for his house key. He grabbed it before hobbling out of the infirmary. He flew towards his home, occasionally clutching his left side, it took him longer than usual to fly home because of his injury. He landed down in front of his home's door and turned the handle, it opened, he walked in to see Kariya watching TV on the couch.
"You didn't lock the door?" Alyx questioned.
"Gives me a reason to 'defend myself' against a villain."
Leonidus sighed as he shut the door behind him, "Where's Mom at, Kariya? Is she doing alright?"
"She's upstairs in her room, I've tried to get in but her door's locked, so I haven't had any luck. Annie and I have been taking care of Lizzie since Dad passed."
Alyx nodded before turning towards the stairs, he made his way up to his Mother's room. He knocked on the door only to be met with silence.
"Hey, Mom? It's me, Alyx, is..." Alyx's voice trailed off.
Leonidus looked down at the knob, "𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦."
Alyx heard the door unlock, he slowly turned the door knob and entered the room. He saw his mother holding his father's very first hero suit in her arms. Alyx sat down next to her and put his hand on her back.
"I don't want to lose any of you... I don't..." Marie lethargically mumbled.
"Mom? Hey... I promise you that you won't lose any of us."
Marie looked to her right, "Alyx...? When... When did you..."
Alyx looked had his mother's face, it radiated a sadness he never imagined before, he gave Marie a hug.
"I won't die, Mom. If being alive is what makes you smile, then I refuse to die, no matter what."
He stopped hugging her and placed his hand on her head. He gave her a smile, in Alyx's place, Marie saw a younger Darren sitting in front of her with the very same smile.
"You've grown so much... You truly have..." Marie sniffled.
"I guess so, Mom, I guess so."
[The Next Morning...]
Alyx began to pack his things up after checking his wound. Denki woke up and stretched in his bed, he looked over to see that Leonidus was leaving.
"H-Hey, where are you going? We aren't leaving for a mission are we?" Kaminari yawned.
"Mr. Ubuyashiki is taking me to my Grandmother. It's about time that we settle things, regardless of what the outcome may be."
"Hang on, you're going on your own!? You can't do that!"
"This is a family matter, I've been wanting to deal with this for quite some time. I'll be okay!"
Kaminari hesitatingly nodded before letting Leonidus exit the room. Alyx met Mr. Ubuyashiki outside of the Butterfly Mansion, the two walked towards a helicopter that was ready to take them to their destination.
"Are you certain you wish to go alone? I can have one of the Pillars accompany you." Mr. Ubuyashiki suggested.
"No, I'll be alright. Thank you though, Mr. Ubuyashiki."
Mr. Ubuyashiki nodded and waved the pilot off as Leonidus entered the helicopter. Soon, the helicopter came back but without Leonidus, this confused Ubuyashiki greatly.
"Where's Alyx? You were supposed to bring him back." He recalled.
"I dunno, I waited there for hours and nothing, I got out to see where he went and found some weird looking base. I didn't hear any sort of fighting going on whatsoever. He told me to leave as soon as the sun started to set if he wasn't back."
A couple days passed and still no word from Alyx, before Mr. Ubuyashiki could send out a search party, he heard Kaminari's voice shouting with glee.
"He's back?! He's at the dorms?! Awesome! Hang on, we'll be right there!" Kaminari exulted.
Kaminari rushed out of the room with Bakugo and Rei. Mr. Ubuyashiki quickly gathered Ongaku Uzui, Fujin Shinazugawa, Etsuko Iguro, and Akua Tomioka before departing with the students towards U.A. High. Meanwhile, at the dorm grounds, Alyx had made a crash landing in front of Heights Alliance!
"Alyx! The hell have you been man? It's been forever!" Kirishima bubbled.
Kirishima stopped smiling as Alyx still had his back turned towards him. Momo walked up next to Eijiro and gently grabbed Alyx's arm.
"Is everything-" Momo wondered.
Leonidus suddenly flung Yaoyorozu to the side, she slammed into a tree, breaking it in half! Kirishima used his Quirk to hardened and ready himself for whatever comes his way. Shoto quickly grabbed Kirishima and tackled him out of the way of Alyx's fist.
"Alyx! What are you doing?!" Todoroki shouted.
As the smoke cleared, Shoto saw that Leonidus had some sort of seal covering his face. Yaoyorozu got up to her feet, she looked over and studied the seal on Alyx's face.
"Kirishima! Go get Mr. Aizawa, quick! Everyone else should be home soon! Todoroki and I can handle him!" Momo yelled.
Kirishima nodded without arguing and ran as quick as he could towards U.A. High. Alyx looked behind him then back towards Todoroki.
"𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒈𝒐𝒂𝒍... 𝑰𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑰𝒛𝒖𝒌𝒖 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒚𝒂!" Daniela's voice echoed.
His eyes began to glow a bright gold through the seal mask. Shoto and Momo prepared themselves to holdout as long as they could against their now brainwashed classmate!
