Just as the two were about to curse at each other, a sudden disturbance in the barrier attracted their attention.
20 men in black cloaks stepped all wearing a black masks with a flame in the middle.
One of the men said.
"Hey, it's just two kids here, I can even slaughter them by myself."
A man on the side rebuked.
"Don't underestimate them, Bacchus is a Peak C-rank mage himself, and the little kid next to him is the rising star of fairy tail with low C-rank strength at the very least."
The first man was astonished and then became excited.
"Killing Geniuses, Now that's something interesting."
Looking at the 20 cloaked men, John said to Bacchus.
"Hey, Hey it looks like we are being underestimated."
Bacchus took a sip of wine from his gourd and let out a satisfied sound.

John waved his hand and summoned 15 Snow Lynx puppets that he made in the last two weeks or so.
All 15 puppets possess Low C-rank Strength.
"It's indeed worthy of the rising stars of fairy tail, able to bring out 15 Low C-rank puppets at the same time."
The man leading all the other cloaked men said.
"But if you think you can win against us with just this then you are very mistaken."

As the one on the lead said that his body started to glow with a red light that then slowly spreads to his other teammates.
With each more connected teammate, their aura became stronger.
John watched the group of mages forming an array while thinking that the guild behind this action is very proficient in arrays.
After dealing with this ambush he should try to get out the secret method of arrays from these mages, as it will help his strength more the more puppets ha have.
It will be even better if he can knock out the location of the guild and ransack it and see if they have stronger arrays.
But he did not continue to watch the enemy form a formation isn't that making it hard for himself for no reason?
The mouths of the 15 Puppets opened and beams started gathering that then fired into lasers at 15 enemies on the opposite side.
Seeing this the leader on the opposite side said shit!
He didn't care if he only have 15 members and immediately sacrificed the non-connected members and use flames to make a shield to resist the attacks.

An explosion happened in front of John and Bacchus but they were unaffected as John had already put down the Iron tortoise totem.
After the shockwave was done spreading and the dust settled what appeared in front is a red barrier with 15 cloaked men inside, with a big hole in the ground in the front of the barrier.
As for the 5 other men well, their body parts are scattered all over the big hole with traces of scorched flesh on the body parts.
The beams of light were from a recent interest of John.
John before heading for the campsite went and bought guns from a magic equipment store.
He discovered that the strength of the guns was directly proportional to the limit of ethernano a lacryma can take.
So he bought 32 ready-made gun lacrymas and installed them inside the new puppets he was making.
Allowing his puppets to have a stronger long-range attack.
"What a ruthless attack from a child."
The leader of the cloaked men said.
"Showing mercy to enemies is being ruthless with oneself. If you intend to kill me then you should be prepared to be killed by me."
John said with a cold voice that does not match his image.
"Hey, Hey now that you have your fun, can I now play?"
Bacchus on the side asked with a wide smile while looking at the red barrier.
"I want to try something first and see if I can crack this barrier."
Just as he was about to try something a huge fire whip came and attacked the barrier of the Iron Tortoise totem.
Bacchus quickly moved and rescued John and put him at the end of the field.
"Just stay here obediently okay? With their array, the opponent's strength has reached the same level as mine."
But as if not hearing anything John just stood there with a pale face and sweat all over his body.
