Chapter 72: Deliora

*June 21, Year 774*

*Spring Lake Town*

Looking at the small town destroyed to the ground, John and the others don't know what to say. They landed on the ground as they roamed the town, as for losing Gray? John already sent one raven to monitor him.

They looked at the wrecked houses, unfinished bowls of food, and toys of kids scattered on the ground, then at the huge gash that runs through the town dividing it in half at the center of the lake in the middle of the town.

As they walked, they seem to see a bright lively town with children playing on the streets, when suddenly a huge beam of light came from the horizon instantly destroying more than half of the town.

They seem to see the people fleeing, the children crying, the men dying, and the despair of the whole town as Deliora destroyed it.

Everyone kept silent as they looked at this town, then they just found one of the most intact buildings left and built their camp there for the night.

While drinking porridge and looking at Gray from time to time, but in one of the glances, John's expression changed.

If not for the vision of the Raven Puppet he wouldn't have seen a huge giant in the horizon, and that giant is slowly heading in the direction of Gray.

John stood up directly and shouted. "Stop eating! I saw Deliora heading in Gray's direction!"

Ur and the others were shocked, and quickly went out of the house and hopped on the phoenix, and John guided them to the direction of Gray.

Good thing the phoenix only need a burst of magic energy to create and needs little magic energy to operate, other than fighting of course.

Another good thing is that Gray didn't travel too far from Spring Lake Town, so they were able to quickly reach the location of Gray.

They hid in the clouds as they watched Gray running towards Deliora with great anger and determination on his face.

Standing 300 meters behind Deliora, Gray did an Ice make stance as he shouted.

"Ice Make: Ice Lance!"

An ice-blue magic circle appeared in front of him that then shot hundreds of lances at Deliora causing a small smoke cloud to appear.

But after the cloud disappeared no damage was done to Deliora, not even a scratch appeared on the body, but due to the attack Deliora stopped and looked at Gray.

BANG!

An explosion went off in Gray's head as Deliora stared at him, it was like Deliora's figure became a towering giant that surpassed the clouds in his vision.

But, even with the shaking of his body with fear, Gray still did his stance as he fired one spell after another at Deliora.

One attack after another landed on Deliora's body but no attack even put a scratch on his body as he took slow steps toward Gray.

And after 8 steps, Deliora is already only 100 meters in front of Gray. At this moment Gray's face was full of bitterness, rage, and sadness.

"I'm sorry master, but it looks like I won't be able to return and fill up the empty room you left for me." He muttered in great sadness as he closed his eyes.

Then he felt something clamp his body and he was lifted up into the air, when he opened his eyes he saw that his thousands of meters away from Deliora in an instant.

He then heard a voice from above, "Hmph! You have not even said goodbye yet, how could you possibly die?"

He looked up to see that he was grasped by an ice phoenix, it then threw him on its back and there he saw many familiar faces.

Ur, Lyon, Ultear, John, Cana, and Sebastian, all the people that he knew and get along well with are here.

"Ur-Sensei...." Gray wanted to say something, but the more he thought so the more he found out that he has nothing to say.

Ur just smiled and rubbed his head and said. "It's alright, If this Deliora is the cause of my disciple's sadness, then I'll just defeat it for you."

After that, she had the ice phoenix take them to a mountain far enough to not be affected by the fight, but can still see the fight.

She dropped them off, and while she was talking with Gray and the others, John pulled Sebastian away from the place and asked.

"Sebastian, tell me what price to pay for you to make a move at a critical moment?"

"Then what type of move would you like me to make? Suppress it so that you guys can escape? Seal it for another time? or Kill it once and for all?" Sebastian asked with a hippie smile, with interest flashing in his eyes.

"Is there any difference between the three?" John asked with uncertainty.

"Of course there is."

"If you picked the first one I'll suppress Deliora enough so that you guys will be able to escape, the price is the same as that time with the midnight masquerade."

"If you picked the second one, I'll seal Deliora for 20 years enough time for you to be strong enough and use its body and soul as materials. The price is you'll do one thing for me unconditionally."

"And If you picked the last one, I'll kill Deliora so that he won't be able to resurrect anymore. The price is you'll do three things for me unconditionally."

"Sebastian.... The things that I need to do, can it be so that it does not go against my belief?"

"Don't worry, although it won't go against your belief, it will definitely embarrass you enough," Sebastian said with a sly smile. "So tell me, What are you gonna chose? Suppress? Seal? or Kill?"

[Author Mini-Series:

"You Dogshit author, come out for the lord!"

A loud shout woke the author up as he look at the prison cell with a confused face.

The cloaked man walked in and kicked the author causing him to slam against the wall, he then slid down and curled himself in a fetal position due to the pain.

He looked up with difficulty and confusion evident on his face. The cloaked man grabbed him by the hair and lifted him up face to face.

"You have the guts to not put my series in the last chapter! And what's worse is you are even trying to cancel it?!"

"What do you take me for, HUH?!"

The author tried to speak with great difficulty as he coughed. "Cough* It was.. an accident I swear... It's not me that did it."

The cloaked man grunted as he tossed the author on the floor causing him to groan in pain.

"Remember this warning, I want to see the next chapter with my series to be included, If I don't see it then, Hmph." The cloaked man snorted as he left the prison cell.]
