Chapter 15: Chapter No.12 Champion
Well after dealing with Milim I immediately escaped the scene of the crime
and after some time people gathered around a podium of some kind and I decided to check it out, but then I heard someone say
"So, uh, a new companion will be staying with us, she's an important guest so treat her with the utmost respect, now, a word from the person herself"
And that was continued by the one I just had a fight against, with
"I'm Milim Nava! from today onwards I'll be living here from today on! Nice to meet you!"
'Wait a second, why does she decide to live here? This is a bad idea! She's literally like a ball of energy that can do whatever she wants blowing up anything and everything! Welp, at least she can repel anything that comes up'

"That's me, Rimuru's friend, so you can rely on me if anything comes up"
and so that's how the deadliest Demon Lord became best friends with my father
---------------------------Some time later---------------------------
I was eating with the group, Rimuru, Benimaru, Shion, Soei and Shuna, except there was one magical abnormality, Milim, she was currently enjoying curry, like a child, asking for seconds as soon as she finished, when in reality, she's an unstoppable Demon Lord, only to be matched by the power of honey,
"I still can't believe that honey actually worked"
I muttered in a somewhat annoyed tone, I ended up ignoring the conversation going on, it was something about honey, sweets and some kind of sugar alliance...?
some time later after some discussion Rimuru was forced to take care of Milim, but suddenly he took me down with him!
so Rimuru went to the textile shop, with Milim and me, afterwards Rimuru had some business, so in the shop was only me Milim and Shuna, as Milim was looking through all the clothes I decided to find something for casual ware but peace was nothing when you were near Milim, so some time later she flew out of the shop, and to stop her, sensing her intentions I said
"Don't, Rimuru might take away your dinner!"
which stopped her in her tracks, and so I asked
"What were you going to do?"
she simply said
"that guy over there attacked your friend, so I was going to teach him a lesson"
to that I retorted
"Remember what Rimuru said, no violence, when you want to beat up someone, you tell me first, about your reason, and I'll beat them up for you if you have a good reason, OK?"
Milim noded in understanding
and so I engaged in combat with the beastman
"Hey now, don't attack someone just because they said something that hurt your feelings when they didn't even mean to do it"
I said mockingly, preparing for hand to hand combat
"*tch* another fool"
responded the man
"oh come on, did you get cocky after defeating a hobgoblin?"
the man then attacked me out of anger, I used <Thought Acceleration> to carefully analyse his movement and prepare a counter,
After dodging his claw I sidestepped, caught his wrist, and applied pressure to his elbow, putting him into the ground with my overwhelming strength, put my knee on his back and prepared to brake his arm without causing any damage to anyone,
"Hey Rigurudo, I have a potion in my small bag, you can take it to heal your face,
I said, than Rigurudo took the potions and splashed it on his face healing it completely, then I asked
"Hey, Milim-san, how do you want him beaten up?"
and unlike herself, Milim took out a marker she got from who knows and drew a mustache on the man, and as she did that I thought,
'Ah, beating him up with humiliation, I see'
then, Rimuru came, but it seems Soei already reported what has happened, so at least we weren't in any trouble,
and so we decided to change location, I will remind you that Milim used a permanent marker, that mustache isn't coming off any time soon,
and so we began in the meeting room,
"so what did you guys come to do?"
"I don't intend to tell the likes of a slime"
the man apparently named Phobio responded
"In that case, I'm sure your master is quite the big shot"
"Are you stupid? Of course he is! Don't tell me you have never heard of Karion"
"Be careful of what you say, you picked a fight with us, depending on your attitude we can assume hostile relations right now, is making the entirety of the Great Jura Forest your enemy, your decision to make or Karion's?"
Well to shorten what Phobio said, They were ordered to scout out ones who won the fight between us and the orcs, and invite them to serve under Karion, that was all, and it probably means that other Demon Lords have their eyes on us
"Tell Demon Lord Karion, if he contacts us on another day we will negotiate with him"
and so Phobio left, and we didn't have anything new that day but tomorrow, apparently we had some uninvited guests, that Gobuta brought
"So we have visitors"
the goblin announced, and so Rimuru asked
"What do they need?"
To which the response was
"No Idea!"
"Excuse me... My name is Fuze, I am the guild master in Burmund Kingdom, I was to meet you, so I asked Gobuta here to guide us"
Said the black haird man with a scar
"To meet with me?"
asked the slime
"It was around ten months ago, that I received a report from these fellows after their scout of the forest, first I'd like to thank you for mourning our guild's hero, I am sorry for the late apology"
Said Fuze
"No problem, but I imagine there's more to your trip than an apology"
answerd the slime
"Yes, well a few months ago, in the Burmund guild, rumour was going around that an Orc Lord had appeared, and an investigation revealed it as the truth soon after, and just when we had prepared to flee, that man appeared in my office and told us that the Orc Lord has been defeated by you, indeed, the Orc Lord was no more, however knowing that the victors were monsters, it is hard for us humans to consider it a settled case"
To that paragraph of words Rimuru responded
"So you came with the same intentions as the Dwarf King"
confused, the guild master said
"Dwarf King? He came?"
"Yes, King Gazel came to visit me aswell, then we signed an alliance with the nation of dwargon"
answered the slime, then someone that was previously of high position came in
"Please excuse me, Rimuru-sama how are we going to sell that- Ah pardon me, we have guests"
"Sorry Bester, we can talk later"
"No problem, it can wait"
then all of a sudden Fuze yelled
"THE PRIME MINISTER OF DWARGON BESTER!?
"Yup, ex-minister now, he's working hard with Kaijin as our research and technician"
Fuze.exe has stopped working
"then what did you come here for"
"Before that I want to ask, why is the slime the one doing all the talking, does no-one else find it odd!? It's a slime for f#@k's sake, a slime! Not to mention all the strong looking guys in the back, what is this jiggly thing acting all haughty for!?"
Said the somewhat reasonable man
"That's rude"
Retorted Shion
"Shut up, boobs!"
Said the somewhat rude man which resulted in a sheathed sword falling on his head
"Ah, oops"
"Don't "Ah, oops" me"
said Rimuru
"What you said first was a reasonable question, but "Shut up, boobs" is just sexual harassment, and for your question, it's not an ordinary slime"
I said
"Um we are an investigation team of Falmouth Kingdom, this is our chief, Youmu, and I am the overseer, Ronmel, it was by pure chance that we were able to meet you, but we are lucky to find out that the Orc Lord is already no more, it is a very risky operation, yet thanks to our Lord's frugal spending, the team is not suitably equipped..."
Said the kid with glasses
"I'm surprised none of them have run off yet"
said the slime
"That's why I'm travelling with them, they're all strictly bound with magical contracts as well, well all the contracts have been undone, though"
to what I said
"weren't you supposed to overseer them?"
"Yup, but I decided to follow Youmu instead"
Said the kid, seems that the kid looks up to him
"Than why didn't you run away"
Asked the slime Youmu, you were sent on a risky mission, with cheep equipment, from what I heard, you don't seem like the type to please your employer"
asked the unordinary slime
"I know that, if no-one scouts out the Orc Lord, the city's people would be in danger, right?"
he said as he put his legs on the table
"That city's houses, shitty old men and women and some shitty brats on top of that, don't misunderstand, it's just that their deaths would leave a bad taste in my mouth, I would like to see the panicked face of that Earl, but as Ronmel said the Lord already lined his pockets with tax money"
said Youmu, even if he has no manners (not that I have any), and his words are as sharp as they get, he's surprisingly a nice guy
"Which means he had no counter measure against the Orc Lord, and the Lord put us together in a panic"
Added Ronmel
"In the first place, they would never send a kid like him on such a risky mission, maybe an experienced wizard or two would sound more like it, you can taste the corruption"
Youmu said grabbing the kids head
"by the way you saved Kabal's party I would like to thank you as their friend"
"To be honest I don't think I was of much help, the most I could do was repel some of the night spider's attacks, the one who saved them was that weirdo over there"
he said pointing at Gobuta
Suddenly Rimuru went into deep thought, after a while of being close to him I was able to somewhat gues what he was thinking, and although it was weird it was good and so he said
"Fuze, does the public know of the Orc Lord's defeat?
just when Fuze.exe finished restarting he said
"No not yet, the only ones that were present were the trio and me, the only other one who knows is the minister of Burmund and the King"
"Alright Youmu, do you want to be a champion?"
