Chapter 17: Chapter no.14 The Fight, and Karion
From the what I overheard about Charybdis, it is bloodthirsty monster that can revive if given enough time, that is accompanied by huge sharks called megalodon, and is highly resistant to magic because of it's skill <Magical Jamming> but I should be able to get past it with <Magicule Area>, and it also has instant regeneration speed with <High Speed Regeneration> but my <Eyes Of Hate> should be able to nullify that... wait a minute, I'm a complete counter to this thing, but as I was thinking about that on the to be battlefield, I heard
"Heheheh, aren't you forgetting someone? Who do you think I am, some big fish is nothing to be afraid of!"
to Milim I answered
"I agree with the statement that that thing is not scary, but we would like to do it ourselves, before relying on an all-powerful Demon Lord, you will be our last resort, even if you are Rimuru's friend, this is our home and we will entrust it to others, only when we have no other choice, so please understand, when we have done everything we could we will not hesitate to call upon you"
"I... see"
Was her only words, well I've seen how people change, anyone's trust is hard to earn, unless they are simple minded or a fool,

"That's right, Milim! Just trust me"
eventually, with refuse, Rimuru agreed, well technically he had no choice
and so it has come, the first to attack was Benimaru with <Hell Flare>, at it's full power not even ashes are spared, but now, what resulted was one overcooked megalodon, and everything else wasn't even scratched, it left everything to the megalodons, looking at it Geld and gabil are working together well, it's like they never were on the opposite sides of war, Soei did the megalodons a bit dirty, he used one and made it attack another one, Shion was as straightforward as always, cutting two at once, but I never thought that Shion and Ranga would team up, and Hakuro diced the final one for dinner,
it seems that Charybdis is done watching, a weird sound was being made, and a storm of scales came showering down, I had nothing to worry about because of <Impenetrable Skin> and <Unbreakable Bones>, but I had to worry more about the others, but Rimuru saved them, I don't know what it was, but it looked like an all eating skill, and I assume it's name is <Gluttony>, as that was what he called it out by, then it looked like he tried to use it on its body, but it only left a mark, and so it was focused on Rimuru, and everyone decided to attack it, and five hours have passed, after that long, Charybdis seemed to tire, but it was nowhere near death, and so I decided to do this myself,
"Rimuru, order everyone to retreat if they don't want scars that even your potions can't heal, there might be stray explosions all around"
And so as I waited for everyone to escape, I turned on my <Eyes of Hate> and <Slash> at it, and it's entire left side was cut of, to explain this, <Slash> is a skill that consumes more magicules the bigger the target is, in return for cutting it from one side to another, unless it is blocked or deflected, also <Eyes of Hate> also consumes more the larger the damage it is, it took about 10% of my magicules, but even Shion would die from overusing her magicules, Benimaru might be able to barely withstand the usage, and so Charybdis was scared shitless, but because it had lost half of it's body and fell of balance, it fell to the ground and so, I cut of it's other side, now being just a meaty rectangle
"Well, he's all yours now"
I said as Charybdis' form began to disappear, and what was seen was only Phobio, that had a kind of cyst where his heart was, which I assumed to be Charybdis, and so, Rimuru invoked <Shapeshifter> to separate Charybdis and Phobio, and <Gluttony> to eat anything that escapes, and so the cyst disappeared from Phobio and his magicules have yet to disappear, it was a resounding success
"Seems like you've gotten stronger once again"
and so we waited till Phobio woke up, and immediately
"I'm so sorry, I deeply regret my own actions, what I've done is of my of my own actions, and has nothing to do with Karion's orders, I beg of you, please spare my life"
"Do you really think that we want to kill you, when we just saved you, instead you'll answer some questions, how in the world did you find and break Charybdis' seal"
to my question his answer was
"I was told by two clowns, one that looked like a child with a tear on her mask calling herself Tear, and a big fat man called Footman with an angry mask"
the second mention seemed to alarm Benimaru, as if making sure he won't forget it, and so to that Geld mentioned,
"I'm positive the greater Demon who served Gelmud as his envoy, going by the same name and the appearance you described, and is part of some moderate club..."
"The moderate clown troupe"
added Phobio witch was continued by Gabil, who I still had a negative opinion of
"I belive there was another envoy of Gelmud, called Laplace, with a winking mask and a headpiece that looked like the ears of a bunny"
then interrupting us Milim said
"Though Gelmud was the one that organised the Orc Lord thing, I've never heard about the moderate clown troupe, I would have wanted to meet such an interesting bunch, Good grief that Gelmud"
but after a short pause she continued
"Ah, what if it wasn't Gelmud, but Clayman who was pulling the strings"
to that I say
"Clayman who?"
(AN - TOO SOON #RIPClayman, he tried his best)
"He's a Demon Lord, and a sly one at that, he's the only one that would resort to such underhanded tricks"
and so interrupting I said
"And Phobio, be careful on your way back, but it seems you won't need to, it seems that your Lord has come to take you back"
"Oh? I didn't think that anyone else other than Milim would notice me, but anyway thank you for sparing that one's life"
Said the Beast King
"So you are Demon Lord Karion, I am Rimuru Tempest, the one who rules the monsters country"
"You're telling me that a slime rules over a..."
before he could finish looking down on him
"You ate the Orc Lord didn't you"
"Yeah, and?
as Rimuru said that Karion took a deep breath and started laughing
HAHAHAHA, HOW AMUSING, no wonder Milim was so curious, I'm sorry for the trouble my subordinate has caused, if you would, please forgive me for this incident, and as an apology, I will take on any request you may have for me"
this Demon Lord is quite nice
"... in that case would you please sign a non aggression pact with us?"
said Rimuru
"Also can you tell me more about Fenrirs, if someone would know about them, it would be non other than the one know as Beastmaster, right?"
very well, I Beastmaster Karion hereby swear, That Yuurazania, will never bare it's fangs towards Tempest, and you, I will take your request with pleasure, it is the utmost honour of any beastman to be relied upon by a legendary Fenrir"
meanwhile Phobio, as if his head was about to explode, just realised that he endangered a city where a Fenrir lives, he thought that he was screwed for his entire life, and was just as he finished taking that in his face was smashed into the ground by the Beastmaster's pure strength, making the sound of a small cannon,
"Really, what am I going to do with you, come on, let's go"
(How much does he even work out, also I think he's bleeding sir)
"I will send an envoy in a few days time, I'll have to thank you properly when the time comes, Until next time Rimuru and Fenrir"

It seems that Rimuru was called to be a state guest in Dwargon, no way I'm not coming, and Phobio came as a courier, unlike the first encounter he acts with poise, bringing news from Yuurazania, and letters from Karion talking about Fenrirs, always gotta write back, basic courtesy, and he should at least know my name, we eventually became good friends, and a few days later Milim left as suddenly as she came, apparently she's got work to do? I didn't think she had a job, but who knows with her and soon after the delegates from our country headed of to Yuurazania, but I have a bad feeling sending Benimaru there but not like I care anyway, also Youmu came here, he has to hone his strength, its been a while since we last fought, and he will be joining us on welcoming Yuurazania's delegates, and once again a few days later, they came on carriage drawn by tigers, and the first one to exit was well mannered and beautiful,
"It is nice to meet you, Lord and Master of the Great Jura Forest, I am one of Karion's Three Beastkeers, also known as the Golden Horn, Anubis, and when the I'll mannered woman came out, I gave up any hope, I just blocked of any sound coming towards me, sat down crossed legged, arms crossed, eyes closed and decided to ignore all of the stupidity around us, but they were so loud that it peirced my sound Barrier, popping a vein I imbued magicules to my voice and shouted
"COUD YOU ALL, FOR F#@KS SAKE STOP THIS COMPLETE IDIOCY!!!"
and my words echoed across the lands for miles stunning everyone in their tracks
"why dose everyone want to fight, this was supposed to be a f#@king talk for diplomacy, not the start of a f#@king war" and then I realise that they were about to end the battles,
"And you Shion are one of the biggest idiots here, do you want to wipe this place off of the map!? anyway can anyone take care of the ticking time nuke?"
then a slime entered the conversation
"Good grief, you're as hopeless as ever, shion fire it"
"Bu- bu- but"
"trust me it'll be fine"
"Ye- yes"
and as the nuke comes at Rimuru, he promptly erases it with <Gluttony>, and so, some surprised some in awe and some in great relief *especially Shion*
"It seems like you were testing us, and I think it's safe to assume that we passed? at first it seemed like you were just an idiot though"
"You are right, I would expect no less from a friend of Karion, we are grateful to make your acquaitance"
"As are we, welcome to Tempest"
