Chapter 3: New Village Beauty
"Female, what are you doing here by yourself?" A strange elder voice calls to her.
Sasha turns to see what looks like an elder, at first looks he seems quite harmless. If you were to keep those thoughts without looking deeper, you would miss something very important.
'That smell,… the ears? A fox!'
The cunningness becomes far more evident, as you notice the face of the villages seem unable to move. At first they were blushing and happy, this Fox elder had drained even the blush from their faces.
"Elder, I'm pleased to meet you."
Sasha bows in respect to the elder, 'This cunning fox, hmm he is probably coming to see if he needs to force me out of town.'
"I'm new here to this area, I was hoping I could rest my head in town a short while." Seeming oddly suspicious of the graying elder. 'Silver fox' is all Sasha can think of as she is waiting for his response.
"Well if that is the case, feel welcomed. Hmm…" Opening one eye, an eye the color of a ruby iced my age, "Just may I ask what you are wearing? Those are some strange style I have yet to see before."
That comment had shot through Sasha body with tremendous weight, 'How.. has he figured me out already? Mother I hope these gems you told me never to leave and your knowledge we now share will be enough.' Straightening herself and smiling,
"These were clothes me and my mother worked on together, they are made from the fibers or skins of animals. It may look different but that is just simply because my mother was very inventive and let me take our work with me when I left to find a husband. Sorry if my clothes were too much of a surprise village elder." With this Sasha has done her best to disperse the suspicious of the villagers, especially the elder.
"Well those are all things I can accept, but one more question."
"Yes what could it be fox elder?"
"Well you seem very strong, like a fighter. Why is that?"
"I want an only child and so I had plenty of time to myself. I wanted to ensure my protection so like the males I trained. Strange maybe but not impossible for you to understand, I would hope." Staying as sweet as she could as to not have him look further into her words, as that was the only truth she had for what was just asked of her.
"I see, you must have been quite the unruly child. You have come into your manners and beauty quite well, I assume you have no males yet."
"That is right elder, I have yet to find a male I'm pleased with."
"Well feel free to pick any of the single males in the village."
"Thank you, am I free to pick a home to stay in from those single males as well?"
"Well if that's was you wish it I won't stop you from making place with someone single."
All the villages staring, again the excitement and color coming back to their face. They cheered for the decision of the elders, just as Luke and Tyme entered the village did all already know. Sasha already had the single male villagers and even some females beckoning her to their house.
Disgruntled both Luke and Tyme approach the crowd trying to sweep Sasha to their homes. "I would move if I were you guys, I have already decided to chase her." Luke said with the bass of his voice, this caused the crowd to thin and turned to meet the two approaching.
"She's being chased by those two already?"
"Does that mean we should just go?"
"We could watch a moment to find out."
The crowd waiting with anticipation to see the outcome of the three's interaction.
"Sasha, why stay with those who can't protect you? You after all much be aware of the levels we both have. So why bother when you only have two choices?"
"Mm, I am inclined to agree with Luke, tho his speech is tasteless. We would be better fits to protect you say any danger comes. So please pick me and you will stay safe within my wings."
The crowd mostly enamored by the situation stared blankly at Sasha. Some female rolling their eyes others blushing and the men well, they were praying Sasha would neglect their offers and so they could have a chance.
A face illresponsed to the boasting of the two males before her. Bored by their pitiful displays of power, without hesitation or emotion goes on to give her response.
"If you don't remember what I said out in the meadow or plains, in which you two were fighting, that I would only chose from you two if I had no other choice. Seeing the crowd of people encircling me, I have quite the few to pick from."
This causes the more hothead Luke to turn a red only described by crimson. "You care not if the males you are seen with are worthy? You are in fact a strange gal, so strange just like your clothes. It's your lose to not have a wonderfully strong male like me on your arm."
Luke stomping off with his arrogant ego was harmed by the cold words that had left Sasha's mouth. Tyme shocked but not showing it as he has more sense than to go off at the mouth like Luke.
"Well seeing as you have shot us down, and Luke is already on his way, I'll be going myself. I hope you find a nice house to rest in." Bowing as his pained but eloquent voice finally stopped the guilt trip continued by every word.
"That's the end of …."
With the disappearance of the strongest member having left, the normal villagers continue about trying to catch our beautiful Sasha's attention. After a long while of gawking and shouting at her, she chose a kind looking female. Her name was Amber, kind and well put together, allowed the new village beauty to share a house with her.
"Hello, my name is Sasha Mirian, I am pleases to make your acquaintance. Could I now have your name?" Said in sync with the bending and raising of her head.
"Mine is Amber, and this is Peace Beast Meadow. We very rarely have any kind of guest or disturbances, that is how we came into the name of Peace Beast Meadow. I mean, the meadow is quite pretty as well."
"Yes I have seen it on my way into town I would have to agree, soo beautiful."
After some moments of silence and just staring at each other, one opens her mouth and let out words that can't be taken back.
"What clan are you from?"
