Chapter 3: Hell No! / The Beginning
Woke up with the worst headache: it was the most ear ringing and on bearable migraine ever, wasn't even aware of my surroundings yet and how not chick and on cool I looked.
It took me about thirty minutes to figure out I wasn't in LA anymore (imagine a selfie in this surroundings- #into the woods/love nature)
"But seriously, where the hell am I?" I thought out loud asI reached for my phone and there was know freaking cell service, like the hell.
If only I stayed home, if I had listened to my instincts this horror movie wouldn't have happened to me.
I should listen to my guts more often.
As my mind wondered off in thoughts, I heard voices coming towards where I was standing, it sounded like a woman's voices (two women to be precised) it sounded like an argument of some sort.
I payed more attention to their conversation. Shit, they ain't speaking English or any language I knew of.
Where the hell did this stupid science onion ring send me off to?
I hid myself in a cave near the river as much as I could, so as not to be seen, not because I looked bad, definitely not but because I can't let them see my dressed like a low class civilian, am a 21 century bad ass bitch and I gotta dress the part.
The two women came closer to the stream, to fetch their waters, they looked funny and dressed weird
I began to look around my surroundings in search for a better hideout, suddenly my eyes drew my attention back to the details in the background as I looked around and my body tired from the walk to this spot.....too many rocks.
It was quite beautiful, calm and peaceful, good for painting. The younger woman got a bit close to the cave I was comfortable and cozying up too.
I was able to see her faces, it looks like.....She's Asian. Dark silky long straightened hair, I guess now I know why she dressed funny (that gown must feel uncomfortable!)now that I see her closely, she's a teenager, or at least it looked like it and she's kind of cute (the innocent kind of cute, with big eyes and dimples) baby face.
As the older woman fetched her pot, the young girl wondered about, investigating her surroundings playfully, picking flowers and sniffing them as she placed them in her hair.
I definitely hate flowers, too colourful. She came closer to the cave the one I was hiding in, seriously why that one? sigh.
The older woman called out and yelled something to her, she replied and continued her search to a tree a bit further from the cave....I sighed in relief.
I watched carefully, as she visited a tree, it was a cherry blossom tree, it was beautiful and this is the first time am see it in person too..... Japan. I saw it a lot on line when I surf through Tokyo blogs...sigh
A snake suddenly came from God knows where and she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings to notice it. It almost beat her; can't let that happen I thought as I ran out, tried fighting it off with what I learn't in camping one O one but she seem more terrified of me and my so unfashionable life choices than the snake which is really aggressive.
I tried to show her I wasn't a threat just the snake at the moment for being disturbed, I gave a little smile, an a big one with teeth and all just to put her to ease.
I think my teeth terrified her, too white....maybe I shouldn't have showed her my teeth but whatever as I reached for a broken branch to drive the angry snake off.
Dude wasn't taking no for an answer, it wasn't to sink it's fangs into her and now me too for interfering and kept hissing back at us.
I pulled the young girl behind me keeping her in my protection, I reached for the snake as it aggressively throw itself at us in attack, dude is definitely Bruce Lee snake, the speed it lunched it self at us, dude had his a game on.
I fling it off the cliff (that settled) still don't know how I did it, I was faster than the flash...not as fast but you get the gist.
A bit of miss step I slipped and I fell onto the young girl, with both our weight doubled, we slipped and fell off the edge when the ground broke up, I tried protecting her from hitting her head in doing so I hit my as we landed on the floor.
I got up with speed, as she still seem frighten by me. I did my best to calm her down and show her I wasn't a threat to her with hand signs which I was grateful that it worked.
She get looking at me both curiously and frightened.
I moved forward to brush off the hair that covered her face but I felt myself losing my balance. I felt light headed as I places my hands behind my head looking for something to keep me balanced "Shit, am bleeding!" my eyes became light and my vision.....the young girl seem concerned and not sure what was going on.
She stared at me with all focus as she watched my movement as I searched for a spot to sit down, she seem intrigued, watching me like a hawk.
One wrong step on a slippery stone and light out.
I thought as I fell deeper into the dark "Hell no, not again"
Just what does the universe what from me.... You curse science.
