Chapter 3: Tough Battle
Blood flowed like crazy, the Mutated Dragonfly was injured and blind,
"Mages, fire your Mana Bullets"
The Mages who were nervous in the beginning were excited that the Monster was injured and spammed their attacks continuously
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A single attack was nothing but tens of Mana bullets were too much for even an Lv. 5 beast and its HP decreased to 80%.
Zac knew that even without eyes it wouldn't die so easily so he ordered the shield Warriors to stand and block the monster's attacks.
"Don't go near its Mandibles and try to block its attacks"
But, he had still underestimated an Lv. 5 Mutated Beast. It seemed to have been playing around before and losing its eyes made it even more bloodthirsty, the Mutated Dragonfly no longer held back and started using its mandibles. One of the Shield Warrior lowered his shield and let his guard down for a second and paid the price.
Slice!
Time seemed to stop and everyone watched in horror as the head of the shield warrior flew out and landed on the floor. The shield warriors who had been confident before felt their legs tremble and dropped their shields and ran for with their back to the Monster which was a huge mistake.
Zac shouted when he saw this,
"Idiots! you will only die fas-"
Before he could finish, The Mutated Dragonfly used its mandibles and bit every last one of those who turned their backs to death. Even the Warriors were not spared, leaving only Zac and the Burly youth alive.
The entire class was filled with blood and sliced body parts the mages and healers in the back could not take it anymore and most of them vomited while dropping their staffs, the few with stronger willpower continued to cast Mana Bullets in desperation.
The Mutated Dragonfly seemed annoyed by the constant Mana Bullets and charged towards the back of the broken formation.
Zac saw this and gritted his teeth and activated his skill Weapon Aura while dodging to the side, the monster's mandibles brushed past inches above his head. A red aura covered his sword increasing his Attack power, he slashed accurately at one of its legs
Slash!
Screeeech!!
The Mutated Dragonfly did not expect to encounter such a strong attack and lost one of its legs and crashed on the floor,
Its HP decreased to 60% and continued to decrease because of the bleeding, the Mutated Dragonfly was finally angered and used a skill that Wilder never thought it would have.
Zac watched helplessly as the Mutated Dragonfly gathered mana with its mandibles and a destructive sphere of energy formed in front of its mouth aimed at the students in the back.
His skill was still in cooldown so he couldn't do much in this situation.
'Damn it! Why can it use Mana Sphere!?'
Zac could not help but feel a bit helpless,
'In the end, I am still too weak!'
Just when the Mana sphere was about to be released,
Bang!
A hammer with a red glow smashed the side of the monster's face, causing its head to tilt and release the Mana sphere away from the group.
The Burly youth had acted!
Boom!
The wall of the classroom was destroyed by the Mana sphere and except for a few unlucky students, the rest were saved.
Zac grinned when he saw this, this Hammer-wielding Warrior really had some timing.
The Mutated Dragonfly seemed exhausted from using the skill and even its brain seemed to be damaged from the hammer attack, Zac knew this was his chance, his skill was also out of cooldown so he acted quickly,
He climbed on the back of the monster and walked towards its head, the monster tried to move but its HP had decreased to below 10% and it was in a very bad state. Zac grinned ferociously when he reached the back of its head, he stamped hard on it and held his sword with both hands, raised it high in the air, and stabbed while his blade was covered in a red glow,
Weapon Aura!
'Die!'
Stab!
Screech!!

Xander POV
Ding! You have levelled up!
Ding! You have levelled up!
'Finally...'
The Mutated Beast was dead and they were safe, at least for now,
He looked at his blood-filled Hammer and became a bit nauseous, but he controlled himself and focused on the reason they were able to succeed.
'Zac...'
'Never thought he was such a badass'
He was always alone and never bothered to talk with the rest of the class, a typical loner. But, now... when he recalled the smile on his face when he had killed that beast.
Xander shuddered when he thought about it,
He hesitated for a bit and started walking towards the dazed Zac who had been staring at the corpse of the Mutated Dragonfly for a long time.

Zac ignored the messages and stared at the corpse of the Mutated Dragonfly in a daze, he had finally gotten rid of his nightmare. It had been his biggest regret when he had been unable to do anything in his previous life. But, things are different now, he would right everything and make those foreign races pay.
Step Step
Noticing someone approach, Zac shook his head and adjusted his mental state,
"Hey, you alright?"
Zac saw that it was the burly youth with the hammer and grinned,
"Not bad, you swing well"
Xander smiled honestly, and replied,
"My grandfather was a Blacksmith..."
"Oh?"
Zac knew that blacksmiths were much needed in the late stages and it seemed like he lucked out,
He had never thought about being a lone warrior, that kind of stuff doesn't work in real life. He needed strong allies, those with courage and skill, and most importantly those who he can trust.
This Xander was someone he wanted on his side.
But, before that, he needed to settle the loot,
He touched the corpse of the Mutated Beast and spoke to Xander,
"If you want to loot, you need to touch the corpse and think about it."
Xander watched curiously as the corpse of the Mutated Dragonfly got enveloped in blue light and various items were formed with the light near it.
Zac saw that there was a sword with a blue hue and decided to take it for himself, he then thought for a bit and placed the rest of the items on the floor orderly and summoned everyone who survived,
Xander was curiously looking at the items in front of Zac he had some idea of what was about to happen and quietly moved to Zac's side.
Zac saw this and smirked this kid was smart indeed,
