Reincarnated As A Shadow

After going through his first life in a place called Earth where random chance dictated everything down to wether you were in a war zone, with a nation to protect you, whether you had everything you could ever want or whether you would have to lie cheat and steal and still never have enough to provide for your family he was sick and tired of his life yet he stuck with it afraid that there would be nothing beyond it. Until one day an accident occurred (well can you call it an accident when someone’s terrorist plot succeeds yet you die?) well I guess it wasn’t an accident so much as an unfortunate day. He awoke in shadow, not a world of nothing that was cold and unforgiving or the warm darkness like being in the womb like someone reincarnated yet a literal shadow of a nerdy kid who was OBSESSED with books.
