Chapter 7: First Reward
After sleeping as much as he needed, Jack woke up, came to the kitchen, and prepared breakfast. A simple fish and egg dish. While Bennett was already up and doing some light exercise outside Jack's home.
Jack always reprimanded Bennett for trying to do some cooking as he remembered a bit from the game events how absurd Bennett's cooking was. So, Bennett was the person who did the dishes.
While Jack washed up and clothed himself. He saw how Bennett didn't use the adventurer's standard uniform. Maybe he could use other clothes, but he didn't have any way to change them for now.
Leaving Jack's house and walking toward the Mondstatdt, Jack was hit by another worse reality. Most of the material or resources Jack got yesterday didn't miraculously appear again after a day had passed, just like in the game.
"Damn… I wonder how much time it will take for them to be replenished. I hope it doesn't take that much time."
Jack walked through Drunkard Gorge Canyon pretty easily since no Hilicurls or slimes loitered around the canyon after they defeated them. It was before noon when the two of them arrived in the Mondstatd Guild.
"Ad astra abyssos que! Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild." Katheryne welcomed us with the adventure guild catchphrase.
"Katheryne, we finished our commission!" Bennett told her and gave her the paper that had been signed by the requester. He gave a stunning smile.
"Really, that's great." Katheryne responded with a kind smile. "Here is the reward that has been promised. Good job." Katheryne looked at the paper and checked it for a moment before giving them the reward.

The party just got that amount of reward in the game, but we got this for each member. Jack felt a bit better that he got a reward more generous than in the game. He wondered what primogem was used in Teyvat, and it looked like this was used to open Domains.
A domain is a place that gives a person who entered a challenge and gives them treasure if succeeded. It needed many primogen to open the door of the Domain.
We saw what commissions were still available since we came a bit late. It was considerably calmer than in the morning.
"This is…" Jack's eyes followed the mission that he found interesting. It said that one of the sisters from Favonius Cathedral asked the Adventurer's Guild to clean the statues of the seven in the Windrise area.
Jack thought about Windrise. That area was quite good for a rookie like him since there weren't a lot of strong monsters. There were several hilicurls camps, but in that area didn't have any Mitachurls on their camps.
The place was quite close too.
"How about that, Bennett? It may be a bit dull than others, but we need that. Since some of the material you need to ascend is there." Jack informed Bennett to take the commissions.
"Windrise… cleaning… huh…."
"Yeah, we need to take some windwheel aster all. No, we need three of them. Also if I wasn't wrong there were a lot of Hilichurls camp so we can take care of them too."
"That sounds good. Okay, we will take that commission." Bennett took the commission and brought it to Katheryne.
"Also can you go to the requester and maybe tell them that we may be camping for a day, and I need to take care of our supplies and weapons too." Jack asked Bennett to report the requester while he was preparing their supplies.
Jack went to Wagner that had been hitting hot iron.
"Hm… Is that you, Jack? Did you find those ore?" Wagner who realized Jack came at him. Jack shook his head.
"No, it's still difficult for us to go there."
"Ah… There are a lot of Hillicurl on this day. Survival is the most important thing after all and you're still young too. Just be carefull. Is there anything else?"
"Yeah, I want to upgrade this Seasoned Hunter's Bow." Jack asked Wagner as he put his bow with a lot of Fine Enchantment Ore.
"Hm… that's enough. You have been working hard. That's good." Wagner took the weapon and Fine Enchantment Ore. He was paying close attention to his new work. He put the Fine Enchantment Ore and melted it in the fire. He struck the iron carefully, little by little. Did some good work.
"Hm… if you need to do other things, just do it. This will not take much time, but it will be better than waiting." Wagner hushed his hand and drove Jack away.
So Jack left and walked toward Good Hunter, the place where he could buy some food. Sara, the waitress, immediately welcomed him with a warm smile.

"Yeah, those Teyvat Fried Eggs really helped. Is there anything else other than that?" Jack asked the others food in the shop.
"Well, Fisherman's Toast, Chicken-Mushroom Skewer, and Teyvat Fried Egg, we also sold bacon, smoked fowl, ham and others. You can see it on this menu?"
Jack took a look at the menu, and there was a lot of food, of course, but the problem was not all of this had an effect.
The only things that had an effect were Fisherman's Toast, Chicken-Mushroom Skewer, and Teyvat Fried Egg, while the others didn't have any effect like apple and sunsettia that restores 300 HP.
"But, too bad. We limited the purchase for adventures so all of the adventurers could get ration for their supplies." Sara reminded Jack of this shop policy.
"But if you gather some raw food on your adventure we cook for you. Also we sell some recipes if you want too?" Sara explained to Jack all about Good Hunter.
Which means they would help adventurers process their food. It was like the sweet flower Jack gathered became sugar. Also, berry, sunsettia, and sugar made it into jam, or So adventurers still had their ration, and the store maintained their supplies.
"Really that helped a lot, so can you?" Jack opened the inventory and gave the sweet flowers he got and other things to Sara. "Also, I buy 'Pile 'Em Up' recipes."
The food gave them a boost, 'Increases all party members CRIT Rate by 15% for 300s.'
"Thank you for your purchase. You can get your order tomorrow." Sara told Jack that he could get his order the next day. After finishing with Good Hunter, He went to the General Good Shop to buy some salt, pepper, and flour.
"Ah, Jack. I went to Liliana and talked with her. We just need to clean the Statue of The Seven. It had been a long time since she cleaned the Statue, so she was afraid it would take some time." Bennett told me with a look of satisfaction that could be seen growing on his face. He had been quite happy when Jack told him that maybe we would be camping outside.
"Good, we will go to Windrise shortly after I take my bow."
The two of them went to Wagner. I grabbed the bow that had been upgraded.
