Chapter 14: Chapter 14 Don't judge a book by its cover
"She what!! You are telling me that Wu Mei managed to get into Baichang Academy?? She even drove the latest Black Speed Car??
Wu Tang nodded, an ugly expression showing on her face but she quickly hid it.
"How can this be possible?? She is a country bumpkin!! She lived in the country side since she was born, how could she be able to drive a Black Speed model?!!
Wu Tang put on an aggrieved look. "Dad, you won't believe what she said to me!! I know..... I know that it's my fault. I... We took her mother away from her, so it's natural that she would hate us. But she..... she said it in front of the whole class!! I even tried to talk to her but... but.... she said she's the real eldest miss and it's better that I leave. It's only if I leave that she'll come back....
Wu Tang cried. Her watery eyes turning red by the minute. Wu Xin growled.
"That brat!! How dare she!! Wu Tang, don't worry your mother will go with you to school tomorrow to make it clear to her.
"Dad..... should I leave?? So sister can come back??
Wu Li walked to her and cleaned her tears.
"Baby... You don't need to. I'll make it clear to her tomorrow okay??
"You.... you don't have to!! I can manage on my own..... I can just continue trying to apologise to her. Mom can you come to school as Big Sister's guardian??
Wu Li scowled. "Wu Mei's guardian?? Why should I do that?? Wu Tang..... You are my daughter, so I'll do everything for you. But don't mention Wu Mei ever to me again!!
"Mom..... Eldest sister is your daughter too.....
Wu Li scowled, the ugly expression covering her beautiful face.
"She is not my daughter!! She is just a mistake!!
Wu Tang buried her head into her mother's embrace. Not because she wanted to, but because she didn't want anybody to see the malicious smile on her lips.
_Wu Mei, you don't have any place in MY family!!
Wu Tang raised her head with a little smile.
"Mom should we go to Golden Hall?? We can eat there since Dad won't be around till tomorrow. When Dad comes back we'll cook for him together!!
Wu Li laughed. This daughter of hers makes her so happy!! Compared to that country bumpkin!! Wu Mei you cannot come here to destroy the good life I'm living here!!
Somewhere far from Wu Manor , Wu Mei sneezed.
Shanshan moved closer.
"Are you having a cold?? Why are you sneezing??
Wu Mei smiled. "It's nothing. Shanshan, you can choose to go home or have the driver drive you around for a little while after I go into the restaurant. I have something to do there, I might not come back until late in the night.
Shanshan frowned for a moment before she smiled. Although Wu Mei doesn't spend much time with her after that day when her biological family came to look for her, she understands that Wu Mei has greater things to do than to stay with her, she won't let herself drag Wu Mei down.
"No problem. It's been a long time since I came to the city, I'll look around for a while before going home. I'll cook before you come me back so you don't need to worry about food.
Wu Mei nodded , her cold eyes softening. She could feel the sadness rolling off of Shanshan. She also knows that she has been neglecting the very person who laid down her life for her.
"Shanshan.
"Hmmm??
"On Saturday we'll go to the amusement park to have fun alright??
Shanshan smiled and the gloomy air around her disappeared.
"Sure!! Her eyes curved into crescents.
Wu Mei patted her head. Shanshan is really adorable. While Wu Mei can he described as an Ice Queen, her cold frigid eyes giving an oppressive force. Wu Mei has a doll type of look when she smiles but when she doesn't have a shadow of a smile on her, she looks like an elegant seductress that'll kill you after she has eaten her fill. She isn't too tall like most models and actresses but with her body shape that any female would kill for she is a big-time seductress. Her temperament, that arrogance that oozed from her bones and her cold smile. She is the human description of human doll and also an iced lake.
Qian Shanshan is the opposite. She has her soft look regardless of if she smiles or not. Like Wu Mei she also has a doll rabbit type of face, only that she is a little bit darker than Wu Mei. Although Wu Mei isn't all that fair, due to years of working. They both didn't care if they were fair or not. Either way, they both look amazing.
Wu Mei alighted from the car, walking into the high end restaurant after a small wave from Shanshan. At the same time, Wu Tang and Wu Li also came down from their car.
"Mom..... Isn't that Wu Mei??
"Huh, where??
The both of them saw Wu Mei entering the restaurant , the both followed.
"Mom, do you thinking she can enter the restaurant?? The people that eat here have to make a reservation here before they can eat here??
Wu Tang seemed to have forgotten something. Wu Mei was brought to school in a Black Speed Car.
"Miss you don't have a reservation here, so you can't enter!!
Wu Mei sighed. How forgetful is she??
"Call your manager.
"Miss there is no need for the manager to be called. Stop pretending to be a bigshot, with the way you are dressed, you don't look like one!! One is the waitress snapped.
Wu Mei sneered, she hates people like this.
"Have you ever been told that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover??
"What??
Wu Mei stared her down.
"Didn't your mother teach you some manners!! How dare you talk to your senior like that!!
