Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Ashara Dayne part 1

(1,200 words)

- Percival Bolton POV -

- Sunspear - Dorne - Westeros - 279 A.D -

I had already arrived in Dorne, Sunspear specifically, and had left most of the soldiers on my ships. Since it would attract too much attention to walk with 300 armed men. Fortunately they were all brainwashed in some way, like the Unsullied only with a little less skill. But the important thing is that they could wait patiently on the ship without the need to go to an inn to drink beer, or to a brothel to fuck a whore. They had no such needs, which was good.

It might seem unsafe to go with only three main bodyguards, and thirty in the background, even if they were very capable. But he had a secret weapon that many had probably forgotten. That was the Shadow Demon.

I currently had two Shadow Demons, previously three, but there was one that died miserably in an ordeal. These demons could be classified into three levels according to the heart used. Level one was for magical lineages, like the Targaryen or, I guess, very weak mages, and of this level was the dead one, since.... I didn't have anything special, I was just a shadow able to get into my shadow and go out to fight, but nothing special.

Then there were the level two, of which I had two, and they were of competent mages, as was Maggy, and another mage that I discovered in Braavos. Which, without wasting time, I killed. In strength and speed they were the same as the previous ones, they were at the level of a very good fighter, but they did not surpass in skill characters like Arthur Dayne, and even had a lot of difficulty to handle Silver, which means they were close to the level of average Kingsguard. That is, real guards, only bad ones.

But the biggest peculiarity of these soldiers, is that to face them you could only use Valyrian Steel, which made them extremely lethal. There are very few Valyrian Steel swords in the world, and only those can stop my Shadow Demon. All other weapons simply could not touch them, and anything touched by the Shadow Demon's sword brought rot and rusted the swords.

The thing is, with those creatures on my side, I could feel safe almost anywhere I was. And knowing my enemies beforehand, they would be the perfect assassins.

- Ashara Dayne POV -

It had been a few days since I had arrived in Sunspear, and I was once again in Elia's room. Although she had left the city in the morning, which meant I was left alone in Sunspear because my mother and brother had also returned to their respective places. My mother to Starfall and my brother to Kings Landing, to continue serving as a sworn brother of the Kingsguard.

We talked more about it, and she ended up telling me that, although she wasn't in love or anything like that, she had a complex about another man named Percival. He introduced himself as "The Traveler".

My room was next to Elia's, but I was still in her room.... I guess out of habit or something. It was just a nicer room. But while I was resting and reflecting looking at the ceiling, I felt a noise at the window. And the next moment a figure with pale skin along with black hair and eyes of the same color looked at me slightly confused, but the next moment made a slight smile.

"Who are you!" I asked as I stood up from the bed and took a few steps back.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was looking for your Princess" the man said to me, but he kept looking at me with his eyes like emptiness, and I couldn't help but be a little mesmerized. The man was extremely fine and beautiful, but at the same time he was flamboyant and exotic. His black robes similar to those of the people of Essos did not help to dispel his mysterious and alluring aura.

"What do you want to see the Princess about?" I asked.

"Personal business," he said as he began to slowly approach me. And surprisingly, I no longer took a step back, but just stared at him, without hesitation.

"What is your name?" I asked. I had some suspicion about who he was, but it was only fleeting.

"My name? Does it matter?"

"Are you Percival?" I asked, and his eyes showed surprise for a moment as he pulled a dagger from his tunic and moved at inhuman speed in front of me. With the dagger pointed at my neck.

"How do you know that name?" he asked me with his voice serious.

"T-The Princess told me about you, the man she has feelings for" I said with a bit of fear on my face, but I was also a bit.... Excited. The man was extremely handsome and mysterious, and what he had done now only made him more so.

"I understand," he said as he lowered the knife but still stared at me. Though one of his hands was still on my neck roughly, though it wasn't hurting me.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked.

"Do you like it?" he asked me with a smile, and the truth is that I liked it. I was always treated like a goddess on a pedestal, all the men were mesmerized by my looks and fell madly in love. But here he was, treating me like a nobody.

"I...."

"Do you like it? Answer me" he said again, as his grip went up until he took my chin in his hands, with his face in front of mine, and he looked much more beautiful than before. To the point that my cheeks turned slightly red.

"Yes" I replied shyly, but my face began to form a smile. These were not my own traits, I was acting like a slut.... And with no one less than the man the Princess I serve likes. It's embarrassing, but exciting to deflower myself in this way. But I doubt the man would go that far, if he didn't even deflower Elia.

Not at all! No! It can't be! But it's perfectly possible, Elia's feelings were not real love, but complex because with this man she lost her virginity... Then I...

But I could not continue rambling when I felt something wet on my lips and saw his black eyes less than an inch away from mine.

- Percival Bolton POV -

I had gone looking for Elia Martell, but I had come across a much more beautiful and desirable woman. Something about her simply attracted me, she was too beautiful, but I couldn't act like that. So I kept my mysterious and domineering attitude throughout our conversation. But as I took her chin, I couldn't hold back any longer and had to attack her mouth.

This was a mistake, I knew it and she knew it too. I would lose my chances of getting a pardon for Elia if Ashara told her, and I risked changing the future enormously. But I had to do it, I couldn't control myself.

I felt miserable for giving in to such a basic instinct as lust, if it didn't pay off for me. But I was a human after all, and an incredibly lustful one in my previous life. If I had one weakness, the kind I abhorred, it was my lust. Which wasn't made any better by my enormous talent for sex. I screwed up.
