Chapter 44: THE ATTACK 3.

Acher angrily adjusted the brown wig on his head.

"Much better" Trent smirked at him.

"Where did they find this wig from?" Acher looked angry.

"Who cares where they find it, just go with the flow." Trent gave him a teasing look.

"One, two, three, and start." Augustus stepped aside.

Acher placed his hand on his waist.

Trent went to one knee and cleared his throat.

"Ariela Patterson, ever since the first day I met you, I knew that we were meant to be, (he held Acher's hand and looked into his eyes.) Ella would do me the honor of becoming my lover."

Acher abruptly dragged his hand from Trent's and looked away.

"I don't want anything to do with a two-faced psychotic bastard." He tried to mimic Ella's voice.

"Ella doesn't talk like that." Trent frowned at him.

"What do you expect, I am trying my best." he stomped his feet and turned away.

"Your voice sounds horrible, it sounded like a sledgehammer was stuck between a train and a train track."

"How dare you!" Acher said in his lady's voice." and turned his face away with his nose up in the air and folded his arms.

Trent was flabbergasted. "What are you two doing? If you don't take this seriously, I won't get a grandchild."

The King walked up to them.

"But you already have a grandchild." Trent clicked his tongue.

"Mila is refusing to play with me, his grandad."  Augustus pouted.

"What do you expect, he is fourteen and you, his father, neglected him!" He looked at Acher.

"What do you want me to do? The boy won't talk to me, all he does is sit in his room and paint. The last time I was in his room, I saw a painting of me. I was hanged on a tree, with my gut scattered all over the ground.'' Acher shivered.

"You killed his mother, he wants you dead!" Trent shouted.

"She tried to kill me first! What do you think I should watch and be like? Oh no, don't kill me." He dramatically replied.

"If I remember you two are supposed to practice how you  will confess to my future daughter-in-law." Augustus reminded them.

"Is not going to work Trent is horrible at confessing." Acher mocked.

"Is because you look nothing like a woman, I am not motivated at all!!"

"It looks like you two want to spend the night in the dark room." Augustus's looked scary.

"I suddenly feel my feminine side trying to take over," he acted as if he was possessed.

"And I suddenly feel motivated."

A knock brought him out of his thoughts.

"What is it?"  he asked the person outside the closed door.

"Is time for breakfast." The voice spoke.

Ella had finished bathing. The tub was so beautiful and comfortable that she didn't want to get out. She sat on a chair, drying her hair with a pink dryer while facing the mirror attached to a cupboard.

She looked at the lotions and make-up kit arranged inside the cabinet of the mirror cupboard.

Just when she was about to apply the lotion she heard a knock on the door.

'It must be Trent.' she thought to herself before rushing to the door, with a bright smile on her face but it died down as soon as she opened the door.

She saw Gaterial wearing the popular maid uniform but the blue version.

"Hello, I am here to assist you." The girl was cute and bright.

Ella was confused and kept blinking her eyes. "What happens to you, You look different today Gatherial."

The young lady covered her mouth before giggling.

"I am not Gaterial but Faterial, her older sister."

Ella was beyond stupefied by the striking resemblance.

"Aren't you going to let me in?" she asked.

"Oh sorry" Ella shifted and Faterial walked in before she closed the door."

Ella realized that their voice was different, Faterial has a tiny voice whilst Gaterial's voice was bold.

"I didn't know that Gaterial has a twin sister." Ella laughed awkwardly.

Faterial went to a plain wall and opened it. This surprises Ella.

She didn't know that the whole wall was a walk-in closet.

"We are not twins, we just share the same body." she smiled at Ella.

Ella looked puzzled.

"You shouldn't worry, I will explain everything." she giggles again.

Ella looked at the expensive designer clothes, bags, and shoes arranged in the large and spacious closet, it was larger than the house she was living in.

"I am all ears." She was more curious about her story than the clothes.

"Our mother was a princess of a fairy kingdom far away from here, she fell in love with a demon and ran away from home.

She and the demon got married and then I was born as a fairy."

She pulled out a red gown and placed it on Ella's body after thinking for a few seconds she flung the dress and searched for another one.

"Then what happened?" Ella was curious. The girl smiled again. Her eye color is dark blue and not peach, like Gaterial's eyes.

"A year later, Gaterial was born as a demon, we lived in peace for fifteen years, and we were soooooo happy then. Ooooh!"

She pulled out a navy green satin gown and placed it on Ella again.

She twisted her lips after thinking for a while she flung the dress away again.

"What happened?" Ella was eager to hear the main point.

"We were attacked by the faeries, they were angry with my mum for choosing to run away with a demon, they killed daddy, I got stabbed protecting Gatrial before our mother died she trapped my soul in Gaterial's body until I find a body that will perfectly merge with my soul."

"I am sorry." Ella felt bad.

"Is it all in the past?" Faterial waved her hands.

"Besides, I have to get you ready for breakfast." She pulled out a black and white gown.

"Perfect!" her eyes sparkled and Ella couldn't help but smile.

           BACK AT THE HOSPITAL

Rose slowly got up and peeped from behind the desk, her eyes met with Romulus and she gasped and quickly hide again.

"Where is Chen?" she said to herself as fear crept through her. Earlier when the people were screaming, and running and some were being killed by rogues, she was too scared, she only decided to peep when she didn't hear anyone speaking.

"What are you doing, hiding under a desk?'' Rose slowly raised her head, she almost passed out from fear.

Chen felt her turmoil and wanted to rush out of the ward.

"Don't worry Romulus won't hurt her." Said Aurelia before he nodded and stood beside the bed he placed Cyrus on.

Aurelia had already cast the spell that could sustain Cyrus for Ten hours before Aelfric arrives.

She sat on a silver chair next to his bed and Chen joined her by seating on a chair next to her.

They both sat down quietly and no one said a word.

"Can I ask you a question?" Chen broke the silence.

"What?" Her voice came out dull.

"Is about Cyrus, how did he do that, how did he kill her without touching her."

Her cold light hazel eyes looked into his black ones. She looked back at Cyrus who was still unconscious and in pain.

"If you put water in a glass container and put it on fire, what do you think will happen?"

  Chen's brows creased.

"The glass will break because of the heat."

He answered.

"True, but in the case of Cyrus, he can alter the temperature of the blood, just like how some vampires can manipulate blood, the Dragon flame family can manipulate the temperature of the blood. Make it so hot, that it will move haphazardly, and with speed until the person explodes. All they have to do is focus and feel the warmness of the blood, then Boom!!!."

Chen stared at Cyrus. "He truly is powerful."

          BACK IN THE PALACE.

Ella was dressed in a black and white cotton straight gown. The black color is from the hands down to the sides, then the white at the front and back. Her hair was packed and pinned in the middle with a diamond hairpin. The makeup on her face was light and simple.

"You look like a princess." Faterial clapped her hand in joy.

Ella smiled as she admired herself in the dressing mirror.

"Ella, heed my warnings." She held Ella by the shoulder. Ella felt scared because Faterial's whole demeanor changed.

"You should be very cautious of what you say and how you act at the dining table, not all the royal family is nice. I am telling this because I see danger in your fate, a danger that can lead you to your death."

   Ella gulped.
