Chapter 52: *Hiss!*
"So, someone entered the facility without alerting anyone, managed to get to the archive without being seen and after destroying the sealed door, again, without alerting anyone, had the time to search and steal information?" Orochimaru looked with murderous intent at the guards, who were also the investigators. "Tell me, where were you all when that happened?"
The guards lowered their heads shakily, and the one in front spoke in a trembling voice. "Gulp! Orochimaru-sama... I... We were investigating the subjects... it was a new composition, and we wanted to see how it reacted on their bodies..."
Orochimaru's face crumpled and he hissed. "You all went? You know your job is to act as guards too, right?"
"Y-yes... We are sorry, Orochimaru-sama..." The guard bowed his head, and everyone behind did the same.
Anger was growing in Orochimaru's chest, but he sighed before killing all the incompetents in front of him. "Where's the damage report?"
"H-Here!" one of the guards in the background held up a clipboard and started walking to the front.
The guard who had reported to Orochimaru snatched the clipboard as he reached the front and looked at Orochimaru with a flattering smile. "Here, Orochimaru-sama!"
He smiled and grabbed the clipboard.
**Hiss!** Snakes came out of Orochimaru's sleeve and quickly crawled up the guard's arm!
"AHH! NO-MM!" The snakes covered the guard's head as he screamed and fell to the ground, where he desperately moved around trying to free himself.
The other guards were petrified and the one who originally held the clipboard was sweating profusely as he watched his boss being slowly suffocated by the snakes.
Orochimaru laughed with contempt and looked at the clipboard. "Oh?" He exclaimed curiously.
"What?" Kabuto looked at him, ignoring the guards' situation.
"Let's go to the archive room." Orochimaru turned around and started walking.
Kabuto looked at his back before turning his eyes back to the guards. "Take the corpse to some experimental room." He said casually before following Orochimaru.

"Well? What's so interesting about that clipboard?" Kabuto asked as he walked next to Orochimaru.
He chuckled with amusement and passed the clipboard to him. "See for yourself."
'Hm?' Kabuto grabbed it and after glancing at it, realized what was going on. "They took DNA samples from Jugo?" He asked softly as he looked at the paper.
Orochimaru laughed again. "Isn't it interesting? I made sure to leave no connection between Jugo and the Cursed Mark in this hideout to prevent it from being taken, but someone discovered it anyway."
"Maybe you left something related?" Kabuto looked at him suspiciously.
"No, it's impossible. I made copies of most of the information about the Cursed Mark and made sure not to mention Jugo in any of it."
Kabuto frowned in bewilderment. "So, the information was false? Why did you look so stricken when you received the report from that guard?"
"Oh, no." Orochimaru shook his head. "The information wasn't false, I simply omitted Jugo's name so that attention wouldn't go to him if someone infiltrated."
"I see, but they found out about him anyway." Kabuto adjusted his glasses. "Aren't you worried that something happened to him?"
"They wouldn't take the DNA if they had Jugo." Orochimaru shook his head and stopped where the door to the archive room would have been.
Kabuto walked over and squatted down. "It looks like the door was removed quickly and cleanly... The seals weren't even activated."
Orochimaru also looked at the rectangular hole with interest before entering, followed by Kabuto.
"In addition to the DNA, they took all the information related to the Cursed Mark..." Kabuto set the clipboard down on a table and looked at the mostly empty drawers. "Do you have any idea who it could have been?"
"Hehe~" Orochimaru chuckled grimly. "My biggest guess is that damn organization I belonged to. While I don't know why they would do this, they definitely have the ability to find the hideout, infiltrate and steal without being noticed and leave just as quickly."
