A man named Mr Hudson and his wife Mrs Carol, were discussing about how they are going to move to their new to be mansion .
The Woman known to be the type that finds it hard to agree with her husband always or most of the times.

Hudson : - You can't tell me to stop the project, do you have any idea of the amount i have spent on this?
Carol : - No, i don't know, and i don't care.... Once you can't make it happen on time , if you can't make it possible that we spend this festive period in the new house, i do not see any reason for you to calm me down.
Hudson : - Woman, look, i never mention anything about we are not going to move to the new place this festive period, all i was saying is that, i have done everything i can, all that remains now is for the lawyer to clear the papers... But, He has to finish his findings first!
Carol : - What is in papers to be cleared? Tell me, my relatives are coming to celebrate the Christmas with us, my friends are also coming, didn't i tell you? do you expect all of us to squeeze ourselves into this small building?
Hudson : - No, dear listen to me!, That very mansion has some myth surrounding it, we need to know if they are true or not and my lawyer is working hard to find out what are the things that we can do to make us live peacefully in that mansion if there's any.
Carol : - Oh! I see, you have started again, you have started being afraid. I have told you before, i am telling you now and i will still says it to your ears perhaps that, you are the woman in this family, while i am the man in the house, you are always scared of what is not!
Hudson : - I am not being scared, i am only being cautious, which is what i need to do because of our children... Because of our family.
Carol : - The family?! The children?! (scoffs) Who is the children here, tell me, who is the children, you are! Even Jeff the last of the family is braver than you.
Hudson : - What exactly do you want, woman?
Carol : - Let move to that building this weekend! If by no means the paperwork wasn't finished today, that means we are waiting until next week, which I am not going to take.
Hudson : - That is not possible!
Carol : - (shouted) Why is it not possible? Tell me, why?
Hudson : - The mansion has some myth things surrounding it, i already told you that, but you never wanted to listen.
Carol : - Is that the only mansion on earth that you can buy?
Hudson : - (laughs) Were you not the one that said you want exactly that one? And now that we have to do some findings you don't want to wait again, right?
Carol : - I am telling you my mind and you are laughing? I am telling you my mind you are laughing with it?
Hudson : - Excuse me, woman! (Took his shirt and left)
Carol : - Don't you turn your back on me!

Mr Hudson's attorney went to the police to have some records of the mansion on behalf of Mr Hudson.
When he got there, the detective shows him some things.

Attorney : - Detective, good afternoon, how are you doing sir?
Detective : - I am good, and you?
Attorney : - Never been better!
Detective : - Good!
Attorney : - Any luck for me?
Detective : - Oh! Yeah, i have some things to show you, it the records i found concerning the mansion..... Your client won't be happy with these.
Attorney : - I already told them to go look for another mansion, they never listen to me. Maybe these will help them reconsider.
Detective : - Maybe!
Attorney : - Maybe,..... Show me, show me!
Detective : - The mansion was built in the winter of 1486.
Attorney : - What?!
Detective : - Not as mansion then, it was a bungalow. It had renovation several times over, and it was increased to the size it is today gradually..... It was meant to be the then town hall... First, after a year of it commission, a boy and a girl went missing from the house, everyone thought it was the intention of the two of them, they all thought that, because of them little romance....
Attorney : - They were in relationship?
Detective : - According to the history, Yes! They were in a relationship. Another case recorded from that place was that of year 1503, the winter of that year saw one grown man and two little kids missing from that vicinity, a search party was organised and no one could find them.
Attorney : - That is not good to hear.
Detective : - The year 1507 winter, one morning in the month of December, a couple was found dead at that vicinity, one in the house, the other in the woods behind the building. Nothing happened again at the building or no one recorded anything until the year 1587, it took the whole community a week search before they found the dead body of a lonely woman living in the house in the woods, she was brutally murdered, her neck had scar from teeth bit, a shape of hand that plucked her heart out.
Attorney : - God, the mansion has no good record?
Detective : - That is just the beginning, it was recorded that the house was abandoned for several years.
Attorney : - Because of all that happens?
Detective : - Nothing was said about that, but probably yes, it should be because of that, a wealthy man later bought the house in the early 1600, then the renovation started, He changed the building, he increased it size four times the former it was. He employed security men, and for about fifty years, nothing happened.
Attorney : - So with maximum security, nothing bad will happen! Wait! You said about fifty years, did anything happened after that?
Detective : - Yeah, sure, fifty years later, the wealthy man's first male child was believed kidnapped from the house, that was the winter of 1650, the man's female child went missing, the winter of 1651, his wife, the winter of 1652 and him himself, the winter of 1653. His brother took over the house, encouraged people to build houses around the building, which they did... But, it clearly shows the houses around the building was not the target, lots of lots more bad incidents happened in that building which was not described how it happened.
Attorney : - But the houses around the building, there is no house around the building, not of now.
Detective : - The year 1806, somebody bought the entire community, he cleared it all and built a mansion there.
Attorney : - Any other recorded bad incidents?
Detective : - Not here in this papers, but, no one live in the mansion for three good years, they have all been buying and selling after two or three years they bought it.
Attorney : - Detective, all these cases were recorded in the winters, this family are moving in this winter again, I hope nothing bad will happen to them.
Detective : - We will take good surveillance of the place before they move in.
Attorney : - Will they be safe?
Detective : - Are you asking me? See, it is for the best to take precautions and not to acquire that mansion to avoid any bad incidents from happening....But, if your client insist on moving in there, that means we will be very vigilant about the mansion and it's environment.
Attorney : - Well, thank you, Detective. But you sure that nothing bad happened since the 1800s.
Detective : - Since the 1800s yes, nothing else that i know of, actually we are talking about the cases of four hundred, five hundred years ago..... I am only saying precautions is better, why not get somewhere else.
Attorney : - I have already talk them out of acquiring the mansion, but they seems carried away with the location, the wide land and all that..... If nothing was recorded since those ages, well, like you said we will only be vigilant.
Detective : - Nothing was recorded.
Attorney : - Thank you!
Detective : - It a pleasure!

The Attorney was on a phone call with Mr Hudson asking him about his plans of moving to the mansion.

Attorney : - Mr Hudson, good afternoon!
Hudson : - Attorney, good afternoon. I am glad to hear from you, sir.
Attorney : - Yeah, me too!
Hudson : - Are you done with the paperwork?
Attorney : - Hmm, not really.....
Hudson : - Attorney, not really?
Attorney : - I am sorry for that, actually, i am through but i need to explain some things to you before i proceed with it..... So, practically, you are the one delaying.
Hudson : - Okay, okay, .... I am all ears!
Attorney : - It is not what we can discuss on the phone, sir!
Hudson : - You want me to come, or you want to come. Which way?
Attorney : - Hmm, i don't know, which one will be convenient for you, sir.
Hudson : - I will be.... ( his wife, entered the room)...
Carol : - If that is your Attorney, tell him to be done with the paperwork in time and not to waste our time anymore.
Hudson : - (on the phone) Detective, i am kind of busy now i will call y...
Carol : - No!, don't call him later, tell him to be done with it. Why did you have to call him later?
Hudson : - You know what Attorney, are you done with those that involve?
Attorney : - Yes, sir.
Hudson : - You said you wanted to see me first before you finish it?
Attorney : - Yes, sir.
Hudson : - Alright, be done with it, i will come see you later.
Attorney : - But sir, i need to explain some things to you first, sir.
Hudson : - Don't worry about that, if it is money, i will add more money... Just get it done with it, i will make myself available soon.
Carol : - So, done it is! This is just 2:15 in the afternoon, we can still move today.
Hudson : - (he was wowed, hardly he can speak) Are you.... (paused for a while with his mouth wide open).... Seriously!?!
Carol : - What?
Hudson : - You really wanted to move to a mansion that we don't yet have the ownership?
Carol : - Are you kidding me? Will you stop pretending like a baby?.... What is the meaning of this? You just spoke with your Attorney, don't you? Come on! His done with the paperwork so we move in today.
Hudson : - Okay, okay, what about the cleaning of the mansion and the environment, or we going to live there like that? Without cleaning?
Carol : - You have the money, we will employ people, with enough people and tools they will finish the cleaning and setting up before 5pm.
Hudson : - Why are you so impatient with moving in the place, it seems something drawing with some unnatural things.
Carol : - We, will have, dinner in, that mansion, today ..... Don't you get? Look at all my friends, see the houses they live in, see the one we live in, we are richer than them, we are wealthier than them... And still they live better life than us. Nothing unnatural is drawing me to anything, sweetie, No! I am calling the people that will do the cleaning, i will go with them and go buy the things we will be needing in the mansion, sit down and relax, i will go through the stress if that is what you are afraid of. (she moved close to him and kissed him deeply before leaving).

The Detective called the Attorney twice, he wasn't there to pick the call, when he came back from the toilet, the Detective was the first the Attorney called.

Attorney : - Detective, i am sorry i missed your calls.
Detective : - Thank you for getting back to me, it seems you were hand full.
Attorney : - No, no, no, i was only at the toilet.
Detective : - I was going to inform you more of that mansion.
Attorney : - Okay!
Detective : - I later did some more findings and records says there are more files of bad and terrible things that was recorded from that mansion, but, it always been stolen.
Attorney : - By who, sir?
Detective : - No one that anyone knows of!
Attorney : - Stolen from the Police department?
Detective : - It kind of complicated, the stories behind that mansion is really, really spiritual, magical, unnatural..... All i can say is that try to convince your client from acquiring the mansion.
Attorney : - I have been doing that, and i will try more of my best.
Detective : - And the mansion has not been used by anyone for the past a hundred and fifty years..... So if they move in now, i don't know what could happen, is best not to put your money on the thing that will get you or your family killed.
Attorney : - Thank you, Detective, i will tell him exactly that!

The Attorney went to Mr Hudson's house to inform him about what the Detective told him around six in the evening. Unfortunately, when he got there, he could not find anyone in the building and the place seems like Mr Hudson's family have already packed out. Then, he called him on the phone.

Attorney : - You are not in your house, it seems you have moved!
Hudson : - Oh! Yeah, come join us, we are at the new home, the mansion.
Attorney : - But sir.....
Hudson : - I understand, i understand! No need to, we will finish whatever left to be done.
Attorney : - Hummm, i won't be able to, to, to come join you, sir! You will have to please meet me in, in my office come next week..... Not to disrespect you, sir, but i am, i am currently on something, please. Next week, sir!
Hudson : - No problems, we will see, the mansion is so big, i didn't have the chance to explore it that much the other day we come here, and it seems no one uses it for the past ten years.
Attorney : - Yah, yah, Okay sir... See you later (he hanged the call) God! They moved in? I, I didn't, God, they didn't even have the papers for that mansion. And that mansion, (scoffs) I hope nothing bad happened to them anyway. (he went back to his car and left).

The evening that day, the Attorney could not have some sleep because he was really scared of any bad thing happening to the family of Mr Hudson , before he sleep, he checked his phone several times to see if he will get a call from Mr Hudson or from the Detective, his phone never rang.... He could not rest, not sit, his wife keep asking him what went wrong with him, he did not respond, he keeps moving up and down until he got tired and he then sits on the bed, the more he thinks of what could happen to the family of Mr Hudson, the more his veins got weaken , the more he relax on the bed, his wife knows him, she knows whenever he has something in his mind, he does that, so she left him alone and slept.
The Attorney keeps checking his phone from time to time, he finally slept off, around 11pm he woke from his sleep with tension, checked his phone and sleep back, soon again he woke up, and everytime he wakes, the first thing he does is check his phone..... The following day being Saturday, his wife do not bother to disturb him, he suddenly woke up from his long sleep and the time is 9:20am, he explained why he couldn't sleep to his wife, she suggested nothing will happen, and nothing really happened, the first night and some nights after.
Everyone in Mr Hudson's family, the Detective and the Attorney lives their life, since nothing happened as expected. Over a week later, one of Mr Hudson's child, Mark, went to the back of the mansion at about 8:23pm, moving a bit to the woods to smoke his weed as usual because he wasn't permitted to smoke amidst the family.
It is winter period, he was sitting alone in the not too dark woods, the snows were falling beautifully, the temperature was very cold and he was enjoying his weed, having puffs over and over. Two people, male and female was passing by in the woods not expecting anyone in the woods, Mark saw them but couldn't believe if he really saw strangers in such place, their home, their property. He called unto them, the two people were amazed, they went to him anyway , they were in white robes, their skin is so white but kind of pale, wrinkled face they had, while their eyes balls is damn red. Regardless, they are cute, the two of them.
When they got to the place Mark was sitting, Mark got really frightened, he immediately got up on his feet so as to run in case anything went wrong, the two strangers were moving close to Mark in high speed, Moving? Mark can't really say if they are on a thing moving them or if they really are walking or something else, when they got to him, they can't stand the scent of the weed Mark was smoking. It was obvious that they can't stand it, Mark was the first to greet them because he was frightened, they never answered, they wanted to confirm if Mark really sees them or their long sleep is deceiving them, after he greeted them the second time, they answered with tempting smiles, the male one spoke some words but in a language that Mark have never heard of.
The female one look Mark in the eye suspiciously, Mark turned away from them immediately heading back to the mansion, but as he turned, he met them behind him, he was lost and said,.... "Excuse me, did you just, did you just, what happened, you were right in front of me, and you should be behind me now, is it me or the weed, it could be the weed, sorry. "... the female stranger laugh and said... "Friend don't be afraid, we are your neighbor, i know, i know, we are trespassing we shouldn't be here, but what better way to caught your attention, don't be afraid friend ".... told him not to be afraid, that they are only here to invite him to a party and at the party, they will teach him how they make their move happened, to move fast like ghost and trick people like he have some supernatural powers, and she hand over an invitation letter to Mark, Mark was asked to follow the descriptions on the book to locate where they are.
