The pure, clean, and beautiful river was flowing calmly. However, in just a few moments, the river waters suddenly began to churn and heated up as the waters turned reddish and some bubbles appeared on the surface.

It was as if something serious was happening under the water that caused the river to boil up. Even the fish and other river creatures that were passing the area quickly turned around and fled from the scene as fast as possible as they sensed the drastic change.

The boiling area became even more agitated as more and more hot bubbles appeared and the waters moved around randomly and frantically as if the pressure below had it mounted even stronger.

Then, less than a minute later-

Boooooommm!!

The river waters exploded and burst outward, sending a large amount of water to the air, creating a shower of boiling hot waters that rained back to the river as a black figure sailed through the air with two dark big objects followed behind it.

Liu Guanyi casually landed on the riverside as the ground under his feet caved in while the two gigantic rocks tied to his feet crashed into the ground. Well, it was natural since he was wearing tons of kilograms of weight on his body.

Cutting off the ropes that were tied on his feet and setting up the level of the weights on his body to level one, Liu Guanyi felt that his body had become as light as a feather as he inhaled the fresh air of the beautiful woods.

Liu Guanyi stretched his body as he waited to let his clothes dry off with his increased body heat. As he was casually standing, some grasses between the trees a few hundred meters away suddenly moved gently against the wind.

Nobody would notice something so insignificant that was also far away but Liu Guanyi was someone with superhuman abilities and reflexes, so even something like that also fell under his radar even while he didn't consciously try to sense it at all.

Some of the grasses in the distance moved again.

This time, it was fifty meters closer than before and it didn't move against the wind but rather along with the wind, yet it rustled and moved slightly more "forceful" than the other grasses, making it appear unnatural in Liu Guanyi's sense.

A few seconds later, some of the grass in the distance moved again as suddenly, a spear sailed through the air and moved toward Liu Guanyi at a breakneck speed.

Without even looking at the spear, Liu Guanyi only calmly stepped aside a few centimeters as the spear flew just right beside his ear, fluttering his long black hair, and plunged into the ground.

Liu Guanyi had just casually avoided a fast and powerful spear throw without any wasted movements and with a perfect calculated response as if he had foreseen the spear's speed, trajectory, and wind resistance as the spear didn't even graze a single strand of his hair!

Liu Guanyi looked ahead as a figure came out of the bushes surrounded by trees. He had yellow hair as he stood at 1.6 meters.

The young man had a sheepish smile on his face as he was walking out of the bushes casually.

"Not bad, Xin. Your spear throwing has improved decently. It seems that you have some talents in this." Liu Guanyi said to the yellow-haired man with a casual smile.

"Not at all, Mr. Liu. It's you who are always improving at a crazy pace. Although I can't really see it, since you have come out of the river, you must have completed your training, no? That means you have improved once again." Xin retorted back with a wide grin on his face.

"Well, that's true."

"Anyway, Mr. Liu, I caught some wild rabbits and foxes around the woods and I want to grill them shortly. Do you want to join the feast just over there?" Asked Xin with his right hand raised and his thumb pointed behind him.

Liu Guanyi shrugged off his shoulders. "Alright, I don't have anything important to do at the moment. Since I am quite tired after all the training, why I don't taste what kind of grilled rabbits you are capable of making, Xin?" Said Liu Guanyi with a smile.

"Nice, that's what I like from you, Mr. Liu! Unlike a certain princess, you are always fun to hang out with and you are also bringing more excitement to the party!" Xin excitedly spoke with his thumbs up.

"Don't say something like that out loud, Xin. You know what will happen if you do." Liu Guanyi advised with a chuckle as they strolled toward the area Xin had pointed.

"Nah, it's fine, Mr. Liu. She is still swinging her metal stick far away in the woods with her lonesome self so she absolutely won't hear it. Let her keep doing her boring training nonstop while we are having fun together, right?" Xin said as he smirked.

However, something suddenly appeared from the nearby trees as it hit Xin hard in the head, creating a loud smacking noise and making him groan in pain, prompting him to back away.

Xin touched his painful head as he looked up to something that hit him.

Not surprisingly, it was a beautiful and graceful-looking young woman with long silver-white hair that cascaded freely. There was a sheathed sword on her hand, the thing that most likely she used to smack Xin's head just a second ago.

"You never learn do you, Xin? You are still ungrateful and act impolite to me even after I have wasted my time just to generously train you all these years." Adori spoke neutrally without a hint of being offended, though she still held her sheathed sword tightly on her hand.

"Ugh, you call all of these years as training? I call the time I spend with you as torture! You always leave me completely battered after your so-called training and you seem to enjoy every second doing it."

"Rather than calling it as training, I think it's more apt to call it satisfying your sadistic enjoyment on me!" Xin exclaimed bravely as he quickly ran away into the woods.

Unfortunately, before he managed to get far, Adori caught up to him shortly and smashed her sword powerfully on his back, slamming him headfirst into the ground.

"Now, since you are so ungrateful, it seems that some punishment is needed to discipline you." Adori spoke calmly with a slight grin on her face.

"Noooooo!! Mr. Liu, help me!" Xin shouted desperately as he tried to crawl away before Adori quickly stopped him effortlessly as he was frozen on the spot.

Liu Guanyi didn't do anything and only smiled watching their antics. "I have warned you, Xin. Just accept the consequence and move on, it's not that painful anyway."
