Chapter 102: Matatabi(1)
Matatabi, more commenly known as the Two-tailed beast. She lives deep inside the land of lightning.
Her body is covered in blue cobalt like flames, Kentaro was curious to know if he touched them, would he burn?
Kentaro had activated his sage mode and was parkouring the lands at a terrifying speed. When he thought about it, it didn't matter if they were collected in order or not.
"I shall go after the closest tailed beast when I'm done with Matatabi." Kentaro was in the land of hot water.
In the land of earth, Daitan and the others had killed all the feudal lords that had to be killed, leaving feudal lord Ozushi and his allies alive.
Mū knew that Kentaro had left the land of earth, he couldn't sense his chakra anymore. He had told Daitan about it.
"Mū, let's return back to the Fujimoto clan's village. I have told all the others to do the same. We'll train and familiarize with each other." Daitan wanted to help Kentaro by taking care of this himself.
"I suppose that big bro left to do something that will strengthen us one way or another." the Kamizuru went towards the village.
Kentaro had kept it a secret, only the Elders and Wanda knew about the captured Shukaku. But even so, they weren't informed about Kentaro going after more of them.
Two days passed, Kentaro was flying high in the air, he was trying to spot Matatabi. He couldn't sense its chakra.
He could see Matatabi being just a few meters away when he looked on the map. Kentaro looked down on the bushy forest.
Suddenly, a gigantic blue figure jumped in the air. It swept with its massive paw at Kentaro.
'Fast!' the paw struck Kentaro, he was sent crashing down with immense force. Countless trees broke down because of his fall.
Kentaro quickly stood up, Matatabi was slowly walking towards. Like a predator, it showed its sharp teeth to Kentaro.
"Matatabi! Calm down, I am not your enemy." Matatabi immediately stopped walking, she didn't know how Kentaro knew of her name.
The only one who knew her name was the sage of six paths because he was their creator and the one who named them.
"How come you know my name? Shukaku told me that you knew his name too. I am really...intrested in knowing."
Kentaro had totally forgotten that the tailed beasts were connected to each other. They could communicate even though they were lands appart.
"I know much, Matatabi. I know that in the years to come, a man who uses wood style will capture every one of your siblings, including you."
Matatabi slowly walked towards Kentaro, with one swift motion she reached Kentaro's side in a few seconds.
"From what I know, you are the one who is trying to capture us." she opened her mouth and spewed an enormous fireball.
'Water style: Water Wall." a great water wall came out of the ground, the fireball clashed with it.
Kentaro who was behind the water wall could slowly distinguish the orange hue of the fireball, it was passing through the water wall.
Kentaro quickly jumped back, it was stupid of him to think that a basic water wall would stop the mighty fireball of Matatabi.
The fireball made the water wall completely disperse and went towards Kentaro. The heat was enormous, it was clear that he would turn to crisp if he was touched by that.
'Impressive, only one tail differenciates Matatabi from Shukaku, but the difference in power is already so great.'
Kentaro entered the ground and teleportated via the ground to a different location. He came out of the ground, Kentaro was fifty meters further from Matatabi.
"BOOUUM!" the fireball landed on the ground, it burned and destroyed the ground and trees. The raw power behind it was powerful.
Matatabi turned its head to the left and looked at Kentaro. With one whip of its two tails, Matatabi sent two destructive waves of wind.
The two waves of wind ripped the trees from the ground and brought them together with them towards Kentaro.
Kentaro placed his two palms towards the terrifying waves of wind, he prepared to negate them.
"Gravitational Push!" the trees freezed in the air and the waves of wind stopped immediately. An even greater force took the upper hand over them.
The whole area in front of Kentaro had been destroyed by the gravitational push, the trees were no more and the ground was ripped from its place.
Matatabi had been pushed thirty meters further, it was still standing. Matatabi cautiously looked at Kentaro.
'This man wields a power that is strongly ressemblent to one of the powers the sage of six paths was able to use.'
"Matatabi, I can protect you from the fate that awaits you. I have taken Shukaku by force because he wouldn't listen to me, but I only have good intentions."
Kentaro permitted himself to walk towards Matatabi, he stayed vigilant. With her great speed and agility, she could attack ferociously at any moment.
"Are you perhaps hesitant? You won't be alone, I will completely unseal Shukaku for you and there is also Son Goku."
"I don't like Shukaku and his murderous personality. Son goku is living leisury in the Suiren caves and doesn't like to be disturbed. I prefer to stay here, I hope that you understand."
Kentaro knew what he had to do know. Bringing them to the land of stone was an obligation to consolidate their power.
He couldn't leave one of them outside of the land of earth. Unfortunately, Matatabi would also have to be brought by force.
"Matatabi, what I will do will maybe make you hate me. But I must take you with me and this, no matter what." Kentaro opened his cloth bag and placed a blue pot on the ground.
He opened the pot and looked at Matatabi, he had to seal her inside. He would maybe unseal her later when he made sure that she wouldn't go on a rampage against him and his allies.
"Here I come!"
