Chapter 103: Matatabi(2)
Kentaro ran towards Matatabi, he formed hand seals while running. Out of his body, fifty mud clones came out.
The mud clones dispersed in the destroyed forest. Matatabi looked at them in great surprise because they were identical to Kentaro, differentiating one of them to the real one was close to impossible.
But since Kentaro did not change his place while running whereas only the clones did, Matatabi knew were the original was.
Kentaro didn't care, he wasn't trying to hide among his clones. He jumped high in the air and placed his two palms towards Matatabi.
"Gravitational Push!" the sound of the jutsu being casted resounded, Matatabi felt the omnipotent power pushing her.
This time, it was a much more powerful push because Kentaro was not so far from her unlike previously.
She was pushed far away, her strong paws got a good hold on the ground, she made sure not to fall on down.
The fifty clones formed hand seals and from their mouths mud flowed out. It was the first time that Kentaro was going to create such an immense mud field.
In a radius of one kilometer, the whole area was covered in mud. Matatabi was now standing on Kentaro's domain if you will.
"Mud style: Impeding Mud Arms!" the fifty voices resounded at the same time. From the mud field, gigantic mud arms were created.
The gigantic mud arms all got a hold on Matatabi. She was grabbed from all the places and couldn't move.
Kentaro noticed that smoke came from the arms that were around Matatabi.
'The arms are slowly taking fire because of her fiery body. I must act before she gets out of their grip.'
"Gravity style: Augmented Gravity!" the air around Matatabi turned heavy. When she tried to move her paws, it felt as if they had become ten times more heavier.
"Mud style: The Nine Hammers Of Judgement!" Kentaro clapped his hands together.
Nine hands of mud holding a judge's hammer were created in a circle around the impeded and immobile Matatabi.
Before they could slam their hammers on Matatabi, the effects of the augmented gravity dissipated and the Impeding mud arms fell down because of the heat.
Matatabi jumped in all the senses and whiped around with her tails, the ground shook and the landscape around them destroyed even more.
"You are no different than the others! I will incinerate you!" Matatabi opened her mouth, it was ominous.
"Blue flames?" Matatabi spewed fifty massive fireballs, they consisted out of blue flames.
They howled while descending, Kentaro could see how it warmed the air around them. He quickly formed hand seals.
"Mud style: Magnificent Six Layer Barrier!" the mud formed six magnificent and thick barriers.
The fifty blue fireballs obliterated the six barriers one by one, but were slightly weakened because of the mud's water property.
Even so, there was no way of stopping them with any jutsu seeing how close by they were.
Kentaro's body was pushed backwards. The fireballs crashed down, the ground trembled and the blue flames scattered on the mud field.
Kentaro who pushed himself back with gravity stood back up, if he had stayed there he would have died.
The fifty clones ran towards Matatabi, some of them were directly destroyed with one sweep of her paw.
The ones who had successfully gotten close enough jumped high to be at the same level of Matatabi's chest and abdomen.
"Explode!" at the mention of this word, the clones exploded. Matatabi was covered in smoke.
"ROAAAAR!" Only her feline like roar could be heard. Kentaro had not expected Matatabi to give him so much resistance.
The smoke suddenly dispersed, a tailed beast bomb was coming up his way. Kentaro quickly formed hand seals.
"Mud style: The Absolute Hand!" the mud created a gigantic hand.
When It was close enough, the mud hand grabbed the beast bomb and squeezed it. A blinding light shone and the beast bomb was slowly getting sealed inside.
Kentaro who was behind the absolute hand did not see or feel Matatabi coming towards him.
On his left, he saw that enormous inflamed beast sliding on the mud. Kentaro turned his head to see what Matatabi was planning to do.
Unfortunately for him, Kentaro was to slow to react, the paw of Matatabi descended and crushed the place where he stood.
The absolute hand broke down and so did the tailed beast bomb. Matatabi was looking intently at her own paw.
"This is what happens when you challenge me, human. You should've left me alone, I wasn't causing trouble for you or anyone."
Suddenly, she felt her paw getting lifted. Kentaro had used the golden staff to save himself.
"I can't leave you alone, Matatabi." the golden staff grew longer and thicker, it completely pushed Matatabi's heavy paw away.
Kentaro jumped back with tremendous speed and agility, the golden staff grew even longer and hit Matatabi's chest.
Kentaro pushed her far away. Like this, he created some distance between the two of them for him to breath a little bit.
"You made up for your treason, golden staff. Let's show Matatabi the power of the way of the monkey."
Kentaro's appearance slowly changed. His teeth grew longer and sharper, his nails became longer and deadly, a spiky beard grew on his chin and cheeks.
"Sage Art: Monkey Transformation." Kentaro began jumping successively, as if he was warming up.
He bit his finger and placed it on the mud field, an enormous puff of smoke engulfed Kentaro and the vicinity. When the smoke dispersed, one hundred monkeys dressed in red kimonos and armed with a miniature golden staff appeared.
They each made a particular pose, it was their way of making a cool appearance when summoned.
"My little monkeys, let's go and subjugate Matatabi! Let us show her the way of the monkey!" Kentaro began running with his staff in his hands.
The monkeys followed behind him. Kentaro propelled himself high in the air with the staff, the one hundred monkeys did the same.
"This is ridiculous, I shall unleash my full might upon you all." Matatabi ran and jumped high in the air towards them.
Kentaro and the one hundred monkeys faced Matatabi and her massive paw swipe high in the air.
