Chapter 106: The Sage King Of The Apes
Kentaro wanted to have a discussion with Son Goku. Even though Kentaro was unsure if it was the right thing to do.
If a fight would ensue, it would be so much harder than fighting Matatabi. Kentaro had never liked how the tailed beasts were easily captured and sealed without showing resistance and unleashing their true might in the show.
In reality, they were the most powerful existences that Kentaro faced in this world. He wouldn't say that he struggled with Matatabi, but she didn't make things easier.
"Since I have the monkey sage mode, will Son Goku be friendly towards me? Fuck, we'll see when I'll get there." Kentaro flew even faster.
Kentaro flew towards the land of the earth. South, hidden in the border between the land of earth and the land of grass, the Suiren Caves were concealed there.
Thanks to the map, Kentaro knew exactly were the Suiren Caves were. If he had not found Kukishoku jungle, Kentaro would've tried to find the Suiren Caves for the sage mode.
It took him five hours to fly from the deepest parts of the land of lighting to the border between the land of earth and grass.
Kentaro landed down and looked at the map, the Suiren Caves were a few steps away from him.
Kentaro walked towards it, fifty meters further, he saw that enormous cave entrance. It was hidden behind much grass and trees.
"May luck be with me." Kentaro entered the cave. From what he remembered, he had read in the room of the ancestors that the Suiren Caves had multiple domains.
There was not doubt that Son Goku was living in a domain of his own. Kentaro followed the map, he soon entered in his domain.
"Who dares enter the domain of I, Son Goku, the beautiful sage king of the apes!" Kentaro saw the massive figure of the lying Son Goku.
"I am the monkey king, Kentaro. I have come to discuss." Kentaro quickly transformed in his monkey appearance, this time he even grew a tail.
"The monkey king, you say? What have you done to receive this title! Only I, the most handsome, can bestow titles!" Son Goku stood up and faced Kentaro.
"I am the monkey king of the great and magnificent Kukishoku jungle, sage king of the apes! You don't have any authority on me!"
"To dare disrespect me in my own domain, the whole Suiren Caves are mine! How dares a filthy monkey of Kukishoku jungle disrespect me!"
Kentaro knew that he had to stand his ground, unless he wanted to be crushed by Son Goku's might.
"Our lineage is noble! We, the monkeys of Kukishoku jungle are the descendants of the the great monkey king himself. It is not a filthy ape of the Suiren Caves that will frighten me."
Son Goku looked at Kentaro in silence, he had never been disrespected and challenged like that in the past.
"The great monkey king Wukong fled from the Suiren Caves after I threatened to kill him. You can be of noble descent as much as you want, but let me tell you that you are the descendent of a coward!"
Kentaro took his staff and brandished it high in the air. He wanted to show off his mighty golden staff.
"This staff! It is the staff of Wukong himself! I cannot let you continue!" hearing this, Kentaro prepared to defend himself from an attack.
Kentaro looked at Son Goku, he was doing little jumps while going backwards. He began beating on his chest and doing a sort of dance.
"Monkey king Kentaro! Behold the beauty of I, the sage king of the apes! My dance is the most refined one!" Son Goku was proud to see the defeated look of Kentaro.
Kentaro had an incredible expression on his face, he did not expect things to go like that. Kentaro had expected to be attacked by waves of lava.
'Is this maybe why the monkey sage teached me the fabulous monkey dance?' Kentaro squatted down and opened his right hand while holding the staff in his left hand.
He slowly lifted his right hand and placed it towards Son Goku, Kentaro repetitively moved his right hand to the left and right in rapid succession.
Kentaro began jumping like a frog with his legs, he threw the golden staff high up in the air and grabbed it with his tail.
With his tail, he made the staff spin around. He began performing the moves of the monkey style taijutsu, which looked like breakdancer moves.
"Admire! Admire, the fabulous monkey dance! A big ass ape like you doesn't have the agility to do this! Only us, the descendents of the monkey king Wukong are capable of this!" Kentaro bit his finger while breakdancing.
He summoned the one hundred monkeys. Suddenly, drum beats were playing, the one hundred monkeys were playing music under the lead of Goro.
"Come, my apes! Come!" fifty apes came out of nowhere and joined the side of Son Goku. They began dancing just like him.
"Son Goku! Look at your buttnaked apes, hahaha! My monkeys have style, look at Goro! You lost the battle in every aspect possible!"
Son Goku punched the ground in rage, it broke and made the ground tremble. The fifty apes ran away from him.
"Monkey king Kentaro, I will not let you humiliate me in my own home! Let me see how you'll do against my greatest attack?" Son Goku opened his mouth.
'This crazy bastard! He's gonna send me a tailed beast bomb, but we're inside of the cave right now! Everything will be destroyed if I don't stop it."
Kentaro clapped his hands and opened his mouth, mud flowed out. He quickly formed hand seals and a massive hand was created from the mud.
"Let me show you the power of the absolute hand!" Son Goku fired the tailed beast bomb.
The whole domain trembled because of the power that the tailed beast bomb generated, it was fast and mighty.
"Boss! We're going to die!" Goro hid behind Kentaro.
"Little Goro! When I'm here, nothing can happen to you or the others. BECAUSE I'M THE MONKEY KING, I WILL PROTECT EVERY ONE OF YOU."
"You're not the monkey king, but I believe in you boss!" the little Goro began tearing up, he was lucky to have such a boss.
'This bastard Goro ruined my moment!' when the tailed beast bomb was close enough, the absolute hand grabbed it.
It squeezed the tailed beast bomb, but the blinding light did not shine. Kentaro saw how the hand was slowly getting destroyed.
'This is bad! As of now, the absolute hand is not strong enough to stop the tailed beast bomb of Son Goku.'
Kentaro looked at his monkeys and gave them a nod. All the monkeys regrouped next to Kentaro, they placed the end of their staves towards the absolute hand.
"SPLAAASH!" the tailed beast bomb destroyed the absolute hand and went straight towards Kentaro and the monkeys.
Just as it was about to hit them, the staves' ends shone purple. They were absorbing the tailed beast bomb.
"The tailed beast bomb is heavy and it's complicated to hold the staves against it. But have faith, we will do it!" Kentaro did his best to encourage his monkeys.
If one of them were to fall to the ground or make the staff fall because they couldn't resist the weight of the tailed beast bomb, they would all die, the tailed beast bomb would explode.
"Why isn't it exploding! Is monkey king Kentaro capable of holding my strongest attack down!?" Son Goku could only look at his tailed beast bomb getting smaller.
"Boss, our miniature staves are getting filled with the tailed beast bomb. We will not be able to absorb moreof it!" Goro quickly notified Kentaro.
"You can all unsummon, you did not dissapoint me today!" Goro gave a little nod, he wished Kentaro good luck.
The one hundred monkeys turned into smoke and disappeared. The weight of the tailed beast bomb drastically increased.
'The weight of the tailed beast bomb became so heavy now that I have to face it on my own.' Kentaro's eyes widened, the blinding light of the tailed beast bomb exploding shone brightly.
"BOOOOOOUUUUUM!"
