Chapter 27: Moment
The demon reframe from attacking and realized there was a person on his side. He was a panther demon but his human force was so unique and kind.
" InuYasha, you're so annoying and short-tempered. Yes, most demons have ill intentions but others are compassionate and loyal." Yuki took this moment to explain the situation and the terrible truth about the headmaster seeking revenge on the demon that impregnated his wife but the human and demon have been in love since their first encounter and now, she's in labor with a half-breed.
InuYasha was feeling were hurt by her mean comments but he hid it well, that in fact, nobody even noticed.
" Mae has been waiting for you all this time," Yuki informed the demon then escorted him to the temple. He entered the temple as everyone waited outside then he came back out with a newborn wrapped in some cloth.
" Thank you for allowing me to spend time with Mae in the last moments. I am forever in your debt." He said then revealed a handsome little boy, in some areas her resemble his late mother, and others he resembles his father.
" You don't need to thank me. Thank Mae! She brought me to you so you could see her one more time...My friend can help you and your child find a place since we know that half-demons aren't accepted anywhere, however, it's a village that will accept both half-demon and demon" Yuki said and let out a sincere smile. Sango handed out the directions on a piece of paper to the half-demon village in which accept humans, half-breeds, and demons.
There was nothing that could be done about the headmaster since he was human. He buried his deceased wife and demanded the child but the maidens assured him that the child died and that the wife died from the aftershock.
" Did you guys finish the job at least?" He asked.
" Yes, there is no need to worry about any more demons coming into these parts," Miroku promised and then put up a barrier with a short prayer.
The headmaster offered the group a ton of gifts and a couple of shards were in there as well. They left the village with a hand full of supplies, snacks, fabric, and tools.
" We still no closer to Naraku and his whereabouts," InuYasha complained.
" Just be patient, He will show up eventually," Miroku said.
" Hey, Kagome. Do you sense any more jewel shards?" Shippo questioned as he clung to Kagome.
" No. Let's just rest here for tonight." Kagome suggested and everyone began to camp out for the night.
There were so many questions and this unknown source of power came from. It must've been from the half-goddess that lent help at the moment. It must've been what Yuki desired at that moment. The letters that Yuki received from Mae. It did not matter how many times she looked through the small book. It doesn't make sense why it was ripped out. So many questions and not enough answers. Yuki could not sleep and smell the burnt firewood as she stare into the flames. She was not close to Mae but the outcome from a human and demon upset her heart. She took a walk to the river to clear her head. ( if you are underage, you can stop here and wait for the next chapter I will summary the next chapter who skip this part)
Sesshomaru caught the scent of the human woman but this encounter was like no other. He is a beast and wanted to claim the woman as his own. That body figure and the curves caused tension in his body. Yuki washes her face in the lake water to help clear the troubling thoughts. He could not control his urges as he watch the water drip down her chest. He has shown himself in front of her.
She was surprised by his sudden appearance but lay his hand on her cheek. They were masculine and very strong. To compare to his, Yuki's hands were small, fragile, and soft. She was happy to see the dog demon in front of her as water formed in her eyes of joy.
He removed his hand and drew his claws and ripped the human clothes that showed her naked body. He stopped himself before he do something that could never be taken back.
" Sesshomaru..." She took another step forward and the look at his ice-cold slanted golden eyes, with slit pupils and knee-length silver hair. He had fair-colored skin but they shared something in common, the lust they have for each other
He is more emotionless with only annoyance, and dissatisfaction showing on his face. Whenever he would encounter an enemy he will kill them without hesitation. Tonight, he hesitated that was out of character, and for some reason, Yuki liked it.
He put his hand on her waist and pulled her closer as her hands touched his chest. He left a trail of kisses on her neck as he pinned her against the tree and lifted up her leg as he thrust. There were soft muffles and noises that travel through the endless night. He became rougher like the beast in his nature and it was too much for the human to handle as she tried to hold back in her voice and remain soft and gentle. The night was still young and they made love. He places his fur over her as she fell asleep.
