Chapter 3: CHAPTER TWO: Hate at first sight
LU YAN'S POV
" What do you want to have?" asked Liu Chen as he summoned the waitress," Lets just get to why you called me hear." I said as i sipped on a glass of water," look I know we don't get along well, but for today you just have to be free with me like we were in the old days." he said, the old days were fun, but how should I pretend like we don't have bad blood between us now," If there is nothing to say then I will be on my way. " I answered as I stood from my seat," Stop! here ." he said as he handed me an envelope, " Whats this?" I asked as I opened it carefully, I mean it could have been a bomb for crying out loud," That's a contract from Mr fang." he replied," He wants to star you in the fourth season of his famous reality show (life of the married) ." he continued, that alone shocked me, I mean why me of all people, he could have casted the EXO members since they are popular when it comes to music," Why ??" I asked curiously, " I pitched you to him, and also played him a few of your old songs, he was impressed and not only wanted to cast you but he also wanted you to sing the most for the show." Liu Chen replied, he seemed to be concerned but I was having a hard time buying whatever he was telling me," I'm sorry" I said as I slipped the contract inside the envelope ," As much as I want to make a come back to the music industry, you are the last person I would want to help me." I said as I stood up again," I don't know what you up too but right now I'm living a calm and free life and I don't want to ruin that." I said as I headed to leave, Liu Chen called out to me but I was too upset to even look back, whatever he was trying to do whether help me or not , I had made my mind up about him years ago.
After I left the restaurant, I received a call from He meng, one of employees at my cafe, " I will be right there." I said as I slipped my phone in my pocket and found my way out of the MH building, I decided to take the elevator but before I could get in, I saw Lu jing I'm not sure it was him because I expected him to be at school at that time but he actually seemed like him, his back hair and his walking style was exactly the same too, I chose to follow him through the hall ways but he was moving pretty fast," I just hope it's not you." I whispered as I moved behind him.
SONG LUO'S POV
" Done." said Sasha my make up artist, she was super talented and she could make any thing or any one even the most ugly one pretty, she did my make up by applying red lip stick to my lips saying it compliments my fair brown skin well, she shaped my eyes brows and also tied my hair up into a bun, she said this would allow the necklace design I was endorsing show pretty well, " Ok thank you Sasha." I said as I stood up and stared at my self in the dressing mirror," You never disappoint me." I added ," Well it's almost time, I will get dressed soon then head to the shoot before any one starts complaining, if there is one thing I know many people hate about me then it's tardiness, I received many companies about being late whenever I'm having lunch meetings or even photo shoots but how do I explain to them that it takes a long time to make a girl look great.
" I will be on my way." I told Nana who still had a few things to finish up," Don't you need me to walk you there?" she asked concerningly," No it's not the first time I had a shoot here, you can complete your work first then we can meet up after." I replied as I turned to leave, " fighting." I told my self as I took the elevator, I was the only one in it which was a bit scary since I have a little phobia for small spaces especially when am in them alone, my elevator reached the fifth floor in no time, I was out and on my way to the shooting area.
LU YAN'S POV
" Woah, how can he move so fast "I said as I passed my eyes through the entire place, " I lost him." I said with disappointment as I sighed and turned to leave, on turning I bumped into some one who nearly fell so I caught her by her waist, she was quite pretty with her eyes widened I guess from the shock, I couldn't help stare at her, all was well until she hit my foot with her heel," Ouch." I said as I let her go," Is that the new thank you?" I said as I bent down to check on my foot," What are you shocked??" she said with an angry tone in her voice," Of course I'm shocked, I mean I save you from falling, even admired your beauty for a second and then you hit my foot with you sharp heels." I answered, I was confused and hurt at the same time," You have been following me ever since stepped out of the elevator. " she continued," why would I follow you?" I asked the situation was getting more and more annoying, " I don't know may be you are a news reporter, or may be a stalker you could even be a crazy fun for all I care." she said," You should tell me now exactly why you following me before the security personel gets here because when he does then yoh would have to answer to the police. " she added ," I was not following you, I thought I saw my little brother here so I started to follow him and when he was out of sight I turned only to bump into you." I explained, she stared at me keenly and they gave a little smack, the evil kind I figured that either I was gonna be hit next or slapped," I swear I wasn't stalking you. " I said as I stepped back a little," Excuse me," she yelled ," Here is the man who was following me, I tried to ask him why but he failed to answer so may be you can take him to the station and question him a little." she said to a security personnel who was standing behind me," Look there is a misunderstanding." I tried to explain to the the security officer who held My hands behind and pushed me along with him, I was tired of explaining my self so I just played along and left with him, hopefully the police is mentally stable enough to know that a decent guy like me can't stalk a girl, I turned to look at the girl who reported me but she just smiled and turned to leave, I really thought I had love at first sight when she bumped into me but after all this I think it was hate at first sight for me.
