Chapter 280: The battle of the bloody rock valley part 10

Haley's eyes shined brightly and her face looked like she was in a trans. It was similar to the time when her divine power manifested for the first time during her fight with Eivar Milhalh at the battle of river Ins.

Dalai was forced to use his divine powers to strike down all the crystals that Haley created to attack him. He quickly dashed in front of Haly and kicked her but every time her power only grew. Didn't matter how many times Dalai attacked her, she rose up like a zombie and her power only grew.

Dalai was confused. He didn't understand how someone's power could grow so rapidly.

"Divine powers came from within a being, but right now, this human is using the raw divine winds that moved freely and uncontrolled around the universe. It could only be possible if she was a sorcerer, as they can control the divine winds, but sorcerors have no divinity inside them and I feel how, unlike a sorcerer, she absorbs the divine winds in increasing her own divinity. It's like she is a hybrid of sorts," Dalai thought to himself.

Dalai didn't hold back anymore. He called platinum from deep beneath the earth and soil. It covered his hand like armor, similar to Pema's divine power of controlling carbon. His armor changed and he looked even more fierce as the divine aura around the god spun violently.

Dalai flung his fist at Haley, who protected herself with a thick layer of crystals. As the god kept punching the crystals his fist got stuck. He started to pull his arm away, but crystal came deep from underground and tried to stab the god. Dalai's platinum armor shielded him from the attack but the attack was clearly felt by the god.

Dalai's power also increased, and with it, he grabbed Haley by her throat and jumped into the sky. Haley shrugged off the god's hand and stayed up in the air. The surviving soldiers looked up as god-tier beings were about to clash. Rufus couldn't take his eyes off Haley as he had no idea what was going on and feared for her sake.

Haley in her trance state spread her arms and looked into the sky. The divine winds were spiraling around Haley, and they started to become visible to the naked eye of a mere normal mortal. The divine winds gathered at her forehead, pulling something out. A diamond-like crystal, blue as the azure sky, rose up from her skull.

"What kind of abomination are you....." Dalai said in an angry tone.

Haley was still in a trance state and didn't reply.

Haley was now as powerful as a god. He made the skies thunder as from thin air crystals formed. Three mountain-sized crystals manifested into the sky, floating like a flying city. Each crystal was larger than the entire valley where the battle had taken place.

When she clapped her hand together, the crystal mountains started to collide against one another, Dalai being in the center. Dalai with full force punched one of the mountainous crystals. Large cracks formed and it exploded. The large crystal broke into smaller ones, but as they came crashing down, more soldiers from both sides died.

The two other crystals then collided, with Dalai stopping both, but was then stuck between them. The two flying crystal mountains started to squeeze Dalai between them, with Dalai using his arms to resist being squashed by them. He was basically in the grips of a clamp, being squeezed to death if he didn't resist.

Dalai was strong enough to withstand being crushed between two mountains but was now unable to defend himself. Haley walked through the air and came in front of the grey skin god. She summoned a crystal spear but Dalai was confident that his platinum armor could defend him.

"Give me your best shot..." Dalai provoked.

Without delay, Haley lunged the spear at the chest of Dalai. The platinum armor held strong.

"I will not be stopped anymore. NOT AGAIN!" Dalai yelled as his armor held firm.

Haley then touched gently the chest of Dalai. The divinity of the platinum armor started to evaporate like it obeyed Haley instead of Dalai. The grey skin god was dumbstruck as his armor started to vanish.

She then plunged her spear right into the chest of the god. Dalai spew out blood as he was stabbed once more like centuries prior.

Dalai's eyes started to close and his body started to get cold. Haley had yet even flinch as her eyes sparkled like the moon and the diamond on her forehead shined calmly as the sun.

For a moment, it was like Dalai was about to lose, but he then smiled and grabbed the crystal spear of Haley.

"Just like centuries ago. You should have gone for my heart....." Dalai said.

The god let go of one of the mountains, and it came crashing down on both Haley and Dalai. She was forced to use her power to stop the crystal mountain from falling on her as well, but during that, the god plunged his fist inside Haley. He grabbed her heart, dragged it out, and squashed it in his fist.

"I do not tend to make that mistake," Dalai said.

Haley's face didn't spaz, but little blood came from her mouth. She neither flinched nor showed.

"Your heart. It's no more," Dalai said as the wound on his chest already visibly started to heal.

"Thump-pump"

Dalai couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had just crushed Haley's heart but still could hear a heartbeat. He concentrated hard and realized what it was. He couldn't believe it. She had two hearts.

"Your no human..."

Haley then summoned another weapon made from crystal. It was a sword that she used to decapitate the god.
