Chapter 7: Jojo dribble from former pro
practice match 3 of 5 (3 days later)
Then suddenly a presentation, an opportunity came. "Kazuya, you will play in the 3rd inning." Kazuya felt excited, and answered back. "Yes, coach."
The match went as usual with them taking the first toss, and Nash taking the first point and setting up for Silver. 2-0. but there was something I noticed, there were two blonde players almost like twins playing with our defense,even Nash had a hard time as the twin looked to be striking Nash irritation lv..Nash was about to lose composure before Silver calmed him down.

"Kazuya, I need you to look at this duo closely. We strike back on our own with you and Cory." Kazuya nodded. Coach had a plan. He wanted Kazuya to analyze the duo's play style and team up with Cory to come up with a strategy to counter them.
In the first round, the duo was able to quickly take control of the game and gain a lead. However, Kazuya's team was able to hold their own and slowly catch up. However, in the second round, the duo was able to outplay Kazuya's team and gain an insurmountable lead. With Kazuya on the bench, his team was unable to figure out the duo's strategy and was unable to mount a comeback.

The opposite side controlled the two rounds, but Kazuya prepared himself for the 3rd round, focusing on the duo's play style and forming a strategy with Cory. He was sure to give the duo a small payback.
"Kazuya you are going in for Silver."

The team started with the ball and Kazuya immediately got the ball into his hand by Nash as he waited on 'the strategy'. Cory nodded to me and I started to pick up the pace. Kazuya dribbled the ball to the center of the court and that's where he met the two blonde twins; Julian and Jaxon.
Cory overlapped and ran Julian who noticed that they too were a duo, Jin started to dribble with an effective body feint and tried to catch him off guard,Kazuya to make a breakthrough and left Jaxon behind. Kazuya's sharp dribble was refined and elegant which may surprise that he is just barely teenanger.
They were 2-1 against Julian who took a leap of faith and tried defending against Kazuya who passed it to Cory who was looking for a shot, before he passed to Gin and made the goal.

Julian and Jaxon were now wary of the newcomer of the match, and the coach had no definition of data of Kazuya.
Kazuya team Columbus summer camp Academy: Magic Miami Hurricanes, were if not the strongest camp out there with a lot of talents and got the best coaches.
The twins were facing off against Kazuya and Cory man to man, they were equally matched in duos but Kazuya skill made the difference, Jaxon tried to take on Kazuya but only failed. Kazuya now with the ball dribbled past Julian and shot from the three getting them closer to the score.

the other team restarted and Julian tried to compete in speed, but was blocked down, so he passed to his teammates who tried taking on Nate, Nate was quick and began dribble down the lane and shot, but missed but Gin was there for the rebound and passed it to Nash who jumped and scored 2 pointer.

There it was again, the burning sensation in his eye, what's going on…The other team restarted trying desperately to beat the Miami Hurricanes top camp, and Julain and Jaxon were rolling past Kazuya and Nate as the two began to draw out their strength they were so good at. They were suddenly 2-1 against Nash who obviously didn't like the two pests and tried his best.
when they got past him Jaxon tried shooting but Kazuya ran all the way to try to block it and Jaxon noticed he couldn't shoot so he passed to Julian.
But it was a mistake as Cory following Kazuya after snapping out ran and intercept and sent a long ball to Gin who screened the ball well and sent a easy pass back for Nash running up and ran past two players in a flash and lay-uped.

After the final 10 minutes the score kept increasing for the Miami Hurricanes.

There were just 30 seconds and in those 30 seconds something changed for Kazuya. As long as he plays he feels he is somewhere close to achieving something. Something that can help him.
When Kazuya got the ball from Gin who struggled keeping it passed it to someone who was open, it was Kazuya.
Kazuya, who got the ball, felt it was natural to run up the court and with a swift move, he dribbled past two defenders and shot a three-pointer. The ball went in, and the crowd erupted in cheers. but Kazuya could feel a burning sensation in his chest. He knew something special was happening. "Hey bud what's going with your eye?"
"What?" Kazuya couldn't understand why his eye stinged but what was so special about my eye?
"One of them has turned Yellow, that's not normal."
When the timer reaches zero. We all went to the hospital to get my eyes checked.

"It seems like some case of central Heterochromia, causes a color separation that almost seems to burst from the pupil at the center of the eye. The dominant color of the iris tends to be low in melanin, so the outer hue will almost always be a shade or blue or green, but I don't see it there, but it has also returned back to its original color…I'm afraid this will take a while, so please have my phone number if anything happens later."
Kazuya, if he didn't know better and that's he was in Kuroko no basket he would think it was something dangerous, no wait getting heterochroma is not dangerous, but well his eyes changing color? He has heard of Central heterochromia.This type involves a ring or circle of different color around the pupil, while the rest of the iris remains a different color. it the same as Akashi and Nash. or kinda it's just they glow brighter than usual.
"The color yellow..?" Does that mean it might be the same as Nash or Kise? but more importantly why is it manifesting in just one eye? I might not get the answer right now, but someday it will make sense.

We have completed all the practice matches and Liam was impressed and happy with the team. we all got some time to rest and I was going to hang out with Miguel who wanted this opportunity to take me to the cafe until…
"Is there Kazuya Kenshin?" a tall and athletic woman with a strong build. She stands at approximately 6 feet 2 inches and has long, wavy hair that falls past her shoulders. Her hair color is blonde and as for her eye color, it teal-green eye and she had glasses folks.
I slowly raised my hand up, and the lady jumped and hugged me. "Hello there." Alexandra Garcia former pro athlete but had to retire due to a disease impaired in her vision.
"Hello, mind getting some minutes to spare." I look uncomfortable and look at Miguel and Cory who just ignore my plea for help. "Sure."
Alexandra took Kazuya to a nearby street court, where she asked him to show her some of the skills he had been honing in his team practice and heard that he is easily one who has done the most streetball moves in practice and in the practice matches. impressed, but she wondered if he could execute the jojo dribble.
Kazuya was standing with his legs wide, one arm high and on arm low, he learned it was a lockdown technique for defenders which most attackers hate, he wondered if it was going to work against a former pro. Alex moved slowly and dribbled the ball as it bounced, the bounce was most hypnotism, Kazuya wondered what move she was going to.
Alexandra began shifting her body to my right side and as my body tried to move in that direction, she moved the ball from her right hand in a circular motion and then spun and jumped for a dunk. After landing she told me the name of the move. "This is a move called the yoyo dribble."
It was quite a simple dribble, but the execution was spot on. I felt as if my right foot was carrying all the strength in my legs for a second and then she got me with the move making me quite late for her incredible speed. "Did you bring me here just to teach me the move?"
"I heard from your friend you have to beat Tahiro Seiji the national gem from you country, I also 2 pupils under my wings to teach from the same place you come from and I wanted to introduce them to you, but well, maybe not now…maybe after the tournament"
You mean Kagami and Himura. yeah that's right, but aren't the two of them somewhere I don't know very far from miami.
