'Is this the place?' Jayce thought as he inspected a building from a rooftop on the other side of the street.

It was your typical two-story house, it had a single garage, a driveway large enough for two cars side by side, and a front yard with perfectly cut grass.

The house was nearly identical to all the other homes in the neighborhood, with a slight deviation to each house to make them distinguishable.

This had been the fifth place he had visited so far. After searching for the orphanage's owner, he used that name to look up what properties were owned by that individual.

He had around eight properties that were spread throughout the city.

Jayce explored the properties from when they had been acquired until he arrived at where he was now.

At first, he thought that this might be where the bastard had lived, yet dismissed the idea as he looked closer at the house.
