Chapter 197: A Race

"So Kermonth." Zell said. "I should still be able to teleport near there."

"Are you sure you don't want to rest?" Elenore asked. "You are just a baby."

"It won't take me long." Zell said as he vanished from sight. He reappeared outside the walls of Kermonth. Now gifted with the power of flight, he simply flew over the walls, instead of busting through. His tiny body was hard to spot as he traversed the sky.

The academy was his first stop. He wished he still possessed the ability to sense people's souls, but that was part of his god powers that he no longer could use.

"Excuse me." He heard someone say in his direction as he searched the academy for an open window to fly into. He turned to look. "Are you a flying baby?"

"So, what if I am?" He asked the little girl who was standing near him.

"Why are you flying?" She asked. "You don't have any wings."

"I am looking for an old human mage." Zell explained. "Have you seen him? He is from Neuval."
