Chapter 7: Boss battle
"Well, lets go then!" the instructor replied and went off. "Yeah lets go." said the others with confidens. "Okay. But I am not in the best form for now." Adrian replied and wennt off too with the rest of the group.
"Lets hope it is really a necromancer!" said the tank. "Well I think that too. But why must it be an undead dungeon. The undeads are really unpredictable. It can be that the necromancer has dead knights than we are almost dead. But it can also be that the necromancer is not a necromancer but an archlinch. Than we are apsolutly dead and nobody can escape and nobody can handle an archlinch."
"Even the S Rankers!!! One of the top guilds in south armerica was gotten destroyed because of an archlinch. And the stuppid thing was that the dungeon was in the D rank catacorie." said the Assasin with worry and fear. Also pale face.
"Then lets hope that it is a necromancer and not an archlinch! And also I didnt want to happend again that with the fireball, mage!" said Adrian mit a small smile on his face. "Well, sorry about that again. It will never happen again." the mage replied with embaressment and fear about the talk of the assasin.
"Hey! Look we have found the boss room. Lets see whats inside." said the instructor when she pushed the door open. But what they see was something compliedly out of their mind; an `Death Spirit`.
"What? Why is a Death Spirit here in this dungeon? It make no sense!" sceamed the assasin. "Isnt it a Rank C Monster?" asked the healer. "It can be Rank C but it is most likely an D Rank Death Spirit." said the tank with tension. "There are you not wrong. But it has afew problamatic skills in his sleeve. And it ..." said the instructor when she was interrupzed by Adrian.
"Well does it matter? It is chained! Lets kill it and leave the dungeon as Hunters." "That is true. But it can also be an illusion from the Death Spirit to kill us all in close combat." said the assasin. "I dont think so but we can try right? I will go close to the Death Spirit. When he attack me with out to break the chains than we now for sure it was an illusion!" replied Adrian and went to the Death Spirit.
But as he came close to the Death Spirit he heared a quiet: "Kill me already. Dont stand there and wait for something that never will happen!". As Adrian heared that he wispered: "What do you mean? Do you want to be dead? But you are already dead. How can a dead wish the dead for it self?". "You understand me human? Well it doesnt matter for me. I am chained by this chains since my birth and since them I was only a test object. Pain and more Pain was the only think that I have gotten and nothing more. Not even a word! The death is better than to be chain forever. Am I right human?" the Death Spirit replied.
"I dont really know how it feel to be chained. It must be terrible. Let me full fill your death wish." Adrian replied and went for a strike. "But in this moment a black armored knight came out of nowhere and blocked the strike.
"How? How is a dead knight even here?" Adrian muttered with surprise and anger. "Adrian! Go away from the Death Spirit! It was a trap!" the instructor sceamed when she saw the dead knight appeared infront of Adrian.
As Adrian tried to run to his teammates. The dead knight was blocking his path and dont want him to pass. "Go the fuck out of my way!" Adrian screamed with anger. Out of control Adrian sent a strike with his kataners to the death knight. But it was blocked by the sword.
"How is this death knight so fast? It should be skilled in strength and defense not agility!" screamed Adrian in his thoughts. AS he strike another time the death knight blocked again with its sword.
But this time he attacked back with much more strength and speed than Adrian did. The moment Adrian though to be hit he felt that the sword hit him but didnt get him any wounds or pain. "What is that?" he though as he writhness the sword on his shoulder was slipping away.
As he looked closely he saw tiny reptile sheds on his shoulder where the sword was. "That is like a gift from the heavens." he thought. "Lets fight beginn again. But this time I will block your attack!" Adrian said with confidens in his mind.
One Moment later he saw the death knight swing his giant sword with one hand and slashed to his chest this time. But Adrian was able to block the attack and attacked straight back! But this time the attacks were landing on the death knight.
"Lets hope he has not a brutale stage!" screamed Adrian and slashed with both of his Kataners again to the death knight that was pushed back by Adrians last attack.
And again slashed the two kataners with the blue cutting edges in the bones of the death knight. "You dare to take me damage. I, Phire, the great knight of the unholy grounds get damage and get pushed back!" screamed the death knight.
As the death knight said that his body that was out of bones and a few clothes are getting redder and redder. But the skeleton skull was getting darker and darker. To a point that almost congruent with a black hole.
"Fuck it is the brutal state. Why did the death knight have one? Why!?" cursed Adrian.
