Chapter 5: Chapter 5 ~ Character Creation
A few minutes later, everything in my sight gained color again - but I wasn't in my room anymore. I was floating over a round pillar, which was surrounded by millions of floating mirrors. As I whistled in amusement, I landed on the platform, and admired the scenery.
The mirrors had moving reflections that weren't very clear, but it looked like people with different weapons fighting off different monsters. One of them had a swordsman fighting off a dragon, and the other had the picture of an assassin fighting five bandits with 2 daggers that looked like tridents, which are called Sai.
After admiring the scenery, a white window popped Infront of me, saying the following:
{Welcome. Do you wish to restore your existing data?}
Of course, since this is the first time I ever played this game, I pressed 'No'.
[Welcome, new player] A robotic female voice said. [Enter your name, and choose your starting class].
Another window popped Infront of me, telling me to enter my player name.
I thought it over. "Hmmm, lemme see.... Maybe Yuki? Wait, no, that won't do. How about a manly name, like Ryu, or- Gah, what am I thinking? That'll only prove Leon's theory about me being Kirishima from 'My hero academia'. Oh, I know! I'll call myself Seven. Since I can't really enter my real name, I should go with my lucky number instead, hee, hee"
I entered the name 'Seven' into the window and pressed 'Ok'.
[Choose your starting class, Seven-San].
Suddenly, about 7 figures appeared before me. I went through each of them and checked their stats. None of them really fit my playstyle. I was all about having a fair distribution between my stats, but also doing fast attacks. Since I didn't mind which weapon I was gonna use (as long as it's melee), that also made the matter hard.
I thought about choosing archer, since I can be fast, but the weapon is a small knife and a big bow, and hiding in the shadows is NOT my thing, so I decided I'll be a swordsman, since one of the awakened paths is a "samurai". It was because i like fighting with Katanas, since I trained in Kendo. 'Do you wish to be a "Swordsman"'? I clicked on 'Yes'.
Then a new figure appeared Infront of me. It was about my height, but taller, with wavy black hair and pure brown eyes. "Hmm...I know I'm not supposed to make my avatar look like me RL, but.... let's the break the rules a bit this one time." I set the avatar before me to like exactly like me, in real life. "There, all done!" Now that I was happy with the results, I expected to start in a town, but yet another window popped up again. I groaned. What could it be this time? I read it aloud: "The starting town you'll spawn in will be chosen at random. Be reminded that, after finishing some of the main quests and reach the appropriate level, you'll be able to fight through dungeons at different levels. Good luck, and have a fun adventure "

In a bright flash of light, I felt the gravity under my feet disappear, and as I felt the wind rushing through my hair, I saw the ground below me. I'm somehow a thousand feet up in the bright blue sky, but then I froze. I suddenly saw flashes of lightning around me.
"Wha- what the hell's going onnnnnn!!" I trailed off, falling into a black hole. I lost all of my five senses.....I couldn't hear, smell, see, or touch anything again.....after what it felt likes this has been going for hours, my body suddenly fell to the ground hard.
«A million thoughts raced through Axel's mind. It was like watching a movie, except he was in it. One imagine kept changing to another, but he couldn't see the faces of the people in those images. Out of nowhere, he heard someone laughing menacingly. The laughter turned into a cackle, and it kept echoing throughout his head, and it grew louder and louder, where it began hurting his ears.....then, he heard a small, soft whisper:
"Welcome to my new world"»
