Chapter 123: Decimation of the marines.

"Alright. Now you both take care to not eat too much ice cream. I will know if you do." I said, kissing Star on the forehead.

"I'll make sure to keep an eye on Star!" Riley assured.

I knelt down beside her and squeezed her in a hug.

"You don't need to. You're my daughter, not a nanny. The droids will do the needful as long as you keep out of the microverse. Just keep out of trouble." I ruffled her hair.

"Papa will be back in a day. And then, I have a surprise for you! In the meantime, listen to Auntie Tats, okay?"

I opened a portal back to the ship, and gave Tattletale a look.

She nodded.

"I'll take care of them."

I smiled.

"Are you sure you want to go alone?" Paige asked.

"Yeah. Trust me, will you?" I asked.

"Alright. But ... just...take care, okay?" She said, planting a kiss on my cheek.

"I will." I said.

Once they were gone, it was time to make right what I had wronged.

I pulled out the modded den den mushi and placed him on a floating plate made of nanobots, starting a worldwide broadcast again.

"Ahehem!" I cleared my throat.

"Welcome back everyone, to ...well whatever this is. An expose? A make up? An apology? All of that and more.

Last time, I left Sabaody for the Ryugu Kingdom in a hurry and threw the slaves I saved from Mariejoise between me and Akainu.

I hoped he wouldn't kill them and prove that this was a valuable tactic to use against the marines but apparently, they will kill innocent civilians. So... that's not gonna work." I laughed awkwardly and shrugged.

"But, I did mess up. And letting those slaves die wasn't the wisest decision on second thought.

In light of that, I'm returning to Sabaody today to revive them.

Yes. You heard me right!

If the dead slaves have an intact body, I can and will revive them. Or try at least. We will see! Here I go!"

I said, opening a portal below me and jumped through landing by the dumping ground where the corpses of the dead slaves were piled up.

Another set of portals opened up behind me as drones flew out of them enmasse and began to inject yhe corpses with CodeRed.

Slowly and steadily, the bodies twitched, coughed, and pushed themselves up, rising to their feet.

"I'm alive?" One of them said.

"Yep. You're welcome. Now get off the pile. I need to revive the rest too!"

The men and women looked at me, first in shock, then gratitude and finally reverence.

Uh oh. I don't like that look.

"You're a god." A woman cried, as the burn scar around. Her left eye healed and her eye popped back in.

She climbed down the pile and sank to her knees at my feet.

Yep. Just what I feared.

"Uh..." I hesitated, when the others followed, and I rushed to pick her up, putting her back on her feet.

"Don't." I whispered authoritatively.

Raising my voice, I continued.

"I am not a god. Let's get that clear."

"But you revived us!" The woman cried.

"With science! It's no magic or godly power. So..uh don't. Don't worship me. It's wierd. Just get away before the marines return to turn you in kebabs.

Go now." I patted her back, pushing her along.

She nodded, still reverent, and followed my commands.

I sighed.

Looks like I've started a religion. By mistake. Again.

As if the Walker temples on Ryloth weren't wierd enough.

"How nice of you." A voice came from behind me.

I turned to see a drunk old man, taking a swig of his drink.

He gulped down the whole bottle in one go, before smashing it on the ground as he groaned, satisfied, his face revealed.

A scar on his eye, a head of long messy white hair and a Hawaiian shirt.

"Silvers Rayleigh. To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked.

"Pleasure? It's about to become a pain in the ass for you soon enough." He laughed.

"But I guess you were expecting that huh?"

I sighed.

"Sadly, yes." I grinned, "But at least I'll have some fun wiping them out!"

"I like that spirit!" Rayleigh laughed.

"I can help, if you want."

"No need." I said, waving him away, "Get yourself out of danger before it's too late. It's going to get bloody soon."

Rayleigh raised an eyebrow, curious.

"I don't think I will." He said, plopping himself down on a rock beside me.

The skies above the Archipelago began to darken as storm clouds rumbled up above.

Dragon's here it seems.

Footateps sounded out across the whole dump mangrove too as the other factions began to arrive, footsoldiers first.

"Suit yourself. But don't blame me if a stray sea king bites your arm off." I replied, winking at the screen.

I'm sure Shanks' crew is having a good chuckle at his expense somewhere out there.

"You are surprisingly knowledgeable. It's creepy!" Rayleigh bellowed out in laughter.

"Only you'll think something like this is funny." I said, scanning the rest of the garbage dump as the last of the people were revived.

A fire raged on the other end of the dump, rising like a wall, cutting off one edge of the dump completely.

Akainu is really taking no chances here huh?

A winged beast flit across the skies, weaving past the mangroves, leaving behind only a blur in it's wake.

A gaggle of mutated beastly people followed behind it.

King, I assume then.

A field of soft white substance began to spread towards me from the east.

Who might that be now?

I put away my drones and got ready to fight, as the fires crept closer, walking a bit further into the dump, coming to rest in the middle of the field.

The first to reach me was the revolutionaries.

"Mfufufu! Coat-Boy! Your courage is admirable! You'll fit right in with the revolution!

But if you don't come with us now, the others might not let you live. Come now Coat-Boy!" Ivankov extended me a hand.

"Emporio Ivankov. Great to meet you. Your devil fruit...It interests me very much! Mind selling it to me?!" I asked.

"Is this really the place for that? Your life is in danger." Kuma interjected.

"No it's not. But yours will be if you don't get away soon." I smiled, shooing them away.

"I know you think you're strong but you can't stand against the might of the world alone." Kuma urged.

"Ohohoho! Watch me." I said.

"This is not a joke. They will kill you, Coat-Boy." Ivankov warned.

"They will try." I smiled, stretching as my back straightened with satisfying pops.

"Now, if you're not going to leave, at least stand back. I would rather you not get hurt."

"We should be the ones saying that to you!" Kuma said, standing before me, only to be portaled to the edge of the field beside Rayleigh.

I did the same with Ivankov, just as a wave of magma washed over me, channeling around the forcefield harmlessly, forming a dome around me.

Trying to trap me in my bubble?

Try again!

I seeped my technokinesis into the forcefield, and pushed it out, cracking the lava dome, blowing it away.

I jumped up activating my rocket shoes, rising above the lava, and landed on the sweltering surface, forming a forcefield floor beneath me, just as Akainu rose out of the lava before my eyes.

"You will not escape this t-"

I shot him with my laser pistol.

It burnt through him leaving a hole in his body. But that filled right up with more magma.

"Your pathetic attempts crash fruitless against the bulwark of justice!" He announced and began to walk over.

"Not so easy to kill huh? We'll see about that!" I aimed my wrist at him and shot out a disintegration beam from my wristwatch, hitting him on the shoulder.

He hissed with pain, the haki keeping disintegration at bay and shot out the magma from his arm before the disintegration could reach him proper, as the affected magma rolled off of him and right off his arm, disintegrating on the floor.

"So the disintegration beam works but not fast enough. Let's try something else!" I smiled.

I pulled out an antimatter gun from a portal and shot him.

His eyes went wide for a moment as he jumped back while another figure burst into the fray and a shimmering translucent energy flew out of his palm, slapping the beam away, dissipating it.

This time it was my turn to be gobsmacked.

"Excuse me what?!" I cried out.

"One does not simply swat away an ANTIMATTER beam!"

"Bwhahahahaha! This is the power of love!" Garp laughed.

"That is such bullshit!" I said.

"Computer, hit Garp with a Godslayer."

Garp suddenly swerved, his expression grim and punched out into the air as a portal opened up beside him.

The defence ignoring FTL bolt zipped out, tearing past his haki, and through his arm, blowing away the left side of his body entirely before disappearing into another portal to a dead world.

Garp turned to look at me, his one eye betraying shock and regret, as he fell to his knees, collapsed on the floor dead.

"So the Godslayer FTL slingshot still works huh? Good to know!" I noted, satisfied.

Akainu turned to look at me with abject horror, and took a step back almost instictively before he caught himself.

Immediately, shame and rage replaced fear and he charged me, landing punch after punch on my forcefield fruitlessly.

"That didn't work the first ten times you tried. What makes you think it'll work now?" I mocked.

"Garp was my hero! Our hero! How dare you kill him!" He shouted, tears streaming down his face.

"Kinda like this." I said, forming a finger gun.

"Bang!"

Another Godslayer bolt tore through Akainu like a hit knife through butter, splattering him all over.

He fell down on one knee, gasping for breath, as his body began to coalesce.

"Seriously?" I deadpanned.

Akainu looked down at himself, and an arrogant smile glowed on his face.

"The power of evil will nev-"

I shot his mouth with a freeze ray shutting him up.

"Logias are goddamn broken fruits, you know? But that doesn't mean I can't deal with your kind." I said, pulling out a handful of white-blue vials and a pinkish gun from my arsenal.

I threw the vials onto Akainu, the heat of his lava body shattering the vials sending blue crystals scattered onto his body.

Crystallized permafrost from Charn. Stole it straight from the Ice Queen herself. Originally, I used it for cooling, because neverending magic ice crystas, duh.

Imagine a perpetual heat sink!

But then a bright idea struck me!

Charn was dying from loss of magic and heat. I needed a heat sink.

Mutual problem, mutual solution!

It was a win win scenario!

So, I saved the world in that reality, and turned it into an outlet for my waste heat, turning the whole world into my very own heat sink, with her staff as the centerpiece.

Accidentally became the god of that world too.

Take that Aslan. No one needs your crummy old Deep Magic and 'just have faith in the jesus lion' anymore when the Power Of Science can save them!

Maybe I'll do the same to Narnia, just to fuck with him later.

Magic can be amazing sometimes, but science is always better!

In the blink of an eye, the crystals burst like firecrackers, freezing everything around them, including Akainu, into ice.

I raised the pink explosion gun, and levelled it at him, letting loose blast after blast, decimating him completely.

Suddenly, a wave of power burst forth from outside my vision, sweeping over the field, bypassing my forcefield and sent me stumbling back, my thoughts a mess.

Immediately, I took a sip of mega seed juice, my logical side taking over as I composed myself again.

I ran my hand through my hair, scanning the field for it's source.

There behind Akainu, Garp shuffled, a thin aura of black energy took over him, as he stood back up.

He took a step forward, his intense gaze sent chills down my spine, and I muttered.

"Holy shit!"

It's Haoshoku Haki!
