Chapter 47: An Impossible Phenomenon

The bodies lie on the ground, their eyes cold and lifeless. Everywhere she looks, there are only corpses stinking of rotten meat and fungi. Their skins are decaying and the bones from their decomposing bodies are visible. Their heads have been ripped apart with an animalistic force and there are marks of sharp fangs on their bodies.

She squirms at the stench but her heart is not scared of the sight. Instead, her eyes are on a large silhouette which is standing at the end of the field. The sky has turned black with only a full moon shining brightly up above her.

A golden light is emitting from the creature ahead. His glorious body is taut and well toned with eight packs. He is tall, possibly the tallest creature she has ever seen with dark eyes and a beautiful mane. Drops of blood are dripping from his lips which curve into a smile.
