Chapter 16: Slap
They all knew they had no choice and said, "ok."
Kaito turned off the connection, but the caravan's still formed a straight line.
"Oh right, all-seeing wolves, sense of smell may be shit, but their hearing can extend about 62 miles; the outsides of our caravans are in stealth, but if you make noise inside, you'll be fucked cause if the caravan moves, there will be slight vibrations on the ground."
"Remember, the caravan may be in stealth, but you are not, and if your caravan gets hit by wind blades, use the item I gave you and jump out of your caravan into the air, repeat and follow us," Kaito said.
After Kaito stopped speaking, they all started to move.
Enopy's sight was filled with abandoned buildings on his left and deep dark caves on the right. The right was filled with wind and all-seeing wolves. "Haha, that's ironic seeing how they don't have eyes," Enopy thought, but he still felt unmistakable danger from those 2-6 feet wolves.
On his right, it was barren; he could tell that was the bandit's area; the buildings were made of metal scraps, which the wolves occupied.
Enopy was way more fascinated by the wolves; he was stuck on a particular three-legged wolf which was alone, an outcast, and he thought," it should have died, it's weak, it's slightly helpful, and it could never match the others. Still, I admire its ability to survive until rank 2; it made it to this level alone." He couldn't really tell its rank, but he knew it was higher than rank 1 due to the dangerous pressure that landed on him whenever he looked at it.
His mind soon turned elsewhere.
"After a week of peaceful travel, something is bound to happen, but it has been three weeks, and we're still not out of the windy despair," Enopy thought as he laid down on his bed; he wasn't bored after all he did spend a million years in darkness, but he was expectant towards what he could find and become at the training facility.
He whispered so low it sounded like a wisp of air "transparent."
The caravan went transparent, letting Enopy look outside; he looked around; he was trying to see if there was anything interesting today but held low expectations.
Suddenly he turned his head up with great speed it seemed that he would break his neck; he saw blades of wind flying right toward him; he knew that if he stayed within the caravan he would be brutally killed.
He made quick moves; he jumped off the bed, pulled out the bracelet-shaped item Kaito gave him, and said "cover"; he didn't even check if it worked before jumping right through the roof.
"Boom!" He was less than 6 inches away from the caravan before it was completely destroyed.
He didn't care to look back when he felt his sense of danger at its peak. He landed on the ground with one leg and pushed himself forward with all his strength. He beamed straight and stopped 2 miles away before he jumped forward again.
His pupils shrunk to a point, and he was given no time to react as he was slapped down to the ground by a wind wolf with an all-seeing wolf on its back.
He slammed into the ground, rocks flew everywhere, and a crater was born. He lifted himself out of it as soon as he got a good foothold; he tried to run but was met with a slap; he tried to take that chance to run but was met with another slap.
"Slap, slap, slap, slap"
One wolf was playing tennis and using Enopy as the ball.
Enopy was furious, but he had nothing else to use; he had already activated the quiet and swift technique, and the item given by Kaito was useless; all these circumstances made him furious.
He thought of a crazy idea that his intelligence negated, but his instinct and drive urged him to execute it.
He eventually gave in; he ripped off his bracelet and crushed it he was about to be hit with another slap, but an explosion separated them and blasted him away, he tried to protect himself with his aura, but he soon stopped as he found himself surrounded by a group of wolves.
He jumped into the air and completely changed his orb kimono into a Maa hand sword and a Maa Grosse sword. His Maa hand sword felt like the Maa Grosse sword, but it seemed better at Piercing attacks; he used his aura to propel him down; he placed the tips of his blades together and turned himself into a spear.
He was about to reach the ground as he put his arms extended at his side making a cross like shape while he twisted his body. He was trying to split all five heads at the same time.
He spun in the air at high speed; he felt a slight resistance on his blades; his black hair grazed the ground, and he deployed his aura; he kept pushing it out, trying to protect himself from the imminent danger that he sensed, but he barely had any of his aura left. Given he has been using his aura since he leaped out of the caravan he decided to bulge his muscles to the limit. "tump" he felt great pain on the left side of his body before he was blasted into the ground as the opening collapsed.
"Where am I, ugh" he tried to sit up, but his severe injuries left him immobile even picking up his head caused him pain; he had no choice but to lay there out of fear of worsening his already severe injuries.

He laid there for two weeks and gave his body a chance to heal just enough to stand up; he decided not to go back to the surface, but he knew which direction they were going; his changed aura was low, so he decided to cultivate not caring if the wolves sensed him he wanted to strengthen his body and punch his way through until he reached the border splitting the Windy Despair and the Red Ash mountain.
