Chapter 3: My friend's boyfriend (Part 3)
I have dedicated myself to my studies and life is going at its pace now exams only 7 months away.
I am friends with Vanessa still but have kept to distance. I heard from some girls in coaching that she and Evan are now good friends with a Senior who now mentors in coaching and is going to become a judge in next three years. I guess if I was still in study session with her I might have gotten help from the senior.
Atleast I don't have to see Evan now .
Oh again it is tiring to study and cram all knowledge in the brain so at the second terrace of coaching building I came for fresh air . I would like to go to the first terrace but the door was locked so I decided to come here .
Just as I was unwinding from study and breathing fresh air I heard some similar yet strange sound for a virgin courtesy of Vanessa and Evan. And what I see is not to be seen. Oh God Why !!!!
Oh my God!! they're cheating on their friend.
Shit!
I never thought that if there was any problems involving Vanessa's relationship it will be from Evan's side but never did I imagine that Vanessa will cheat on Evan with their new friend the star mentor. I can clearly see them as they are near the side of first terrace but from the angle of second terrace anyone can see them clearly that's why the doorway of first terrace was locked.
I decided to ignore them both as they appear to be quite busy in themselves I slowly closed the iron door and started to go downstairs only to stumble upon Evan.
[ (inside her mind) Oh shit shit shit ]
"Hey I didn't saw you in quite a long time Niya " Evan supposed .
"Yeah ! Well why are you here ?"
"To smoke , please move aside " Why are you blocking the way? Niya move !! "
[ Oh God if he saw them he might kill them both by shoving them down the terrace or feel immense sense of betrayal that he might breakdown, I think I need to do things to save him and Vanessa both ]
I impulsively took his collar and kissed him tightly and he after few seconds kissed me back.
I took a step back and said " If you want more follow me " and started walking downstairs and then I was mentally panicking that how will I say no now .
I was also cursing to Vanessa that because of her I lost my first kiss.
As we reach out side the coaching and are walking away from the building. I feel so stupid for myself that I did this for Vanessa. but I enjoyed kissing him when it is the so wrong .
I need to run from here.
" Niya stop !" Evan mumbled.
[Oh God Why did I ever do shit like this]
I know there's some sort of connection between us Niya but I can't cheat on her .
it will break her and even though I kinda like you but just don't want to break the trust she has on you and me.
You know she is the one who inspired me to work hard for my better future and I know it must have taken you a lot of courage to kiss me but I'm sorry ." he said slowly then turned and run away.
I am sure I felt weird about it. And since that I had lots of admiration and respect for Evan.
It was only 3 months left for the GEE exam
and I got my degree and on the day of convocation I saw Vanessa and she looked a bit I couldn't pin point it but yeah. I hadn't seen her since that day on terrace and felt like ashamed as I had kissed her bf so I was still behaving weirdly.
In the After party every one who graduated from various departments were present and people who still had other competitive exam were also there so even I decided to attend and to say that this was my first outing after long long time so as go towards the bar for some drinks for myself I see Vanessa walking towards me and I feel like Evan might have told her about the kiss Oh my God.
I turned to leave so that I didn't have to face a conflict with her in front of so many people. She called my name , And I had to talk with him now ( please please God don't put me situation like this) I prayed mentally .
As soon as she gave me a wedding invitation
I was confused about seeing a wedding invitation as I know many students who are in relationships considered getting married after graduation but most who are preparing for exams don't get married before exams.
And I don't know why I didn't liked that she was marrying Evan.
"So Evan proposed huh? I asked.
" What ? No! Actually Niya I am marrying my mentor the one who used come to coaching we fell in love with each other so I decided to break up with Evan and I am marrying Chris Mannion. " She gushed.
I was bit baffled by all this but congratulated her and asked her if she will give the exam .
She was acting shy and she whispered in my ear that she wouldn't give the exam as she's pregnant and decided not to give the exam.
I didn't know what to say so just nodded
After that day there was no acidental meeting of me with my friend and her boyfriend.
♡♡♡♡♡♡2 YEARS LATER ♡♡♡♡♡♡
I successfully had cleared my GEE exams and started my two and half year training to become a public relations officer in offshore office of my country. Today while entering the building I thought I saw Evan on first floor but it must be my illusion.
Woah it's tiring process in training too and I constantly feel hungry I on right now on terrace and I smiled remembering about how I saw Vanessa and her now husband and I remember my kiss with Evan.
I feel like someone is watching me and turned only to see Evan in Nodal official dress he smiled and came near like really near said " Hey beautiful I am a single man if I have a chance will you like to go out with me ? "
Before I could say anything he kissed me and said " if you want more follow me "
AND THAT'S HOW I STARTED OUT WITH MY FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND WHOM I MEET MY COLLEGE DAYS .
